It had nothing to do with the content of your post. They auto-ban for caps.
banning for 3 words that was in caps? lol

Your gpu core clock is way too low, you can usually overclock above 900 mhz without voltage adjustments Your mem clock is too low. scrypt mining is memory intensive, unlike sha256. my 5850s can get 1200+ mhz memory without any voltage adjustments.
Yeah I know the core clock is too low, but as I said earlier, I was increasing it and the hash rate wasn't increasing at all, so I left it down. Didn't realise you had to delete bin files, so I'm gonna go through the whole process again. my configs: 900 core, 1250 mem, thread-concurrency 7200 and i get 350-360 kh/s per card

You guys do realize that NaturalNews is pretty much like infowars, right? ffs, check the news at the side panel and look how ludicrous they are.

Other miners may not want to help their competition.
Agreeable but isnt it in the best interest of the existing miners ? because one more added miner means more transactions & usage of Bitcoins, if Bitcoins are to 'topple governments' then I think every user counts ? Whats your opinion ? actually, the only added transaction would be from the miner cashing out the bitcoins.

Say my electricity cost is $0.15136/kwh and I have a 700 w power unit.
One month is 700W * (60 x 60 x 24 x 31) = 1874880000 Joule $0.15136/kwh = $0.15136/3.6x10^6 Joule
1874880000 / 3.6 * 10^6 * 0.15136 = 78.828288
My monthly cost is $78. Am I right?
why are you converting kw into joules then converting back? you pay by kilowatt/hr, right?
|

Is there some way that I can cancel those transactions? Seeing as they only have gone through 17 nodes, it's not going to confirm for a very long time.
no, although it will eventually be dropped from each peer's memory pool.

Thank you for your reply!
So they don't have any policy in case of hacking like "We guarantee your deposits up to 50 BTC" as BitStamp did. Now when it comes to rather large sums that people are holding, what would be the most secure way to store the Bitcoins?
guarantees are useless unless there's a third party that can hold the funds and audit the user accounts.

By confirmed you mean some twitter message? Get real. -_-
You realize those twitter messages are from a person who works for/with MtGox right? it's from the founder of mtgox

solo mining = hashes accepted only if it matches the network difficulty, which will take forever.
Ah, that makes sense... going to be a long while before I see an "Accepted" then ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) it might be smart to verify your configuration is correct by mining a few testnet blocks.

the reason instawallet failed was because it had control of all the private keys. unless you store all private keys clientside, and ensure all signing operations are done clientside, your wallet service will always be insecure.

And what if I use bitcoin-QT wallet? Would a paper backup of such wallet become invalid instantly, or only after 99 more transactions?
your key pool is at 100 keys. once you run out of new keys, an additional 100 keys is added to the key pool. it's not currently possible to tell how many keys are left in the pool, but you can refill the pool buy using rpc commands.

I had over 50 LTCs in my account and just did a payout but only got 37.67 LTCs paid out and now my balance shows 0 ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) My balance also changed. Lost about 25% of my balance. (3.7 was the balance, received 2.7, balance after withdrawl 0) my balance of ~2.9 got cut to ~1.9

So, I took it out, was all set to take off the heatsink, and saw the stickers saying I'd void my warranty. I thought, "aw, hell, I'd rather not, what if there's a real problem?" and put it back in. Now it's running at 105C. The fact that it's still running amazes me. I was gonna change the clock speeds, but both EVGA Precision and MSI Afterburner show zeroes for the clocks and don't allow them to be modified. What the hell? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) send them back for RMA. lie to them and say the card keeps on throttling.

anyone notice the price was "20.003"? (note the number of digits after the dot) it looks like european notation for 20,000 BTC you probably "bought" a preorder, so you'll be getting it whenever BFL starts to ship (hint: not anytime soon)
BFL??? The OP was about Avalon. And OP - you cannot get an Avalon for 20 BTC (the going price is well over 100 BTC now) so I think unfortunately you might have lost your BTC (although I hope not and if you haven't sent any then *don't*). oops, my bad. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

you do realize that people could have gotten batch 3 avalons (with 63 GH/s) for 10 BTC more, right?
