2781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Bitcoin which is best. on: March 26, 2021, 11:47:43 PM
Of course this will increase the price, when eth 2.0 goes on the gas fee will be much cheaper than now
That's the purpose of the 2.0 and EIP 1559. They're about to lessen the fees which has been painful for most of the people that are transacting through ETH.
The increase in transaction through NFT has also contributed to the increase of it just like the cryptokitties days.
We can't further tell how effective will be this ETH2.0 upgrade until the moment launched. We are just hoping that it gives a huge help to lessen the huge fees that we cried about. We still have 4 months to wait and I don't think that people can still wait that long and able to hold their ERC20 tokens and never be driven by their emotions after seeing some declines.
2782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 26, 2021, 10:43:20 PM

Yeah right, it depends from how he will perform and what would be the fate of his team, there's always opportunities if he and
From a team that is not even a playoff contender, I doubt he will improve or earn a bigger contract.  Maybe if he will get traded to a better team but we still have to see what he can do in the PBA as it's a bigger stage, bigger than any basketball league he has played before.

the whole squad perform well, maybe additional bonuses will applies to everyone.
Bonus only applies if the team will reach the Finals.. BW is not capable of that under their current roster.
2783  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: March 26, 2021, 10:32:59 PM
Try natin today baka may swerte ako today.

Picks ko today.

Philadelphia -5.5
San Antonio +6
Miami +2
Golden State +3.5
Washington vs  New York, under 224.5

I got 2-3, losing day and I'm not happy with it.. that Miami Heat +2 almost hit but that stupid foul make my life miserable. lol...

Babawi ako today.

my pick.

Boston +6
Heat +1
Nuggets -2.5

kahit after by quarter nalang or by half dahil hindi naman to tulad ng GC na lagi nating na momonitor.

Anyway, gusto ko ang Nuggets today, sana manalo tayo..
Heat di ba back to back game yan? Baka napagod sa laro kaya malabong manalo yan.
2784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government ban on crypto on: March 26, 2021, 02:18:02 PM
Many governments want to do this, but not many are able to do it. I still don't understand what is really happening in India.
What happens to India is just similar to what happens to China and some other countries that opposed crypto.
It gonna be a control issue. Their leaders (and even the others) wanted to keep Bitcoin on their hands which is very unlikely to happen no matter how powerful they are.
I don't know if they are totally thinking it right and they had tried to listen to the public coz probably it is not the wants of the people.
2785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you don't need to HODL or trade Bitcoin on: March 26, 2021, 01:44:40 PM
Well, I think OP is not really a fan of Bitcoin. All your suggestions and protection towards Bitcoin haven't good for him.

We don't need to argue why we hold Bitcoin or not. OP has already decided what could be the best coin for him and he should keep and trust it. It is not this time we have to see the result and to knows who wins either the Bitcoin holder or ETH holder (OP).

We all are here for a reason and most of us are here for investment. And we are free to choose which one seems to be best and profitable. Because for me, I hold and traded them both.
2786  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin could win the currency war on: March 25, 2021, 02:01:23 PM
This is not a war and Bitcoin never competes with fiat or any local currency. People will know that Bitcoin isn't fully established as a currency but most investors are just considering this as a store of value and investment. This just gives us another option, not a thing that it was created for the said purpose to replace fiat.

I don't know why some people wanted Bitcoin to replace fiat money. Or, I'm not sure if they know more about Bitcoin that they are confident enough that this never gives any problem in the future.
2787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can play tricks on your mind on: March 25, 2021, 01:37:53 PM
~

I think most of the investors are dealing with this on their mind. Especially if you are a short-term investor, it really bothers people very much. Because you need to follow the changes in the price very regularly to make a better decision. But for the long-term investors, the situation is not that much I think. They start being like this especially when the price movements seem interesting.
Long-term investors never look and check their investments daily. Let say, their target is to hold for 5 years, they just only check on it as the time comes near to their goal. They don't get bothered if the market price goes down during that 5 years holding because, in the first place, they never know it.

The reason why people are got into FOMO, easily get panic is that they never get tired of checking the price every day. If that only they don't do it, I'm sure we never heard about panic selling and complaining why they lose.
2788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if the bear market starts next month on: March 24, 2021, 10:26:00 PM
although this possibility is low and probably won't happen. but I want to ask you. if the bear market starts next month, and bitcoin falls below 20k. which altcoins were still able to survive and which altcoins are feeling the big impact of the bear trend.

we exclude stablecoins, because after all the market situation this coin will definitely be stable.

so I think Ethereum can still survive and that Ripple will be one of the biggest impact altcoins during the bear market.

