281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone earn any BAT with Brave Ads? on: August 09, 2019, 06:38:08 AM
I see all of you are downloading Brave browser because of the giveaway. I don't believe in that. I believe in quality of the browser and Brave browser is not impressive to me at all. I cannot continue using it just to earn peanuts in form of BAT.

I've been using Brave on my iPhone for a long time now. I have ditched Safari for it & believe me, it's one of the best browsers that I have tried & I stuck with it.
I'm not earning any BAT tokens by using it & I couldn't care less but it is a quality browser.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GPUs are now been created for Gaming purposes not Crypto Mining on: August 08, 2019, 10:25:52 AM
If you take a visit down the memory lane, the GPU mining boom & drop was always medium lived.
First, at the time of Litecoin, there was a sudden boom in GPU mining because it was very lucrative at the time but this also meant people with great funds are going to invest large sums for specialized hardware for getting an edge over the mining game, thus making GPUs obsolete which eventually lead to downfall.
Then came the Ethereum, with a similar timeline as Litecoin, people started buying GPUs in bulk, demand creates its own supply, thus ridiculous price increase due to it.
When the dust settled as it is now, the second-hand market is flooded with GPUs as the majority are trying to break even for their expenditure by selling the hardware & GPU Manufacturing companies know now, that the main target group which always has been the same - "Gamers" and so most of the new features in newly released GPUs are boasted for Gamers, which makes sense.

hello on the snowgem wallet is the coin bitzec supported?

As of now, it doesn't support any coin except for SnowGem but it is a planned feature for the future.

i have two similar gpu's but hashrate shows only for gpu0
total hashrate is correct

Hello Casper!

Join their Discord and ask in there. They are very responsive and maybe you will enlight you in your matter.

it's not a big problem, just wondering why so
eggpool, 2x1080ti

In the image, it is showing the hashrate for both of the GPUs.
Anyway, your GPU0 seems to be consuming more power (+100W) for less hashrate when compared to GPU1.
Did you configure GPU0 same as GPU1?
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: August 07, 2019, 02:17:07 AM
Guys we gave proble, Here withn changing algo to randomX, another coin switched to same algo (Loki->RandomLoki) and 1-2-3 workers have 13mh+ and they named as RealBitmain , so, is somebody joke ot its real asic/fpga here now?Huh You can see them at  https://loki.mine2gether.com/#workers

Don't worry. Monero Team has been known to hold decentralization for mining and they are doing everything they can to phase out ASICs/FPGAs from the network.
It's good that some coins similar to Monero like Loki have migrated to RandomX algorithm which obviously provides a ground where Monero team can see which difficulties they may face for it. So, believe in them. They have done right in the past & they surely will do in the future too.

Which pool are you using?
Can you post a screenshot for the miner?
Which GPUs are you using?

288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is an RX580 rig the best for mining Etherium at high electricity cost? on: August 04, 2019, 06:09:25 AM
As of now, I've seen a lot of GPUs flooding in the second-hand market, majority RX470s & 570s.
They usually go for $50-$80 which is not at all bad considering the break-even will be in a few months with that price point.
If properly tweaked, it will consume around 70W for 30 MH/s which is quite good.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A new setup for Monero mining on: August 02, 2019, 08:36:43 AM
There is some ventilation and currently Rx GPUs stay in late 60s or early 70s when outside is 90s.
Ideally would like to just replace the exiting CPU and motherboard and do same rig for both Monero and Eth mining. It seems some of the 570 motherboards have PCIE 3.0 slots. So hopefully it could take the radeon GPUs

You do not need to worry about PCIE 3.0 or 4.0 revision. They are back compatible with older revisions, so it won't be a problem and the GPUs will work just fine.
It's a good idea to club them in one & utilize it both for CPU & GPU Mining.
Anyway, if the cards are pretty old then I'll recommend replacing thermal paste of them at it will make a huge difference in temps.
My 6x RX 580 rig was at 65-70 C temps and they were active for a year or so, then I recently replaced the TPM of all the cards one by one & now they are at 55-60 C temps.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A new setup for Monero mining on: July 30, 2019, 06:41:07 AM
Just make sure to have enough airflow in the room where you have your rigs.
No matter how big of a mining operation you handle, if the air in the room can be completed exchanged with the outside air in 30s or so by having adequate CFM fans for in and out. You'll be fine.
Air conditioning is the way to lose money & not at all required.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8 - RX580's - Windows 10 Occasionally freezes before login screen on: July 28, 2019, 07:45:14 AM
Get Windows 10 LTSC latest version with latest AMD drivers and give it a try.
I'm running 8x RX580 with Asus B250 Mining Expert Motherboard & they work perfectly.
Finding the sweet spot for all the cards can be a pain in the beginning but once you figure out what works the best. They are going to be stable.
If you are still not happy with the stability, then switch to Linux.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: most profitable oc settings for etc/eth with rx580 8gig on: July 20, 2019, 06:44:07 AM
Hi, i have alittle farm with 50 AMD RX580 8gig, so i have a question, whats the most profitable oc settings for them gpu?
by that i mean, what will give me most hash, for each watt i use

Anyone??

