^^ PG13 is just on the shadow of Leonard in this series, but I would say that he is consistent, not just offensively, but in defense as all.

I love how Reggie Jackson, Mann and Batum are doing as well. They are also playing good defense at the same time hitting clutch three point. Wonder thought why Rajon Rondo is not giving enough minutes on the court, is he nursing some injury or something?

What lacking again for the Jazz is their inside offense, they relied so much on their 3 point shooting and they got tired in the end. Their 3 point shooting in that game was only 37% or 20-54, and that's below their average I believe, while the Clippers only made 40 attempts because they are driving the ball inside and they are moving the ball very well.

If they can't beat the Clippers without Leonard, then I guess this series is over in 6 already.

I believe that this NBA season belongs to the west team. Whoever win in the East will face monster team like Phila, Nets and Bucks which is very strong with there current roster. Clippers without Kawhi is just another team on East. I highly doubt that PG13 can continue this game phase until finals though.

Leonard's injury looks serious because his status now is "out indefinitely", and according to the news, it was an ACL injury and he might be out long term. We never know if he will come back in the next round or the WCF, but without him, I think the Clippers will suffer against the healthy Suns.
2782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 17, 2021, 11:25:57 AM

Yep, lost both of my bets.

Sixers feel very comfortable with that huge lead and all of a sudden here comes the Hawks and it seems they can't missed any shots while Sixers have difficulty in even making those FT. I agree that it may be partly on the coaching staff, they call a time out and then what? turn over, poor pass and poor shot selection.

On the other hand, PG13 proved himself again and redeem his name in the playoffs. Who wouldn't have thought that they now have the potential to knock out the top seed in the West next game.

Bad day for those who supports the favorites, it's really unexpected and  very new to all gamblers and ordinary fans who watched the game,

Not against anyone but I agree that the most influenced with that lost from the Hawks mostly blames with the coaching staff, they are the one who rotates the players, and instead of having a good ball movements after calling timeout, players inside turned it over or ain't convert anything.

They've got one more game to survive the series and force to play at home..

It was the day for the road teams, I didn't expect the Sixers to come back and win and the Clippers without Kawhi to win. What a very unpredictable game we witnessed, but overall it was an entertaining one.  Look at Embiid, he missed 2 crucial FT, that guy is not clutch, it's really Trae Young who is a real superstar, he doesn't panic at all.
2783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: June 16, 2021, 12:40:50 PM
It would be better if there's still site who can facilitate and offer anonymous gambling since we are inside crypto,
if there's site who can allow players to stay anonymous.

Though we all aware that government will come and chase those legal sites and ask for implementations of their rules.
It's not that easy to weigh if you are the owner, knowing that risk from the government will hurt your business.

Let see if how or what adjustment can be done here.
There will be a crypto gambling site that still gives anonymity to their members even if the government comes and asks about the casino's legality and asking for the KYC from them. The gambling owner will think about that and they will try to explain the situation to the government. I am sure there will be a solution for the members who do not want to give their personal information to the casino or the government.

No way they can lie to the regulators, the regulators have all the tools to determine if the casino is telling the truth or not, and the penalty for such violation is very serious, it could put the owner or operator to jail and I don't think they'll allow that to happen. Once a casino is regulated and ordered to implement the KYC to all of its client, then the casino will just follow without condition.

Woow, Durant was on fire!! I was impressed with his performance, he literally played really well!
Harden could have helped more, but unfortunately he didn't play good.

These semi finals in NBA are well balanced. Let's see what other games will happen.

If they will win in this series, Nets should thank Durant for being a GOAT in that game, I can't believe what he did, he doesn't look like he came from an injury, he is just shooting well and driving the ball, he is a complete player with a clutch mind, he deserve to win the Finals MVP if they'll be the champion in the NBA Finals.
2785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: June 15, 2021, 02:30:37 PM
~
Fortunately, we are in the crypto world with a crypto gambling site to find the casino that does not have a KYC and does not apply verification for their member except for people who want to withdraw big money. We can feel it is better to stay on that casino instead of searching for the other gambling site because we need time to find that sites and we do not know if they will ask their member to fill KYC. There is an option for a gambler to choose where they will playing gambling, so that will be up to the gambler.
That kind of thing won't last that long though, as crypto gets noticed by more people, the more the government and authorities wants to dip their hands in those money and they want to put regulations in it as much as possible since it is a fresh moneymaker.
The government and authorities will indeed want to get their hands in that money. Still, they need to regulate a new law for the crypto gambling site and that is not easy because that will be related to many aspects and people in the government. While that thing is not going to happen quickly, we can still play gambling on that site and hopefully, there is a crypto gambling site that still does not use KYC for their members.

