For the full story check out my YouTube video : BREAKING NEWS: Bitcoin takes a HUGE dip, Regulation becomes a concern and MUCH MORE! What do you guys think about the recent events of China, Korea, Coinbase international wires, and bitconnect possibly exit scamming? Lots of regulation in the news, which is scary in some aspects. However, I believe this is all just FUD and will go back up as it has many different times. It is good to point out ( if you are new to cryptocurrency ) that China has "banned" bitcoin many different times at its peak. Such as $30,300 etc $30,300? When was bitcoin ever at that price? Most of the problem of the last week was simply FUD, crackdowns are obviously damaging but not nearly as much as was suggested in the market. Regulation can be seen as a good thing to prevent any major issues in the long term, it may limit the market slightly but it makes it a much safer and stable market.

Bitcoin is at $10,000 and shops/stores gets $50,000 payments in Bitcoin and after that if Bitcoin price falls to $5,000. Shops/stores will lose $25,000. Will people take Bitcoin payments for goods and services ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) It's one of the biggest stumbling blocks for bitcoin, to be used in that way it needs stability. I don't think bitcoin will ever be used in that way, it can either replace a currency in a country entirely in which case the price fluctuations would only effect transactions outside their country, or it can be used in such a way where it is converted to fiat immediately at the time of the transaction.

See? He made announcement (the price drops). He bought BTC! And look at now? He gains a lot. Influential people can dictate BTC price.
Really it wouldn't be surprising, I hope the south korean government investigate him. He effectively twisted the words and intentions of the government, whether for his own personal gain or not remains to be seen but either way it certainly shows a level of incompetence on his part.

Looking on GDAX
ATH = 19800$
BTC always corrected around 40%
19800 - 40% = 11880 - Thank me later.
Buy in on 11880 and you will win against whales.
Why it will hold - just greedy people need to lose all on alts. I was telling CRYPTO CAN"T LIVE WITHOUT BITCOIN. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE AT THIS STAGE. UNTIL PEOPLE WON"T SELL ALL ALTS - EVERYTHING WILL BE GOING DOWN.
IT IS SO SIMPLE - you got to much alts, btc dom went so low that you couldn't buy more alts with it - there was none of it on the market.
1. Big last hope support 2. Bigger crash = investors will run away = end of bitcoin 3. Whales didn't sell !!! - and they know 10 times more than us
I paniced few times - but now it is just simple
Just lookout - fud will be everywhere to make u sell lower
To be sure I predict HUGE BUY WALLS on 11800 - just look for them.
11800 = mathematical/logical barrier
10000 = psychological barrier
Will see which one will win
GL and God bless
Well 11800 was broken but it does seem like there's a lot of support in the 11k region, expecting to see the price settle around 12-13k in the next day or two before making a slow climb back up. Let's remember that after the last major crash bitcoin recovered in only a matter of days once things settled down.

personally I am not surprised of this big cut in only one day. I think the right price of one btc is around 10k $ . Price are already to high for a lot of altconis, maybe another dump it's probable in the next days.
This is going to be fine in just a few days from now, i do not understand why a lot of people are creating "possible" scenarios for bitcoin in the next few days. Everything is fine, this current FUD is just a temporary one, and this will end at some point. Just relax, do not sell anything, and everything will be fine soon Anyone selling right now is only acting out of FUD, even in the worst case scenario bitcoin should be priced at around $10k right now, it really shouldn't be any lower and any lower is really quite ridiculous. $20k came too soon, that was evident at the time and that combined with all of the latest developments and FUD has been enough to cause this crash. Similar thing with the alt pump, it all went too far. This crash has now gone too far and a recovery to somewhere in between seems inevitable.

They have announced today that they will now be listed on Next exchange, i personally have not used that exchange i hope it will be good. What about apps on the apple? and any news about exchanges? ETN deserves to be on the best exchanges
we have not received news about the exchange. I do not understand, is it difficult to add a token to binance? Yes, it's very hard to get added to exchanges now. a few years back anyone could get a coin on Bittrex, but now it takes alot of work. Im sure if we have patience, well see good things soon. Any exchange is difficult, tier 2 exchanges like binance, kucoin etc are feasible for electroneum right now, exchanges like bittrex are probably out of reach, they seem to list 1 or 2 a month at most and I don't think that will change until they can sort out their scaling issues.

Check out Cashaa, their token sale has ended and it will be trading soon, ICO price was 10 cents. Expecting to see it being a $2+ coin by the end of 2018, probably higher.

