You're crazy if you buy now. Jed has told everyone his intentions. You are all going to get billions of XRP dumped on you. Why buy now? The price is going to fall off a cliff in two weeks.
It depends on Jed. If he dumps all his holdings in one go then yes, we can see a rather nasty crash landing. BTW currently they have another interesting issue what you can see here: https://xrptalk.org/topic/2625-pushing-genesis-back-to-0/...

I'm not jumping straight on scam but I consider those warning signs: - "the known crypto currencies use complicated emission and distribution mechanisms" --> Everybody else is wrong: we are right!
- "requiring a deep knowledge in programming" --> highly debatable at best
- "expansive computer equipment" --> debatable, I am not aware of their proposed fix
- "accessible and understandable to all worldwide internet users" --> some internet users can barely do math...
When I see things on borderline of misinformation, I usually approach with caution. Good points, but all of this could be the usual marketing BS. Just take a look at the Announcement subtopic. You can see the same marketing gimmicks in almost every new coin announcements... even in the case of the very few non scam\p&d\get rich quick coins.

Jed announced his dump on XRPTalk first so many of them sold before the price crashed. Now as I see they happily buying back and investing more money into XRPs.

Looks like a pyramid scheme, so for the first few ppl it will be very profitable. For the rest... well free coins for registration, so so you can make a few free sathosis if you can excange pelecoins somewhere. Otherwise looks legit.

Great stuff! I'll keep an eye on this. One question. What about the legal background? In most states gambling is strictly regulated I doubt that they will be happy with a distributed anonymous gambling solution.

Sorry mate, but after finshaggy's various experiments your "hit the road and raise awareness of BTC" sounds plain and boring .

Never heard of it...why bit?
Probably "bit" is short enough for some guys with limited "storage capacity". They can store this world more easily than the much longer "bitcoin" without overloading something .

Creating a DAC as a replacement for TBF could be a solution. A DAC can have shareholders, an embedded voting system, a board of directors (elected by the shareholders via the embedded voting system), possibility of voting on decisions. As it's worldwide distributed it can create IRL subsidiaries practically everywhere, it can pay salaries directly or by using it's local subsidiaries, it can hire or fire devs, contractors, specialists, lobbists... so a DAC could be a really potent but still transparent entity for developing, promoting, controlling, regulating or unregulating BTC.

N2 version used is too low, there is a loophole, if you upgrade to version 1.X, there will be more people to invest in your
True. A more updated version with more functions would be better.

Try an ssh client like Putty first.

I'd be happy if BTC would rise to 1K, so DRK at 1K seems to be a bit unlikely.

There is no pump going on.
Are you sure they are not the same ppl as the Quark & NXT shills ?

Can I decrease the font size of the signature without getting my ass kicked?

Completed your survey and I agree with Hadez maybe an option for miners and traders would be useful. E.g. I never bought any BTC but mined a little and gained some more from trading altcoins.
Good luck with your studies.

Moneropool.com looks good. I miss only one thing from the stats - it would be nice to see the accepted shares and maybe some estimation about the mined coins.