Reduce core clock as much as you can without affecting hash rates.
Then increase memory clock until you hit memory errors.
Then reduce core & memory volts until the GPU gets unresponsive/unstable.
That's how you'll get the sweet spot for your GPUs.
Each & every card is different even if they are identical. So, tune accordingly.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.8.9 - native algo switching on: June 20, 2019, 09:32:06 AM
I am not even coming close to 10:)) 4 for doable it seems alot of rigs running 4 pretty much stable since i remote control the miners by awesome miner maybe a simple reboot Will do the fix

What is the power consumption for the Vega rig? How much is one GPU consuming through the wall?
My 6x VEGA 56 Rig is doing 12000 H/s (v4 monero) with 1500W from the wall.
Isn't it much? In the previous algo it used to consume 1250-1300W from the wall for the same hashrate.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone know of a service that provides android and ios wallets for your altcoin on: June 17, 2019, 08:00:23 AM
The best and most reliable mobile wallet is coinomi wallet ,its available on iOS and android and it supports many altcoins especially the top100 altcoins ,erc20 tokens are supported even Coinomi has announced its partnership with Binance DEX in a move that would see them provide support for the BNB token.

They are not asking for a mobile wallet for DASH.
They are asking for a developer who knows how to build a mobile wallet for their alt-coin which is based on DASH.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone know of a service that provides android and ios wallets for your altcoin on: June 17, 2019, 07:53:15 AM
Request for this in the service section.
There will be plenty of people who can help you with it.
Just be clear with the terms and provide an incentive for the same.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Cast XMR] high speed XMR/CryptoNight miner for RX Vega GPUs (2 KHash/s) on: June 17, 2019, 07:47:59 AM
Hello there People. I Need a bit of help.
Switched from Windows to Linux, Linux Mint 19.1 that is.

Can anyone Show me how i can use Cast XMR under Linux ?
On the sources page there is
source code.zip and a
source code .tar.gz

But These files have a single 5 Kilo MD file in them.
That cant be it.
I havent found any tutorials anywhere, as if everyone allready knows how it can be used under Linux.

I Need some help, and i dont know where else to ask.
Any help is much appreciated.

Download the already compiled miner file from here:
https://github.com/glph3k/cast_xmr/releases
Look for cast_xmr-vega-ubuntu_171.tar.gz
Download it, unzip it and run the miner using a terminal with proper parameters.

tnx guys
now i get 33.3 per card Grin

Is it stable?
I have hynix memory RX580 cards.
Even at best settings, I'm getting  32MH/s per card but they are unstable, crashes after an hour or two.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 PIA Coin Trading with +318.22% on BW. Any Other Coin Achieved This? 🔥🔥 on: June 15, 2019, 07:34:04 AM
Small-cap coins are easy to manipulate in this way.
It only took 75 BTC volume of PIA to do +500%.
Many small-cap coins did +1000% - +2000% in 2017-18 at the time of a bull run.
Eventually, the majority of them are worthless now.

I see. But it is still trading with +446.7%

Ain't that the perfect time to buy the coin? They have their dapps running and mainnet ready thats why I am feeling to buy it.

The perfect time to buy a coin is before the bull run and then selling it back at the peak. That's how to do it.
Anyway, I don't know much about this project and I don't have any advice to give regarding it.
Do it at your own risk.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin mining 2019 arm64 architecture on: June 15, 2019, 07:29:04 AM
On arm64 i see about 50 h/s some cents at month, for now the best is arionium for arm64, do you know also any other coins more profitable?

Mobile phones are not built for coin mining. There is no way, you'll be able to net profit by doing it.
I'll suggest not doing it if it actually puts stress to the smartphone's CPU.
Anyway, I did try to mine a mobile coin in the past, which is:

If you are a not a programmer, then there is only one way for you to get bitstreams, is to contact someone from the forum who have already worked with FPGA and ask from them which they won't sell for free.
FPGA(s) have ridiculous high hashrate with very low power consumptions but requires a great deal of programming knowledge to get them to work, not even easily accessible to purchase.

A thread that I follow regarding FPGA:
