281  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: September 06, 2016, 12:49:34 PM
I dont think it would be good for you when you are investing into the bitcoin with just one bitcoin because one is just 600 dollar not even enough to live from in one week you know.
it would definitely be good in my opinion, it would allow people to make some decent money in the future, and i think you should put your money into it now

1 btc is good amount to have, but you cannot expect that it will make you millionaire in future as bitcoins will never hold that high value so its better to accumulate more coins for the future.
It can't make you a millionaire for sure. But I think buying altcoins in ICOs can make you more than 1 BTC. ICOs has the tendency to jump high on its first few days. You must sell it quickly as prices foes down after. But you must determine what altcoin has that power to have a good up in price.

Investing in altcoin seems to be the best at a moment as if you choose a coins with lower price and if it pumps then you can make good profits with 1 btc.
282  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 12:48:04 PM
If i find a good job, really worth and have a good futuren on that job for full time on bitcoin, maybe i will think about that, but i need discuss it first with my family about the situation.

i think no stable income in bitcoin, and no 'realjob' at bitcoin except you join a startup linked with bitcoin technology, if you are progamer, im sure you will find good job in bitcoin company.

Yes if you are holding technical skills then you can expect higher income from bitcoins but you need to make  sure that its a permanent job and not short term projects.
That is the problem because we all want some stable income. Apparently, working online cannot deliver that to us because the employer-employee relationship is not really that strong that we can go after our employer, but if you really are going full time then you should learn how to manage your earnings, it is a big challenge buy we can do it.

I think if you want to get full time in bitcoin then you cannot afford to depend on others, as you never know whether they will pay you at the end of the day or not and that makes it really risky.

Assurance that they will pay on that day. In job it is really sure that theyy would pay you unless you are absent whole month then they will not pay you but in bitcoin we cant say that they will pay you. It is very risky we dont know what the people think or what would they do so just to keep safe do bitcoin as a side line and do a fulltime job.

Bitcoin is good but its risky too, as if you are working full time in it as a freelancer then you are not into any face to face agreement with the person you are dealing with, so chances of scams gets higher.

True, if you have a job that  pays   you with bitcoin  its quite a little bit risky thats why  we  need  an escrow or middle man with your funds  and if you are on a freelancing site   please do check the employers profile if he is reputable and  capable enough  to pay you with your job.

User ratings can be manipulated that's not a big deal, but in bitcoin world its really hard to trust someone and that is the main reason people hesitate in getting full time in bitcoin.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: 1,000 bitcoins on: September 06, 2016, 12:44:35 PM
It's hard to believe that newbie bought 1 000 bitcoins. And its even more harder to believe in his words what he wish to do with this coins. I see that nobody believe him, why newbies come here with this kind of suggestions?
I don't know is it just me, but when ever I see some thread like this one, and there is many similar threads, automatically I suspect its a scam. Did anyone send him a PM just to check him?

Even if you PM him he will tell the same story that he is holding 1000 bitcoins in his wallet as here we cannot identify whether he genuinely holds it or not but to be honest its too high amount to think of.
284  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 12:41:03 PM
Hello guys,

how many of you are earning for living just with bitcoin based projects? If some of you do, can you contribute what do you do?

As a student yes im earning my livings from bitcoin. I made more than 8 bitcoin and these are more than enough for me in Pakistan. But as a student, but one can not make full earning like having 3-4 family members in his family. But i know someone who is earning that much amount.
several years ago I graduated from college and before that I've become a bitcoin users and working on bitcoin? yeah I know how hard it is to divide their time between studying, school and work on bitcoin? I think you can not focus on those three things right ?

You both are lucky that you got into bitcoin when you were studying, so that you would not depend on your parents for expenses,  unfortunately I started using bitcoins after completing my studies,  but I am satisfied that finally I am at right place.
285  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 12:38:16 PM
I am gonna start trading soon, i met one guy who know a lot of different ways of trading and other stuff linked with trading so i want to get some experience.

better to start trading now, with low capital, i think 0.01 it's enough for get more experience.
you can start trading at poloniex or bittrex both of them is good market with high volume.

Well that is going to be a good amount and start to your trading career. And that is going to be a good way to become rich with bitcoin. And every time you are going to earn with trading you can just try to invest it again and keep on rolling over it so that in your next trades you are going to earn more than you have earned before.
yeah all started from the beginning, you can start trading with its start from zero. but if small your capital is small probably will need a very long time until you get a big profit? I think starting from scratch does not mean using small capital
Starting a decent amount of capital is needed because that will give you an excitement in trading and for sure you will seriously manage your money in trading, however you need to consider that the decent amount we are talking here is the amount that you can afford to lose.

Indeed the capital is something the main thing in our trading and also to give rise to profit. But the capital is not having a good effect when we don't have a strategy, knowledge or science of trading. So, the main thing we must have is a strategy and a knowledge or science. If it we can indulge then the capital that we have will definitely increased and it gives us an advantage

If you hold huge capital to invest but without knowledge it is useless, as you will definitely loose your money if you invest in trading, knowledge and skills are  mandatory in trading.

