yes, true. the price went up in total so far. there was the halving and you forgot to mention the bitfinex hack, which was a big event and have its place in bitcoin history. 2015 might be still considered a big (maybe bigger) year since the fall of the price finally stopped and bitcoin started rising again, which i consider as big. |

Well, it's definitely possible to see the market come back in its volatile form again this year, but don't expect miracles. The price won't jump to much higher price levels than we are at right now. I don't think it's enough for the price to touch $700 this year, but a price above $600 is quite realistic. |

As far as price is concerned till this month, bitcoin nailed it.
And prices are further expected to increase and I hope this year will take bitcoin to new heights.

Its always happening if you seen the old graph the price of bitcoin is not staying at this present price i think it will be the same last month that the price will increase in november and december.. |

Sometimes I have some doubts if this will be the year of the bitcoin, but I truly have some hope that it will rise to a higher level this year and that it will be the year of the Bitcoin.

Sometimes I have some doubts if this will be the year of the bitcoin, but I truly have some hope that it will rise to a higher level this year and that it will be the year of the Bitcoin.
If your definition of "The Year Of Bitcoin" is price related, then the near collision with the $800 price level in June makes it exactly that. The price won't go higher than that anymore this year. Don't wait for something that isn't going to happen. |

As most surely can see, there are only a few more months away, but we know that many things can happen in the crypto space even in such period of time. I would be really happy to see bitcoin making some more positive moves before that the year is out.
In just my own speculation bitcoin prive will spike this holidays. For many will be using it and will make a good circulation for it. We know that with holidays we are spending more than keeping. |

The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.
People say this every year. If it was to break into the mainstream it wont be next year. Maybe in 3-5 years but not any time soon. Bitcoin has been moving very slow for over a year now and unless some massive corporation or industry gets on board it'll probably be another slow year. I have not seen anything special happening this year so I do not think that this is going to be the year of the Bitcoin unless the value reaches $1000. If that happens at the end of the year I can consider it the year of the Bitcoin. |

I agree with this, however, there is only so high bitcoin will go when it comes to being a valued currency. If bitcoin would reach 10,000 USD people would not take it seriously when it came to the markets. Now when it is showing that there is some form of stability in the system, more people will believe stronger in bitcoin instead of thinking it is a scam or a waste waiting for it to collapse. |
