281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still truly achieve anonymous gambling in crypto? on: March 24, 2024, 10:17:29 PM
Crypto has been known for anonymity. During the early stage, we like to promote it using the words "decentralized" and "anonymous ", and it's the main reason why a lot of gamblers have chosen to gamble using crypto to gain full privacy, but it seems like things have really change a lot now as gamblers are looking for a casino that are licensed while some casinos who promotes anonymous gambling eventually act like a fiat casino that requires KYC.

What do you think about this one, where is are we heading? And can we still consider crypto casino different from fiat casino?

To be honest, I would say NO, almost all crypto casinos are asking for KYC nowadays, and it's because it's mandated if I'm my memory serves me right. There are casinos who say, NO KYC in the beginning and it's a blatant scam as we have seen them asking for it if you won big.

I think the only difference with fiat casino is that if we get to pass the KYC and approved, withdrawal then is very quick. As most fiat casinos will take time even if your KYC is a green though to deposit your winnings to your account.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 22, 2024, 10:07:52 PM
To be honest I am quite shocked about the win streak they are having right now, and without Alperen Sengun, their most efficient scorer as well. It's of course about the fact that they played some super weak teams as well, but they played bulls this time around and while Bulls is not great, they are not bottom of the league tanking team neither, so this win means more than any other in the streak.

I feel like they actually do have a chance to go to playoffs this way, if they keep up this production and how they are going, I think that they are going to be above warriors. It's cool to see this, ı just wonder how long they can keep it up, I do not think that they can just keep winning every game, eventually this streak will end.

Yes, I think everyone is really surprised with their winning streak specially that Sengun is down, I guess this is the very definition of players stepping up their games now because they know that their number 1 offensive player can't play. And then they have a good coach as well, who might have motivated them to really go above and beyond. I haven't check their next opponents, but if it is a great team, who knows, maybe their winning streak will end. But as this point, they proved that they are going to be a tough team to beat even at road. And even if they didn't make the playoff this season, for sure they will be back strong next year as they have build a good chemistry and blend it today.

Young and hungry.  I said it before but I honestly hope they get in.  I like to see what these younger players do in playoff situations.  They will be an issue in the playin games for someone.  They don't have experience but got.legs to make it hard on a game that's one and done.  NBA needs some new blood like Houston, okc, orlando, etc.

Also we need to give credit to their coach as well as mentioned, he was a former Celtics coach who bring them in the finals, they just fell short because of inexperience. But Ime was hired again after personal controversy and it's good to see him coaching a team that has the potential, not this season but in the next season to contend.

I do agree, we need fresh face now, OKC, Wolves, Magic are now doing that. And hopefully Houston will be the one next year as they look solid. And if Sengun will totally healed next season, and as they build their harmony.
283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Closing in on 60k, Again! on: March 22, 2024, 09:49:51 PM
Well as the recorded early today its 72k is the highest price meaning this thread should be locked as it is already served its purpose mate because 60k has long passed.
and no this is never the same as 2017 because this Before halving? the price of bitcoin broke the ATH and this is the very first time that we have seen this scenario so there will never be like this year mate.
The new history that was formed this year has been completely different in Bitcoin because most people never thought that Bitcoin could break through its new ATH before the halving occurred. However, this has actually happened this year with prices exceeding $70K, so this has become quite spectacular in Bitcoin because every day there are so many people talking about Bitcoin due to this new ATH. I am truly amazed at what has happened to Bitcoin this year because this has never occurred to me before.

Well by now progress and achievement are ongoing in bitcoin market, there will always be the first and now we all witnessed it, when it had a new ath before the bull run. So that's amazing and it will be in the history books and could it be set a precedence in the future?

But after that $73k big run, now the price goes down hard again, $62k as of this time and hopefully there will be no more downward pattern for us. Maybe some of us are used to see the price going up and so we can only wish that the bleeding will stop at least at $60k levels.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: March 22, 2024, 12:32:24 PM
I used to buy lottery tickets in our government owned sweepstakes some years ago. I knew the chances of winning in lotteries are so low and someone has to the in the luckiest day of his life to earn it. I totally stopped it last year when in a certain draw there were 400 winners. And now our local lottery is under review because there were issues that it is rigged. So I would rather use the money on online lotteries and other casino games although I really prefer sports betting when it comes to gambling.

