281  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: December 20, 2015, 05:37:19 PM
I cna't get being used that the fees are so low.
Every transaction you safe so much on fees. Be it a purchase or simple trade, I earn a lot on not paying these ridiculous fees the banks charges us.

The fees are the main reason to use bitcoin. If just people were aware of this, banks would have no reason to exist anymore, or they would adapt their fees right away.
Remember the moment you know how to use bitcoin and experience the control you have, you will never stop using bitcoin..

Low fees and low transaction costs are the main reasons why people are attracted towards bitcoins, as it is comparatively very low as compared to banks or western union where they charge heavily on their customers, it was monopoly for bank and exchanges but with the existence of bitcoins it has lowered down their customer base and people are turning toward bitcoins as the fees are too low.
282  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: December 20, 2015, 05:27:18 PM
2016 a lot of new companies and investors will step in. Bitcoin has shown good progress and after the negative PR we are still here and yes Bitcoin is here to stay.
With such big volumes it is clearly a positive message send out..

That's true and yes adoption will also play a key role in the success or failure of bitcoins in year 2016 as if the adoption level reaches to a new level then it can bring a revolution in the coming year and more and more people start knowing about the bitcoins will create a positive impact on bitcoins and surely it would reach to a next level the only thing we need is that bitcoins should be promoted in the best possible way.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you prefer your money to be in cash or bitcoins? on: December 20, 2015, 05:18:16 PM
The price of bitcoin is regularly fluctuating, so you might get $100 worth of bitcoins now, $50 or $200 worth of bitcoins tomorrow, who knows? So, do you prefer a currency that is more stable, like cash (USD, EUR...), or do you treat bitcoins as a currency, for investment to let it grow?

State why you prefer your option. Smiley

for investment, i prefer holding bitcoin than cash.
more safety & easy to control with our own bank (wallet) and the value growing faster than cash too

Yeah that is correct thing to do, As if you have your money in bitcoins then you have total control over it and no one else can control it and the best advantage to hold money in bitcoins is that you can carry n number of bitcoins in your digital wallet and no one would be aware that how much money you are carrying especially when you are travelling abroad as carrying cash has certain limitations while bitcoins gives us that freedom.

Reward-Drop ETA date: 07-22-2016 23:49:22

The Bitcoin block mining reward halves every 210,000 blocks, the coin reward will decrease from 25 to 12.5 coins.

this is make bitcoin "rare" for miner  Roll Eyes

It's gonna be do or die after the halving. Logically, the price should go up, but if this isn't the case and it holds the miners in a negative ROI for too long, the whole ecosystem might tumble.

Let's hope that doesn't happen. Smiley

Yeah what you are saying is absolutely correct, I hope that 2016 would be the year for bitcoins and also for the users of bitcoins as we have waited too long that bitcoins reaches to a new level and give us positive returns in the future and we hope that we have reached to that period.
285  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: December 02, 2015, 09:08:46 AM
Nope not yet but I'm definitely working on it.

I will get there one day, I'll just keep working on it until I do

Same with me right now, I haven't reached my 1 BTC yet (though I can buy it with fiat but I want my bTC to be hard earned). I am almost getting there, currently I got ~0.4 BTC but I am spending some if necessary, will take me a long time I guess to reach my goal.

Slow n Steady wins the race.. that's the good thing to do to work hard to earn your bitcoins rather then buying it or earn it by gambling, if you earn it by gambling that would make you more greedy and you would try to get more bitcoins but at the end you would turn up loosing so its better you earn it in a ethical way.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New to bitcoin. What is most popular bitcoin wallet in the world? on: December 02, 2015, 09:05:16 AM
Bitcoin Core is the easiest wallet to start out with. It stores all your Bitcoins on your local computer.

I dont agree with the Bitcoin Core as easiest wallet to start out with, because you need to sync (few days for single core CPU) and download around 60 GB. Much easier is Electrum where you dont need to download and sync full blockchain.

are there still problem in downloading 60gb in 2016? i don't think so, if he live in the usa or any advance country, you can do it in few hours, then you do a backup of the blockchain so you don't need to do it again the enxt time(at least it will sync faster)

newbie can use multibit for small amount, but for greater amount i prefer core, for mobile the popular is Mycelium

Multibit is good for those who are holding multiple accounts but I prefer to go for localbitcoins wallet as it is very much safe and can be helpful when you need to convert your btc to your local currency so I would prefer localbitcoins wallet, multibit is also safe but if you want to convert it to fiat you need to transfer your btc to localbitcoins.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What excites you the most about bitcoin during this year? on: December 02, 2015, 09:01:28 AM
I would say the chinese Bump was the most exciting thing this year , unexpected profit's are always welcomed.