It's still possible but we have to trust the site as eventually when the regulation will be stricter, all sites will be required to register to be regulated, so those who would offer an anonymous gambling experience are sites that has no license, and that is risky for gamblers.
2786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 15, 2021, 01:58:50 PM
I don't know but we might see the same result of the Thurman vs Pacquiao fight.

Expecting this too because I'm now biased.

A good strategy is to just maintain gaining points each round. No need to Knockout Spence but if there's a chance why not.

Not like before that Manny is aiming always at KO if possible. He's more careful now as being aggressive is taking too heavy loads on his body.
At least Errol Spence Jr. is not as trash talker like Keith Thurman that almost going below the belt before the fight.

and cries after the fight lol.

He is also a trash talker, maybe not at par with Keith Thurman but they needed that in order to ensure that it will attract people's attention to watch the fight live and to buy their PPV subscription. It doesn't matter to us anyway, we just want to see an entertaining fight and we understand that "trash talking" is just part of the game.
2787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 15, 2021, 12:39:55 PM
The clippers have the momentum going to the road, they can win this series for sure.

Leonard did not play in the game's final minutes, but that's alright because they are in a good lead.
He seemed to be okay, this is the latest update about his injury.

https://www.si.com/nba/clippers/news/kawhi-leonard-on-apparent-knee-injury-ill-be-good (he is good)

It was another great game for Clippers surely. They made a really good comeback in the series and tied it (2-2). P. George and Leonard both played really good that both of them had 30+ points and they were so close to making a double-double as well. I loved Morris' performance also. He made 5/6 3-pointers.

That's another Dallas vs Clippers scenario but this time I think there will be no game 7 because the Clippers had already dominated the Jazz. I can't remember the Jazz had a lead in game 4, so this will just continue as the Clippers are really talented as a team.

Game 7 chances for this series is still huge. I mean the Clippers may have the winning momentum, but I have a feeling that the Utah Jazz might win one more game at home in game 5. I'm not sure, but the Jazz will for sure are making necessary adjustments to win a crucial game 5.
Mitchell alone can't win games. The Jazz will be forcing their supporting cast to step up or else they'll lose this series.
Nevertheless, 6 teams has been playing a good series with 2-2 standings, except the Nuggets who got swept by the Suns.

It's about the defense, that's something the Jazz has to improve, on the 2 losses of the Clippers on the road, that was because they have limited the production of PG, but PG has also adjusted now and has been providing some good points for the team, that's something they need to figure out back home, if they can't then Clippers might win the next 2 games.

I think kyc should not be applied in online gambling casinos because you won the money fair and square and if they decide to apply it they should provide a trustworthy people to handle the kyc report and they should be well known to the custumer to avoid the blackmail and scams as you said.
If it's already in the TOS before you sign it up, then we should not blame them for that, instead, we have to blame ourselves for not reading the TOS. There are some casinos that have KYC while some do not require it, so we are free to choose what casino to play with, complaining or making it a standard won't really work as not all of the casinos are under one regulator.
The problem is not everyone who signs up for a new gambling site reads the TOS, I think more than 50% of people who sign, the main reason is that the TOS is long and it's very technical that we find it boring, and also, it's understandable as majority of gamblers does not risk a decent amount of money and they can take the risk of losing their account.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 14, 2021, 01:38:23 PM
Every fight is different and there is no point in comparing a fight against different opponents and fight math do not work in a fight and we can only speculate how it could go as styles always makes fight.

I am expecting Lomachenko to win the fight and i am expecting him to finish Nakatani in the final rounds rather than going for the distance.
That depends if you are watching a video of a previous fight of the fighter that's mentioned in the upcoming fight but there are instances where the current fight sometimes have some comparison to other fights in the past because the present fighters have the same style and they are compared to the fighters from the past.