I expect ALTS to pump for few weeks, then drastically fall. Just like in 2018.
Except now you should have experience, and sell as close to the top as possible

Altcoins will fall when bitcoin falls, that's the closest scenario.. as the current movement, bitcoin is falling again, looks like bitcoin could again dump below $50k and the market will certainly be affected especially the altcoins. Bitcoin falls 10%, altcoins will experience a bigger loses.
2789  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin will hit $60,000 today, what's next? on: March 24, 2021, 10:11:42 PM
Nexo boss just said today that 100k is inevitable,,, but it will be a bumpy road. I generally do not like to listen to all these big guys talk about Bitcoin price but I actually believe this already. We will be at 100k one day. Maybe not this year maybe not even next year but we will surely arrive at the way Bitcoin keeps rising.

It will not be fun all of the way but keep hodling;)

Definitely, holding is fun, don't panic when dump happened and everything would be good.

$100k should not be hard to achieve though, we reach $60k when we hit $20k, that's x3 increase, so at the current price if there's another x3 increase, that would already make it to $150k, actually we should not worry about the future as if its time, we will really see the price that we are hoping, as long as it's realistic.
2790  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading, is it worth? on: March 24, 2021, 02:22:34 PM
Hello guys, how are you?

It is nice to meet you!

Honestly...we're good as the market surging high making for another ATH.

Day trading is really good for people who wanted to learn and patiently wait to develop their knowledge and skills in trading. To tell you that many individuals had come and tried trading but not all of them wins. Why? it is because they don't like the results of what they are doing.

You can say that some traders can manage to have 10%-20% monthly profit, but try to ask them how long (years) they have been doing this. You will probably surprise by their answer and suggestions.
2791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Rodriguez - April 10th on: March 23, 2021, 10:40:33 PM
Finally it's happening, haven't seen fights of Filipino fighters recently but this one should be good.

However, as I checked the betting odds, look like it's not attractive to bet on Ancajas here.

Here are the betting odds from online sportsbook BetOnline.ag (full review here).

Jonathan Rodriguez +700
Jerwin Ancajas -1100

Not sure if the odds are accurate though, can anyone confirm this?
2792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 23, 2021, 10:23:50 PM
My pick today is kings/cavs game over224.5.  I know cavs don't score a lot but the kings turn the game into a race.  Lowest over under I've seen from them in awhile.  The other game i like is the Timberwolves-1.5. Might parlay these 2.  Thoughts?

Brutal.  Kimgs game ended at 224 points missed by half a point lol.  Tonight I'm going to take my losing streak and pick the pelicans/Lakers over 221.5.  I think with the big stars out Lakers are going to have to play with a little more pace and the pels can score in bunches.  Like this pick for the night.

Good luck wheelz1200, you will get that win tonight, I like your pick though as Pelicans is always a high scoring team and they should have no trouble tonight against the Lakers without their star players, last 2 games Lakers did not hit 100 points but if Pelicans here could score 130 points more, I guess  the over will be hit.
2793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Investing on: March 23, 2021, 02:38:34 PM
I’d like to get some opinions on Altcoin investing strategy. Here’s where I’m upto.

3.   What about taking further profits, selling out completely? I’ve read that altcoins will lose 60-90% of their value when altcoin bubble bursts.

This can't be denied and that is how important to look into an opportunity not to miss the hype and could able to sell before it burst. Long-term holding for altcoins is at very high risk and that is why I'd never do that.

For now, I have some altcoins but could be sold anytime, just waiting for the best price. Yeah, it really hard to make it perfect but as long as we are holding potential altcoins, it lessens our worries that it drops more. I'm hoping that the situation could give me some favor and give me the best shot.
2794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: insane fees on eth (uniswap) on: March 21, 2021, 12:34:52 PM
I just don't use the service because of the high commissions, always looking for alternative ways to sell if there are any. There is no desire to overpay once again.
Actually, it is a thing we do but OP didn't find any exchanger for his token and that leaves no choice either, he has to sacrifice the fee or just lose that price opportunity. Because if I am in his situation, I should still have to sell/swap it. But of course, we consider first also the value of the token (total price) versus the fee collected. If that we are still profiting why we should have to wait for the fee to lower down? This is just an opportunity, I don't know that if it knocks you again in the future.
2795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: March 20, 2021, 10:26:15 PM
We can try to stop gamblers from losing more money, but we can not force them to follow our suggestion because they will decide by themselves to continue or stop gambling. I think they will hard to stop gambling, no matter if they win or lose, as they really enjoy the gambling games, so maybe not many gamblers or our friends will stop gambling as soon as possible. On one side, that is our friends, and we can not force them to stop on the other side. That will be hard situations for us to say stop to them.

I guess you would not stop someone if they are enjoying, the scenario of what OP is trying to convey to us is if we are seeing a gambler who are losing control and just gamble everything he has even if he is losing as we already know how a situation would end up.

