Bleh. according to the miner 7 blocks so far found by me. three showed up. two orphans and two not showing up. oh another orphan just now.

okay so there is obviously another pool running shield on scrypt other than bilbotel. any ideas?

I know what staking is. It's not a new concept.

I have given up on master nodes. my network and ISP are bullcrap. if I try to check open ports apparently literally every port is closed. I show up the masternode list as active but a runtime of 0

That is exactly what i thought as well. Besides, LTCU sounds much better than LTCUm and is shorter. Getting yet another coin name won't help and will create more confusion. If implementing staking and masternodes to LTCU without having to change the name is possible (which i don't see why it is not), it would be much preferable.

Yup. LTCU rolls off the tongue unlike LTCUummmm.

I hope people agree with this. No new coin, just a hardfork. add staking and possibly masternodes.

god I hate electrum with a passion.

First it was -1 blocks.

download new wallet. - 1 block

delete everything except the wallet file. blocks appear. excellent.

electrum crashing AGAIN (there is a 50/50% chance of it crashing if I press the network button)

load it up again.

no connection.

The fact that the damn wallet crashing whenever I press the network button to check blocks is really infuriating

got masternode running but runtime is stuck at 0:00 so the port is probably closed but the modem is such a broken system from my ISP that I am fucked probably.

plus I got 0 staking from the coins pre-masternode creation. so i have no idea what is going on.

Also what is the problem while compiling (maybe we can help, or fix it in a future release)

Our pool operator has been trying to get a scrypt pool working but compiling always fails. this guy has added so many coins without a issue but SHIELD just keeps on failing and failing.