There's no other reference but to compare the previous fights, we will never know what would happen in this fight but we are predicting based on the information that we read and the highlights of the previous fights. According to papers, it's Lomachenko who will likely to win here, but upset could happen so there's no guarantee at all.
2791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: See why most bounty hunters get scammed on: June 11, 2021, 09:58:10 PM
It just clarifies one thing that most of bounty hunters are in hurry perhaps they are applying on multiple bounties thats why they don't read what's written in bounty thread. Its hilarious to read that and people anyway applying
Code:
Campaign starts on today ends today
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5327679.0 [\code]

 ;D
Yeah many Bounty hunters don't even read the description and jump to campaign to catch as much as Bounty tokens. There are bad days and good days in trading but the majority of Bounty token trading pairs are dead on listed exchanges.

They won't be careful because nothing will lose from them. Bounty hunters can join a lot of bounty at the same time and they will not spend any amount for that, if they will make money on some bounties, then well and good but if they got scam, they just have to move on. Actually what needs to be improved is the crowd sale world, it should be regulated so scammers will not play here by using the bounty hunters to scam investors, that would not help to build a good reputation in the market and for the bounty hunting community.
2792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: June 11, 2021, 09:40:37 PM
Today's martingale strategy try. The outcome is really bad, I wasn't lucky enough to make some profit. If I were lucky I could've got atleast a win in between. Kept wagering until the wallet got empty.

That's really unlucky, losing 10 bets in a row must have hurt especially when the base bet is a dollar and you are doubling the amount each time. This is where martingale stings since you have no option but to keep increasing your bets otherwise you won't be able to recover the losses. Personally, if you ask me, I would have made a few $5 bets after losing like 5 bets to cover some balance and then try for a big one later when I face another bad streak. It's hard to stop though when you are losing because it feels like a win is at the edge.

Now imagine if you had a 10-win streak and you were playing with the same base bet of a dollar, you would have only profited 10 bucks. With 10 losses you already lost around ~$400 so that is where the problem lies with martingale strategy, you win small but lose big with a cold streak.

Honestly, I would not think based on luck, I'll think based on probability, martingale is really sucked if you are using it for a huge number of settings as the house edge will still rule, however, if you use it to bet on a certain spot in sports, then I think you'll have success.

Is there anyone here making some experiments in sports betting using the same strategy?

Can you compare it to the outcome of playing the luck-based type of games?

I've done that experiment before using dice games and sports betting as the reference and it does not end well as I lose money on both, but the only difference is that my bankroll got easily busted in dice than in sports betting because the result in dice is instant and in sports betting you can still watch and game and waste some time since you'll just lose your money in the end.
2793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 11, 2021, 09:25:53 PM

The odds is about at 1.06 - 6.96, in favor of Loma. So seems that the bookies is still favoring Loma here. He has the motivation to win this fight because of his previous loss. Because if he will lose again, don't know what is waiting for him in his boxing career. And if can win on this one, high likely that he may ask for a rematch with Lopez. Let's see, couple of weeks and we will see what performance he will give to his boxing fans.

It's not surprising at all, this fight is just to boost Loma again to come back since Loma could attract the crowd in a big fight. Though his opponent has a good record, he has not fought tough challengers on going to this fight, it should be Loma which is his toughest opponent and he should take this seriously as Loma is will focused to win this fight.
2794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: June 11, 2021, 08:42:02 PM
Due to the expensive transaction fee of both Bitcoin and Ethereum it leads me to the change of my chosen coin to avoid the transaction fee. Before, it was dogecoin but now I think both Dogecoin and XRP are good alternative not just it has a fast confirmation but the transaction fee is very expensive.
I'm not using dogecoin already due to high fees, when its price increase, the fees also increase in value, XRP is by far the cheapest coin when it comes to a transaction fee, and it's also instant so it's really good for gambling.
Dont know on what you do consider to be high specially in DOGE since fees arent really that expensive even though there's some increase but not really that much where it do go into some certain extent.

Bitcoin fees now are really cheap and for those who do love to play with Bitcoin would really see it appealing but we cant avoid the fact that it do suddenly changes from time to time depending on network condition.

Aside from XRP then TRX is on next in line when it comes to fees and confirmation speed which i can say that it is really a good alternative.

