May be worth all the sellers start using the G-Sensor stickers all over the packages.

Would make the couriers think twice about throwing the thing about -

No offence, but cryptsy is easy to use and trustworthy.

but he's "escrow.dude"  Roll Eyes
2783  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Ungraded 1893-S Morgan Silver Dollar, accepting BTC or other coins on: July 27, 2014, 04:04:01 PM
I don't think I will sell it to anyone here, I don't appreciate the attitude I have been given about it.  I'll either deal with a coin shop directly or put it on ebay.

why not post a pic of it with your username so we can all see what we are missing out on.

Your coin that is, not a similar one listed on ebay.
2784  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTS) 30 Antminers S3 on: July 24, 2014, 04:36:52 PM
Don't forget btc has had a bit of a price drop today.
2785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Want to Buy] Member,Full Member,Sr. Member and Hero Member accounts on: July 22, 2014, 09:40:19 AM
why not just pay senior members for their sig space like many others do rather than buy whole accounts?

Would be cheaper too but then you cant spam and scam  Roll Eyes
2786  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Ungraded 1893-S Morgan Silver Dollar, accepting BTC or other coins on: July 21, 2014, 06:38:42 PM
quiet naive considering these coins could be worth up to 15k as you stated in your first post.

So a pic of the actual coin is pretty important.
2787  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Ungraded 1893-S Morgan Silver Dollar, accepting BTC or other coins on: July 21, 2014, 04:47:43 PM
Time to tag op as a scammer?
I'm not sure if he knows it's fake or not.  But he has it listed on ebay too.

Of course he knows it a fake, otherwise you would grade it and sell for 10X the asking price.

if a deal sounds too good to be true....

could be worth several thousand to 15k+ if I spent a few $ getting it graded but I wont and will take 2.5BTC for it  Roll Eyes

Scam written all over it.
2790  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 1st SpondooliesTech SP10 in the world - 1.5TH on: July 21, 2014, 01:39:51 PM
frustrates the shit out of me why people feel the need to jump in a sale/auction thread then attempt to rip it to bits when they have no intention of buying the goods on offer.

If your not interested dont comment, simple.

Truth usually is unpleasant for most. Plus I'm always interested in some Spond. miners, and fully respect what dogie has done for the.community, but, imo, I feel like this is abusing the status he has gained.. he himself cannot confirm that it was the first ever built yet claims it in the title..

Not talking specifically about this thread.  Happens in most threads these days.

2793  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Metalor 100g 999.9 fine Gold Bar Raffle on: July 20, 2014, 02:21:24 PM
http://www.bitgild.com/100g-gold-bullion-perth-mint-gold-bar-with-certificate.html

7.14BTC for a new one with certificate.
100x0.1 = 10BTC on the raffle, talk about huge profit  Roll Eyes

Ill refer you to my original post -

"I am making a profit on the bar based on current gold/BTC ratio but by the closing date of the raffle who knows where we'll be.

BTC is volatile, would you like to gamble on what the price will be in 1 months time?

International insured and tracked shipping is also included.

Its a bit of fun and a gamble, could win a nice gold bar for 0.1 btc.
2794  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Metalor 100g 999.9 fine Gold Bar Raffle on: July 20, 2014, 02:18:56 PM
open to using anyone trusted, Ognasty for example?

A month is the max time, if the tickets sell in a few days we'll get it done Wink
2795  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Metalor 100g 999.9 fine Gold Bar Raffle on: July 20, 2014, 02:11:19 PM
it's pretty much impossible to to fairly because you can buy your own tickets and also rig the results (not saying you will) but....

By letting trusted escrow members pick a winner from a randomized list removes me from the equation of picking the winner.

By buying my own ticket I increase the risk of not being chosen as a winner reducing the number of real tickets sold and making a loss.

I could upload a password protected zip file of the participants names thats date stamped to a file hosting site.  Then Theymos for example could pick a number between 1 and 100 and everyone is welcome to download that file after I post the password to see who won?

Unless someone can think of a better way of doing it.
2796  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Metalor 100g 999.9 fine Gold Bar Raffle on: July 20, 2014, 02:08:19 PM
Reserved for raffle participant list
2797  Economy / Collectibles / Metalor 100g 999.9 fine Gold Bar Raffle on: July 20, 2014, 02:05:50 PM
Thought I would try something a little different.

Up for raffle is a 100g 999.9 fine Swiss made Metalor gold bar.

Comes complete with Metalor certificate of authenticity and the original bullion dealer receipt so no worries about authenticity.

The bar in the pic is the bar you will get if you win -

Terms :

Total number of tickets : 100
Cost per ticket : 0.1BTC
Deadline : August 30th

If all tickets have not sold by the deadline date funds will be returned.

Transparency

To keep the raffle transparent and fair I propose sending a randomized list of participants to one Escrow provider and allow an independent Escrow provider to pick the winning number.  After which the winner will be contacted for a delivery address.

Payment address for raffle tickets :

16TigtEQgBTArwnETBgcdFxLu6i2inbPZz

Please pm me the transaction I.D and number of tickets purchased.

Please avoid the clone name scammers doing the rounds on the forum and only send to the address listed above!

I am making a profit on the bar based on current gold/BTC ratio but by the closing date of the raffle who knows where we'll be  Smiley

Please keep posts on topic.

2798  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTB. 2012 Casascius Coin on: July 17, 2014, 06:42:17 AM
So why do you think people should trust you enough to send Bitcoin to you?

A member for 2 weeks, zero trade history or trust feedback.
2799  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTB. 2012 Casascius Coin on: July 17, 2014, 06:09:00 AM
No offense Possum577 but for Escrow I would opt for Yankee (BitInstant) every time.

He has a long history on the site and has already completed several Escrow transactions without issue.

Kinda of catch 22 for you, no one will use you due to lack of Escrow History, but you wont get the Escrow history unless someone uses you.