A huge amount should always be devided into several investments in very different forms. Gold, crypto, stocks, dollar, houses and so on.
I think it would be better if you could just focus on some investment? because believe it or not it will make you more profitable because you can focus on one or two investments alone. I do not think that you can focus with a lot of investment dude ?

If you want to minimize the risk for future then you have to focus on your investments, and as you are putting your money into you will actively monitor all your investments to avoid losses.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a good way to store money? on: September 06, 2016, 12:32:16 PM
Bitcoin is just a good way to invest your money?
Or we can also store our money there, if the price stay stable?
What do you thing about this?

Already doing it like a storage of my excess funds from my salary. But still whenever I am kreping a lot, something will come up that makes me withdraw some. Though it is still profitable even if it didnt stay for a long time.
I think it would be impossible for bitcoin to be stable on their prices? I think that makes a lot of people interested in bitcoin is because bitcoin has fluctuations that can make many people benefit in a short time. but my advice is one thing. do not invest or use all of your money in bitcoin

Price fluctuation is a best source to make quick profits and most of the user are taking advantage of it and if price gets stable then traders will not love to see that.
287  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 12:30:35 PM
Why only 2106 is the year of bitcoin, could not be the coming time of bitcoin only?
well to be honest every year is the year of bitcoin and in my opinion in the future it is going to become really huge and i hope that it will make me profit
well not really. since in 2014 it was some hundred percent down over the course of a year and in 2015 it was almost all year long going sideways.
every year is a year of bitcoin because it makes the technology bigger and bigger with time, i hope that it will make me some big profit

Yeah bitcoin is getting better and better as time passes and we have witnessed some great price in this year which exactly opposite to the last year, and year has not ended yet, we may see some more exciting news in coming months.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 06, 2016, 12:29:01 PM
I think it's possible theoretically only. People are not ready to stop using banks. Peer-to-peer system is like something mythical to them.
It is possible for Bitcoin to take over a bank but to be honestly think that the change of that happening are almost at zero.
The chance us bigger that Bitcoin would be taken over by a bank.

You are wrong as bank do not work only to save and transact our money , only in some duties bitcoin will replace banks while in all other duties which bans have will remain with banks and for that banks will survive.
thats true, they are working to make profit out of the money that you actually put into banks, i hope that bitcoin will make banks disappear

I don't see it happening in future, bitcoin will give tough competition to banks and it may reduce the number of customers of bank but it cannot make them disappear.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: September 06, 2016, 12:26:58 PM
Isn't it alreday an international currency? I think it is. Since people around the world begun to use it it has begun global, international currency. Today I think it is used on all continents. Will it be officialy recognized as such, that is another question.

You are right it is already an international currency as we are seeing that none of the country is its owner and all over the world this currency can be used and people use this currency for their international transactions etc.
I do believe op is asking when it will be recognized by the others currencies, and not asking about when bitcoin will become international. Its already international as we send and receive payments from others and the most arent from the same country.
well i think not a lot of time left till that and i think that it will make me some decent money in the future because it is going to be used by nearly all people
[/quote

Its hard to believe that everyone will start using it in future but one thing is sure that if you are using it then you will definitely make good money from it in future.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: September 04, 2016, 10:10:29 AM
Now back to zero after saving up to 0.2btc but lost everything by falling to a scam in the process of converting to FIAT, now I have to start all over again...
Lol why did not convert in the famous exchange sites like bit-x, the BTC-e and so forth? do not make of exchange with someone who is not you know?

In that case I am very lucky that I never faced security issue while converting it to fiat, as I am doing it on localbitcoins since last 2 years but I never got scammed there.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 04, 2016, 10:08:43 AM
in my opinion to is get profit in better amount is that you should hold btc for a log amd and then sell it for your profit with increase price . in this way we can get profit with small risk .
The question is when the best time to sell , and if you have big amount in your balances , it doesn't matter as long as you can divided your balances into different source . But , hold it for the few years without spending , it's lazy way to earn for me.

Holding is not a bad way unless you have some other sources for earning as well and those ways must be increasing your held bitcoins, but if you just have some bitcoins and doing nothing but just holding them then that is really not a good decision.

Yeah and to make profits from only holding you need to wait for a long time as you never know when price will g o higher, so its good to trade with them to get regular profits and also to increase the level of coins.

But trading is also high risk until you dont have good bankroll, you can do is giving your skills for bitcoin payment and like this you will start to earning bitcoins and you can save big and even do some investment of holding them.

Holding is safe but not profitable, if can give you good profits only if price goes higher but the number of coins will be the same it will not grow by holding, even if you trade with small amount it can increase the level of your coins slowly and steadily.
292  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 04, 2016, 10:06:50 AM
It's an interesting possibility, if this can give you the opportunity to work in the internet business field, using Bitcoin at the same time. But I don't know if this could really work as a main job.
I think it might be done. there are many successful people just from working on bitcoin or internet? why do not you try it? but make sure that you do not have any work. if I have a job I'm certainly not going to work full time

People who are full time in bitcoin have invested huge capital, and they are making good profits in trading, but if  you don't have higher capital to invest then never think of getting full time in bitcoins.
yes mate if you have good insights and you have skills to read coins movement it is just need to spare more time to study those strategy so you can earn a lot with your capital but you are correct having big investment will allow you to gain more and let you go full time with bitcoin.