It's high because I'm sending money coming from an exchange, I'm not holding doge, of course, if I want to gamble, I send bitcoin to an exchange and trade it with DOGE, it's just that the fee is higher now because DOGE price is very high already, but XRP's fee remains cheap, I can play less than 1 xrp for transferring it from an exchange and that's what I like over other altcoins.
2795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Student Coin Speculation/Discussion Thread on: June 11, 2021, 08:22:53 PM
The price is already sinking as we can see in ; https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/student-coin/
This project was offering a garbage scheme to keep its investors to stake their coins on their platform. The team was issuing so many garbage tokens to be distributed to the all of stakers.
The investors starting to realize that if all of the tokens issued by the team for their own agenda.
That's why more and more people have unstaked their coins from the platform to be sent to the kucoin and then the price will be dumping even deeper soon.
That only happens when they start to show their real color, what made them popular in the forum is the bounty hunters who promoted them on different online platforms, they messed up, so they should expect their reputation will not be the same. It's not the bounty hunters or the community that destroyed their reputation, it's their scammy action.
2796  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dump below $30,000 this week? on: June 11, 2021, 01:14:35 PM
Yes, its conceivable that it will break down under $30k, just two days back Bitcoin close enough this resistance. However, Bitcoin shoots to 38K earlier today and likely it will continue pump and dump scheme. It implies the big boys institutional smart money is moving in because they already know the game. what happened right here looks really fishy.
If you are on the long-term side of things, I am pretty sure that there's nothing to worry about because in the end, the prices are going to go up high in the future that the prices moving at an erratic pace this day will be a yesterday's thing.

As usual, bitcoin is always here to create a new ATH as its demand increases over time, but sometimes due to hype and FUD, the price is so volatile and it could be overvalued and undervalued, so it's really hard to say the real status of the market. But now, since the correction is happening, it should give us an opportunity to buy cheap, and always put in mind that bitcoin will break its ATH making us profitable able.

It could go dip below $30k, but it will recover, for short term traders, always pay attention to the price movement but for long term, always focus on the long term and look only for more accumulation opportunity in the short term.

2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 11, 2021, 12:04:12 PM
This is a great fight a young and undefeated Errol Spence Jr vs legendary Manny Pacquiao. I think Spence Jr have some pretty solid shots if Manny would be able to absorb his punches he could won the match with the agility and the ability of Manny Pacquiao to throw punches I think Manny can win we all know that Manny Pacquiao is a veteran boxer and probably he knows what strategies he's going to use against his opponent.

That is the big question, can Manny's chin still hold? we all know that Marquez has broken it already. But Thurman hits Manny in the face, and yet Pacquiao didn't break down and ask for more. So it will be interesting if Spence can hit Pacquiao and how will Manny react.

And how about Spence? what if it's Manny's turn and hit him with that perfect left? How is he going to response if he felt Manny's power. So this is still a intriguing match up and Manny has a chance to win.

Forget about the Marquez fight, it was just a lucky punch and Manny is more careful now, he won't be hit with that kind of counter punch as he is more mature. His KO rate has gone down because he is not fighting aggressively and always think to KO his opponent.

Hahaha, did you guys heard the chants last night from Jazz fans ? " PG IS OVERRATED". I mean he was the best player from Clippers last night but the fact that he has a fight with Ingles, made the fans to chant against him and it worked as Jazz won and they're up 2-0. To be honest , I don't see CLippers coming back into this one ...I mean sure, they can win 1 game but they won't win the series.

Their situation during the first round is far worse than the present, they lose 2 home games and still able to come back, so really, I don't doubt they can come back and even the series. Let's make it an exciting series, a Game 7 would really be nice to witness.

I'm basing on the Bucks vs Nets series, in game 2 on the road, the Bucks were dominated really hard but they won one game already at home.
2800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: June 10, 2021, 09:27:04 PM
1. If I can avoid having KYC and still have some gambling sites that are not requiring, I would probably avoid it but that can only take so long before every site has to comply with the norm.
I don't think so, several gambling games are fully decentralized and are working directly on blockchain, moreover many gambling sites are located in fiscal paradises so they don't really care of KYC or AML
There is no such thing called decentralized gambling site is exists, there are few decentralized blockchain games are available but if we talk about the sites then it is always under the ownership of someone and there is nothing wrong with it. Well casinos don't have the intentions of collecting your KYC but the government wants them to do for AML purpose so these sites have to collect them and report it to the government if there is a need for it.

The only decentralized gambling site I saw before was Directbet.eu, no need to register, send bitcoin to your address and they'll send it right away once your bet won, it's very popular in the past but they did not last long, they got close, probably the regulators came to play.  Smiley

we can search a lot about Directbet in this forum, like this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1928229.0 and this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5193242.0