I've been in that kind of situation so I totally understand, I gambled while I'm drunk so I got more aggressive and wasn't thinking straight and end up losing everything, including the money that was suppose for family expenses or budget.
2796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 20, 2021, 10:04:20 PM
Who else is disappointed about Nets vs Magic?

Disappointed in a way of what? Well yes, that was unexpected but I think not all are fans of Nets here so they will just let it go. Surely, Magic fans aren't disappointed and to those bettors that placed a bet on them on that match as take note, Magic IIRC is on a 9th game losing streak prior to that match.

Magic played a great performance and that's it. We don't need any further explanation why the favorites Nets lost. Let's give credits instead to those who put up some good works on the Magic why they won.

I'm a nets fan and I'll never get disappointed in they lose, that's normal to a game, they are having some great streak but streak are meant to be over. Irving played well on his come back scoring 43 points but Harden's usual contribution is just missing in this game, however, it's understandable as Harden does not have a rest unlike his co stars but for sure they'll bounce back and start winning again.
2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Artur Beterbiev vs Adam Deines Unified Light Heavyweight Title on: March 20, 2021, 09:38:38 PM
I am searching for a live stream for the fight as well but sad to say they are all paid for view, but year the fight needs to have pay per view so boxer will surely take income from it, but still wish there will be a free live stream but I can not see any link for it, but just like the others waiting for something to happen and the fight will surely start in a couple of hours,

I really think that Artur Beterbiev will win this a huge possibility there is no doubt about this, in my opinion, the hype and the odd are surely accurate.

Usually the free live stream will come out once the fight starts. I remember bisdak is very active in sharing those kind of links, maybe we will wait until  he finds one so we can enjoy watching it together, I'm rooting on the same fighter, this is gonna be an easy win for him.

I checked on this site for NBA live, not sure if they have a live streaming for boxing.

2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 20, 2021, 09:25:04 PM
A sudden change of odds with Grizzlies and GSW after winning.
From 4.10 yesterday to 2.85.  Roll Eyes

I'll take my chances with the Clippers vs Hornets game.
Hornets ML.
Ball had been playing great and even gave the Lakers a hard time to win.
With their guards offensive power they might win it, while Pat Beverley is still on the sideline.  Cheesy

I liked it, Hornets has to win this game, they have 2 loses in a row already, it's time for them to surprise another good team. LA Clippers also came from a loss against the Dallas Mavericks, but we know Clippers are not consistent lately and Hornets are making surprises, I'm riding, let's go.
2799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is a game of capital on: March 20, 2021, 04:51:20 PM
As much as trading capital plays a major role in determining the amount of profits made at the end of the day, it would be wrong to believe it's the only major factor necessary to make profits.
Much more than being a game of capital, I believe trading is a game of strategies that work and consistency. Even if you have the most capital to trade and your strategies always end in a loss, you'd eventually lose it all and back out of trading.
If you have a good strategy or strategies and you're consistent with trading, you can build your account from as low as $10 to as high as anything
Agreed, no matter how low you capital is, even if it's just a tip given from you or just bonus from the trading site itself, you may still be able to earn big as long as you have the strategy and the right research about it.
Your capital can grow big along the way if you compound all the earnings you get from it. What's important in trading is the right researches and strategies. If you can manage your earnings, losses and funds way better than those who have higher capital then you are more likely to earn than those who started big. I'm not saying that the capital isn't important because you can earn way higher if you have high capital but rather you can achieve and achieve higher funds and capital if you have the right materials, researches and put your time and effort unto trading.
But we can't argue that it takes more time to earn $1000 if you have just $10 capital than you start with $1000. We can see a huge difference and ain't that a big problem if we are able to have that patient to grow and double our money.

That is why, if we can able to start with a big amount that will be great and we never lose a lot of time waiting to grow it. And another reason is that we might miss some good prices which will make us regret it. Perhaps, time is so precious, we have to maximize it if we can.
2800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Naoya Inoue vs Michael Dasmarinas (No date yet) on: March 20, 2021, 11:53:36 AM
Inoue first needs to get past Dasmarinas here, it won't be an easy battle, this is a Filipino boxer who always love to fight as a underdog and then pull an upset. Although Inoue is one the best and the hardest puncher in this division, we will never know how motivated Dasmarinas is in this fight, until we see him in the ring and give his best effort to beat Inoue.
Exactly, he needs to win here although his opponent is really an underdog in this fight.
No schedule yet but since sports of boxing is getting audience already, this could happen anytime and hopefully in the first half of the year.

Either way, Inoue needs to win here, and then we can discuss about him facing another Filipino, but this time a more experience Casimero.
If they want to discuss, that's really a big problem because they have agreed before but later cancelled the right, we can understand that because pandemic was still fresh that time but this time, I guess they can make it possible if Bob would agree.