It's now the question of trust, if what yo describe really happen in your country, then I wouldn't trust the system itself as obviously, it's been rigged by the people that hold position on the lottery office.

But for me, time to time, if I see a lottery outlet, I will readily buy tickets and see how it goes for me the next day if I won or not. However, it's obvious, after so many years, I'm still stuck and no major big win for me.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 22, 2024, 03:23:58 AM
He is fortunate to still be able to take advantage of the opportunity of making some money through fighting.

This is a good fight that he can win. Francis made so much money from just his two fights even though he lost, shows that there is enough money to be made from boxing.

Tyson is doing the fight for both money and ego.
I adore how Mike Tyson is doing all in his power to resurrect his former self, and even at his advanced age, the man still has some moves. And the reason the man is receiving inspiration is due to the benefit of earning that kind of money. Since Mike Tyson last fought, he has been training again and is determined to win at all costs. This match will be well-attended because fans from all over the world will be watching, and you can only image how much money many will make from simply betting on it. Boxing as money  receiving those blows are not for free. And even if any of them should lose they will still make there money. I hope that ego does not take over him during the match if not it won't end well for him. But if it was for the money then he needs it. Because everyone needs money.

Mike Tyson himself is a popular name in boxing, so no doubt he can attract boxing fans to watch this fight. A lot are excited to see him again inside the ring. Though his age may not favour this intense fight, but if he knows what he's getting into, he knows how to prepare for this upcoming fight. Paul is much much younger but let us see how he will perform in front of the likes of Tyson.

Sure, money may be the motivating factor for Tyson but I believe, it is also combination of his pride. We don't know the rules for this exhibition fight. But they can easily favour Tyson here. Let us see how this will pan out. But so far, Jake Paul is the favourite on this match.

I'm not really sure what you mean by pride, or it could be that he wanted to give Jake Paul a lesson here as obviously, even at his age, he is the professional boxer here and so he want to teach this exhibition fighters?

But there is also the health concern for Mike Tyson, he is almost 60 years old, we don't want something bad to happen to him inside the ring. Maybe he can still box, but how many rounds he has inside of him?
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 22, 2024, 03:02:03 AM
I read an analysis that Kyrie Irving significantly increased his stats during Ramadan, which is really interesting. I think he's more focused when he's fasting.
His buzzer beater the other night was incredible. Dallas has a strong chance to finish the regular season in the top 6. As long as Kyrie plays like this, Doncic's job becomes easier.
Kyrie says it's not hard to play basketball while fasting, it's not a miracle. Doncic praises him saying he couldn't do that.

Kyrie's stats before Ramadan:
25.2 PPG
5.0 RPG
4.9 APG
1.2 SPG
48.9% FG

During Ramadan:
27.8 PPG
6.5 RPG
8.5 APG
2.0 SPG
53.8% FG

source, a facebook page

Even for non-Muslim though, I have practice IF (intermittent fasting) 16:8, meaning 16 hours of fasting and just 8 hours window on eating and I will attest that I'm more focused as I have a day job that time. So yeah it's really possible and it can help you zone in.

There is also another case, the great Hakeem Olojuwon. Heard stories of him playing in Ramadan and had great numbers and really discipline, and can take that hard banging during the 90's as games during that era is physical.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 21, 2024, 04:30:00 AM
The more I read about this match and the more promotion that I see, I feel like it's going to be basically a sparring match. The fact that it's on Netflix and not Pay per view also tosses a red flag at me. While I feel like in his prime Tyson would knock the snot outta Paul, there is no denying that the 30 year age gap is a big deal. Tyson could probably hang in there for 5-7 rounds, but has not been training like he used to. Paul clearly has the advantage as far as being in shape goes.

It's likely that this is just a glorified sparring match and neither will be giving 100%.