Yeah and some more surprises are waiting for us for the year 2016 and the best thing would be that bitcoin crosses $1k and that is the dream that we all are wishing to be true and I hope that it has lots to offer us in the coming year and we hope that it gets on the mainstream and more and more people starts using bitcoins.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a waste of time mentioning Bitcoin to friends and family? on: November 22, 2015, 09:09:55 PM
its not a waste because mentioning it might get them interested

Exactly! Even though I had many unsuccessful tries to introduce Bitcoin to the new people, these failures shouldn't prevent us to keep spreading the word about this amazing technology.

This is the only way that we can reach another level in the user adoption! Yes it's hard work, but the Rome wasn't built in a day!

Yes we need to keep on trying and insists them to use bitcoins atleast once, if they look at the positive side of bitcoins and the benefits it is offering us, they would surely start using or even if they don't use they would buy few bitcoins and keep it safe for the future if we make aware them this could be best investment product in the future.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use fiat to buy things on Amazon.com? on: November 22, 2015, 09:04:07 PM
I still use fiat to buy things on Amazon.com. It is still quite convenient for me to use fiat. I use bitcoin to buy electrical goods on other sites.

Yeah, even I use fiat to buy things on Amazon.com but I also check the price of bitcoins on that particular day, if the price of bitcoin is low then I make payment with bitcoins, and the the price of bitcoin is high, I use fiat currency to make a payment, its better to shop looking at the price of bitcoin on that particular day  Grin
290  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: November 22, 2015, 08:50:16 PM
For me, Bitcoin is best way to send money worldwide. It is fastest and cheapest way to do that. Also, i like idea of money which is not backed by debt, and owned by users.

Yeah even I use bitcoins for transferring money online as it is far better then Western Union as money is transferred by just a click and you don't have to pay heavy fees for transactions, and it is time saving and very fast transactions, and if I have to gamble I gamble with bitcoins as it allows you to gamble even in small amounts.
291  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: November 22, 2015, 08:43:58 PM
thers so many arguments occuring in this thread lol  Roll Eyes Huh

but to answer op's question yes i currently own more than 1 btc . 2.3 to be exact Grin, looking forward to getting upto21.

21 bitcoin is a very nice target. No more than 1 million people in the world can have more than 21 bitcoin. In deed if you have 21 bitcoin, you should be some where around 50 thousand. Majority people will have few than 10 bitcoin.
At present, 21 bitcoin costs less than $7,000. It is affordable for most people.

10 BTC?? I don't think so, majority of them would be holding less then 5 BTC as you can have 10 BTC or more if you are a big fish, ordinary people like us wouldn't not be having even 1 BTC in their wallet, and the people who have more bitcoins either they would have bought or have tried their luck in trading or gambling and have hit the jackpot.
292  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: November 22, 2015, 08:38:33 PM
I would sell all my Bitcoins if bitcoin price going down and down..really down, and bitcoin expert predict bitcoin will not up again, its time i will sell all my bitcoin,i'm sure with that. however, real money is more accepted in my country,it time i will more relistic that money is better than bitcoin.

That day would never come  Cheesy and bitcoins is no concerned with experts, experts predictions are always wrong, bitcoin itself is an revolution and it doesn't need any expert advice, if it gets support from the people it will keep on growing and one or two experts cannot change the future of bitcoins, if acceptance is higher, nobody can stop bitcoins in becoming a global currency.
293  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: November 22, 2015, 08:33:42 PM
Some people have disscussed around here that bitcoin is the future of gambling and porn. And i agree with that. Some porn and gambling sites already accepted bitcoin.

Like many people saying here I do believe bitcoin would be the future. Because the digital currency would replace all conventional money in very near future just to because of its advantages like very low transaction fees and border-less transactions.