With the reason Paccoin and TRX burst, it sets some bad expectations for people that they can expect to 10x their money overnight. You gotta get kind of lucky, but there's also some patterns. I'm going to shill KIN super hard here and completely ignore the technology because there's a better reasons to go for it.
First of all, the psychology in like 90% of investors is cheap coins = more room to grow. They don't understand market cap and more importantly, they think 1 cent changes absolutely nothing. Let's say you have money in XRB at $28 and some money in TRX at 10 cents. When TRX goes to 11 cents, that same amount of percentage gain on XRB would require it going from $28 to $30.80. It's 10% regardless.
I'm not saying this is GOOD investing, it's not, however, you have to know your audience and use that to your advantage. KIN is currently .001305 of a cent. If KIN reaches 1 cent, you've almost 10x'd () your money. Here's the crazy part:
Let's say you invest in some safer options, XRB, VEN,IOTA, XLM. You make 30% over the course of a month, congratulations.
You can throw darts at projects like Kin and miss 9 times before it balances out.
$1,000 into XLM for 1 month = $1,300 $100 into 10 shitcoins. 9 completely tank to 20% of the value you bought at (which will never happen either), but 1 10x's. Congrats, you're still at $1,300. Now what happens if 2 of them 10x? What happens when you get lucky and get in on Paccoin and you 20x?
Use math and psychology to your advantage. KIN may actually be a good product (kids and buying emojis is pretty profitable, ask Zynga and Clash of Clans), but even if it sucks, the math checks out.
Also, with Binance closed to new users, Mercatrox may get more and more population, raising the price even more.
Now go hurry up, I've made 10% while typing this post.
What you're basically advocating is to invest in everything, while on initial impressions it seems like a really awful strategy when you actually look at crypto historically it seems to check out, I think it's just a sign of how bullish the overall market is.

If not for the shitty bounty program, I think the price of ATS would have reached what the dev team wanted already. I am glad that they still keep on moving. As long as the team is working hard, the price will go up in the end.
You're probably right in that one, anyone saying though that ATS can be listed on bittrex anytime soon is surely mistaken though, they've got no where near enough volume for bittrex to even consider them, much better projects and much more profitable projects for bittrex are out there.

Where can I buy Tron? Anyone tried Mercatox ?
I purchased it on binance, go check out their page at coinmarketcap to see what exchanges they are trading on and hopefully for you you already have an account with one of them. If not I would choose binance, it's a really nice exchange. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tron/

Ethereum system is quite terrible now in terms of pending transactions. There are over 25k TX waiting in the queue for 2 days.
It is impossible to process under 40 gwei and this is very expensive for token transfers.
What is the cause of it? Again those kitties or something else?
When will it become normal again?
I think there's no particular reason for it, just a large number of transactions being processed in terms of trades etc. Hopefully it can be resolved soon, such things are never sustainable and fortunately solutions are in the pipeline for ethereum and bitcoin, they really can't come soon enough.

I'm having a difficult time in trusting any of these online exchanges, what is to keep them from pulling out and doing an exit scam? The solution seems to be physical wallets like the Ledger or Trezor, but what is to keep the developers from putting a backdoor into the software that drains all coin once it reaches a certain amount, or to take fractions of a coin without leaving a history of such? If only have 1-2k in it thats not a gigantic hit, but lets say you have millions in coin. Is there nothing more secure one could do?
I mean other than the fact that it's highly illegal and they'll like be sent to jail for a very long time for fraud - pretty much nothing. Oh also the fact that they make an absolute fortune already so is there really any need? Exchanges biggest threat is being hacked, the likelihood of them combusting of their own doing is far less likely and would only really occur with some malpractice.
|
|
|
Seems like it has been disable for a few days. Is this normal?
It's normal for bittrex to distable withdrawals/deposits as they undergo maintenance, it often happens when a coin is pumping hard and there's a lot of transactions for it, it causes things to get overloaded. Just wait and they'll open it up again.

What is your target on Bitcoin when the price rise to $20000?
It looks like it could happen in the next week or so as bitcoin is gaining some momentum. I would be content if it takes another few months, for me there is no rush for bitcoin to pump.

|
Kindly share your thoughts guys. Is this the right time to buy And hold or not? Causes i have doubts maybe this is another bull trap Again . I need Some suggestions about this rising moment Of bitcoin Guys.
I think it was the right time when the price was around 13k, still isn't a bad entry point but you may have to hold longer to see returns. I would say that in time bitcoin will almost certainly go over 20k.

Somebody dropped 60K coins at once earlier today, killing the price from 55K satoshis to 40K.
Do you think it's a good time to enter the market and profit on price recover?
What will happen when the airdrops are finally finished? This is always the thing that has concerned me with deep onion, will we not then see a huge crash in the price?

With bitcoin low, some alts are dancing like crazy when you compare them vs btc and not vs usd. So my question is .... is it really that smart to buy alts with bitcoin now, if or not if when bitcoin starts to move upwards again wont alts go down like crazy ?? Or is it worth taking a chance on something and hope for the best? PS! I'm trying to accumulate BTC not dollars ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) It's certainly risky based on what you said and if bitcoin starts making some movement I would be quick to close any positions you have. I've seen it already when bitcoin went up 10% or so the other day, many alts crashed by about 20% in that time as people rush to get money in to bitcoin. It sounds like you understand how the markets move so you should be okay.

WHat do you think? I think they want to kill XRP and boost BTC again. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FPG2AbNW.png&t=663&c=bhdEABAZsYHaeA) I don't see how a dodgy prediction will really influence the prices of bitcoin or XRP. I do suspect ripple will suffer in the future, I feel like it's pumped too much currently. In time bitcoin will enjoy success again but I also don't see why bitcoin and XRP can't both enjoy price increases.