Yeah if you have high capital then you can expect good profits even from small fluctuations, and if your investment is lower then even profits will be lower.
293  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: September 04, 2016, 10:02:44 AM
In my country people are so dum tht they see bitcoin as a ghost. Well inm ountryilltracy rate is low but thans to our government that the kids who don't evn know how to write their names get passed in exams huh
Lol it means that people in the country knew about bitcoin? because they think that bitcoin is similar to a ghost? different from the country. only a few people know about bitcoin

Yeah there are not many people who are involved in bitcoins at a moment as most of them have not heard about it and some of them  are not interested in investing their money in it.
294  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: September 04, 2016, 09:59:08 AM
Surely I could accept some of it in Bitcoin as well. There are people who complain about the volatility, but it has been much worse in the past, and has improved over the years.
and I believe it will improve more and more in future.. I am willing to accept a small part of my salary in bitcoin as my saving. because I believe bitcoin is perfect for save your money.
I can't accept all my salary in bitcoin because leter I need to exchange them into fiat again to purchase my daily necessary things.

So do you think that your company will pay you small part of your salary in bitcoins? I don't think so and if ultimately you are gonna convert to fiat then there is no point in accepting salary in bitcoins.

He is saying that he would just accept a small part of his salary as bitcoins not all because he needs to buy things with fiat so he cannot take all the salary in bitcoins, but i also think that wont be possible as if the company pays you in bitcoin then it will pay the total salary in that but not in different currencies, so if someone wants to get bitcoins too they would have to buy them after getting the salary or just convert the bitcoins to fiat after getting them from the company.

Well if you are getting your salary in bitcoins and at the end of the day if you have to convert it to fiat then it doesn't make any sense as if price goes lower in future then it will reduce your income.
295  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 04, 2016, 09:55:10 AM
I use Bitcoin for investment but when ever i am in need of fiat currency i jst convert it to fiat currency and meet my family expenses. But most of them i am keeping as investment as i know that one day i will be rich with bitcoin investment.

Majority of coins should be kept for investment purpose as there no more scope for bitcoins to be used as a currency at physical places, but if you have an emergency then you can convert it to fiat.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin worst decision you will ever make? on: September 04, 2016, 09:52:15 AM
My worst decision was playing in bustabit.com site and then playing in dice game and losing most of the coins, after that i found one of the script in bustabit and recovered the lost bitcoin, and now only doing sports betting as i have some knowledge about cricket and by following my instinct i have made a good profit.

Can i know where i can do betting on cricket? I want to give it a try because i love cricket and has quite a good knowledge about it so i guess i can be able to make some good predictions about the matches coming up.

Gambling is not suggested but you can bet on directbet.eu its the best live sports betting site and you don't have to create a account or make initial deposits, you can directly send your bets to their btc address, and if you win they will do the same.
297  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: September 04, 2016, 09:49:50 AM
My least favorite thing about bitcoin is that it cannot be used anywhere for shopping offline, and even online problem is creating a problem for me due to high shipping costs.
298  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: September 04, 2016, 09:48:12 AM
I don't spend much of it, at least not in the conventional daily expenses. Instead, I'm saving most part of it in a safe wallet, since there are not too many places to spend it where I live.

theer are some online shops from where you can buy good for your real life with bitcoin, like purse and shopawl at there you can also order things from amazon and ebay etc.

Though there are online shops that lets you shop with your bitcoins but the shipping fees are really high most of the times for some countries and that is a big reason why some people even me don't dare to buy anything from there because i will have to fee more money for fees than the price of that thing.

Exactly and if shipping costs are higher then it will not be a profitable purchase to make, and people will prefer to buy from local sites using credit card or by cash.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If one day BTC cannot be traded for cash, what will you do? on: September 04, 2016, 09:46:22 AM
If you worry about this, then you surely don`t get the whole idea of bitcoin revolution and what decentralized means. At the end, we hope bitcoin won`t be exchanged for something at all. I hope this makes sense.  Wink

The thread title isn't related to Bitcoin being decentralized. Maybe it's better to put it this way; If your government forces through a total ban for Bitcoin to fiat conversions, what would you do?

If that would happen then I don't think people will continue with bitcoins, as we only have one option to spend our coins by converting it to cash, and if that is stopped then it will be an end of bitcoins.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 03, 2016, 02:20:25 PM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

Obviously not, there are already a lot of coins with different values even higher then what you mentioned about what if bitcoin would have been and they are not as popular as bitcoin because bitcoin has increased its user database by the growth of its price otherwise it wouldn't have been so popular in the world and it grows that is why it attracts people.
We cannot say that bitcoin is very popular at a moment and it has reached everywhere but its gaining popularity and many new people are joining the community which is really a good sign.