Yes and the best thing about bitcoins is that you can carry n number of bitcoins and nobody would know that you are carrying this number of bitcoins and it is not same when it comes to fiat currency as you have limits to carry fiat currency So bitcoins is gonna be future currency for sure and porn and gambling have become older now, there would be many things that would be accepting bitcoins and that would be beyond our imagination.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 22, 2015, 08:28:56 PM
of course that yes, i will hold my bitcoins because i considerer it a long term.

also im pretty sure than more than 90% of the people are doing the same, well ofc i move some of my satoshis to trade something etc etc, but i hold most of my satoshis Smiley

Yeah. Most people are holding Bitcoin in hope to earn some profit. I for one, am. I currently use 2 Bitcoin accounts. One of them is for normal use, like buying stuff online and in store(none so far). And then I have another account that I keep most of my Bitcoin in and I am hoping that the price gets up around $1000 as I bought all my Bitcoin when it was about $100, so I have waited a long time for this.

That day would surely come mate, we all are waiting for that when bitcoin turns $1000 and that is the reason we are trying our best earn as much as bitcoins and spend less and hold more for the future so that we can get some profits out of it, I am also holding my bitcoins for the same reason, but yes I do spend when I am in need of money or have to buy something.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Bitcoin become obsolete? on: November 22, 2015, 08:18:36 PM
Cat is out of box and you trolls can only watch and cry. Bitcoin is revolutionary concept and ppl finally have their own money in their wallets without any gov or bank behind it. Just another troll thread, nothing to see here move along...

Yeah, Bitcoin can never become obsolete, in fact it has just started to shine like a star, still a long way to go, Bitcoin is the future and I don't think any other currency can replace bitcoins in near future, and as a bitcoin users we want that it should keep on growing and become more popular in the future replacing all the fiat currencies who have the control of government and banking systems.
296  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: November 22, 2015, 08:12:55 PM
In my country you pay huge interest and some fees to use a credit card. I'd rather pay the 3 cents transaction fees than owe money to a bank.

If people have no money, then of course they will use credit cards to buy something. Since using a credit card is basically lending made easy.
It's a shame that this has gained public acceptance. Bitcoin will destroy the credit card industry for sure.

Yeah that is correct, and mainly in many countries banks doesn't offers you credit cards very easily, they will check your financial background, your transactions with the bank and if it meets the criteria of the bank then only they offer you credit card, and all of us cannot afford to have credit cards, So people who don't have credit cards will surely use bitcoins for making online payment, People would use bitcoins as a substitute to credit cards.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2015, 08:02:08 PM
Signature campaign is the best choice no risky  Wink

Uuuhhh you were wrong, there are a risk on signature campaign. First you will get hated by other real member because mostly someone who wear sig ads talking shit and nosense. Secondly you will getting banned if you continously off topic and have many short posts  Cheesy
There are no way to get free risk. There are always something to risk.

then don't talk no sense and don't do off topic, is that hard to do? i think not

usually they hate you because you are earning much more than them, still signature is the best way to acquire bitcoin without buying, with zero risk on your portfolio

Yes signature campaigns are the best at a moment to grow your bitcoins in the safest way, and the value of bitcoins is also rising up so you can make a good amount of bitcoins weekly if you are high ranked member, People generally wants to grow their bitcoins very fast so they prefer gambling or trading but by doing so they are inviting risk at their doorstep So it is better to play safe and earn from campaigns.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best investment? on: November 22, 2015, 06:40:41 PM
I will personally say that it is in real estate. One thing you need to know is that real estate demand keeps on increasing compared to other forms of investments. It is a good investment option if you have a good amount of money since the starting capital is always intensive. After that, you will always enjoy the fruits especially after having everything in place. trying to compare bitcoin and real estate, the bictoin investement is all about risk and hope that everything will go on well. For me I will go for real estate.

Yes, I think real estate is only an investment that guarantees you a success in long run, as the prices keeps on increasing on daily basis, you can earn a good profit out of it, the only thing you need to have is a patience in real estate investments, as it takes a lot of time for the deal to get finalized, so if you have a patience you can earn a huge profit out of it.
299  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: November 22, 2015, 06:32:56 PM
First, I am buying bitcoins because of the value they have. Mining a bitcoin will take you some dollars that is. I am sure that as I buy the bitcoins now, the price may increase and thus will be able to get some profit when I do the reselling. I do believe that the bitcoins in future will be an acceptable digital currency all over the world and with that, it will command a very large demand. I am a speculative trader when it comes to bitcoin.

Yeah  buying bitcoins for an investment purpose is a good thing, as we know that bitcoins can bring revolution in the future, as more and more people starts using bitcoins it would reach to a new level in the coming years, and we wish that prices goes high and remain stable for a long time so we can gain some profit out of it.