Lol, but yeah, this could be the term here, glorified sparring match and as the side they will earn tons of money. And as what Og said, could be Tyson's retirement package as after this, he might not resurface or have interviews.

Or if he will have interviews, his pay might go higher as well because of this said fight and what could be his next fight. They've created hype already, even the boxing community here are very much alive and waiting for this fight. It's the question of Mike's stamina and gas tank and I don't think that he can last that long. Maybe just after 3 rounds his age will show up here and getting tired already.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 21, 2024, 03:55:43 AM
@FinneysTrueVision. Is this fight for Pacman a comeback fight or is this only an exhibition? He is 45 years old already, will he fight again if he wins against Conor Benn? This will be headshaking, however, I will certainly watch these fights hehee.

On Anthony Joshua, presently it appears much of the fans of boxing are speculating a fight between him and Tyson Fury. But would it not be much better if he should challenge Oleksandr Usyk again? I reckon this new Joshua might knockout Usyk. Ben Davison appears to have made Anthony Joshua discover something from himself.

Pacman could be interested with the belt so probably it's not an exhibition. But how could he get a championship if he is not anymore active, I mean,I thought they will base on the ranking not on the popularity? I'm not really sure if this rumors are but in case Pacman will comeback, I'm sure that will create a lot of hype and people will surely watch it.

What about the rumor beween Pacman and Mayweather, I thought it will happen this May?

On Mayweather vs. Pacman 2. Similar to what I have already mentioned before, these types of fights between old people might be something similar to scam ICOs where the promoters hype the fight, collect all the money then dump everything on your head with your mouths open hehehe. I will certainly watch this, however, we cannot expect these retired old men to fight better than during Mayweather vs. Pacman 1. Also, Pacman should have cancelled the fight vs. Mayweather on 2015 when he had his shoulder injury. Accepting to fight with the injury was a big career decision error.

And that's how it is from the beginning of this exhibition match, Floyd was one of those who started this early, when he fought in Japan and then Jake Paul followed suit and up to this day, they are raking big money from us, from those who buy their tickets.

But a Pacman vs Floyd might be different perspective for boxing fans, we want to recreate that scenario that this two are still in their primes and wanted to get each others head off. However, at the end of the day, still up to us whether we will buy the tickets or PPV or wanted to be scam.
289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AZORult stealer targets crypto wallets with a sophisticated HTML smuggling on: March 21, 2024, 02:52:57 AM
This has been my recommendation to my friends to use Linux since almost everything can be done with it, at the same time you don't have to worry about expensive licenses in Linux since there are alternative software like office, most virus/malware will not run on it, i use it before and must say it work like a charm, just use ubuntu desktop and you're good to go.
It's because that they have lesser userbase and hackers won't waste time on it as majority of the people either using mac os' and windows. One thing that they can learn from using linux is there's also a career in it that they can be linux systems administrator so, it's a double thing for them. They're able to at least decrease the chances of dealing with these stealers and attackers and at the same time, they learn a new skill when they've become get used to the usage of linux environment. But still, it's not that 100% that they won't be targeted by attackers/hackers.

Although according to this report: Linux malware is on the rise—6 types of attacks to look for.

I think was is more prevalent attack is crypto jacking, because they can really harness of those individuals using Linux flavored OS.

So it mean no one is really immune for such attacks, and numbers are growing as well for Linux. But obviously, 80% could be in Chrome base as security is not that high and majority of us has been "programmed" to used them.
290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the dip people!!! Could be last chance for prices this low on: March 21, 2024, 02:33:27 AM
Whether it is the last chance or not, still we need to buy with some faith. As an investor, we should think wisely and never get into such a thing when doubted, or else, this will be the reason for our regrets. We don't need to urge ourselves to buy this time if we are uncertain, there is another bear season after this.
But for the risk-takers, then I think we have to consider the current correction. We are not yet in the new ATH, therefore, we really have the chance to earn a profit. Of course, that was different from buying Bitcoin during the dip. For newcomers, must think deeply and keep the volatility in mind before deciding to invest.
actually doesn't care about new or old investors. If you want to buy Bitcoin, just buy it straight away without thinking about current market conditions. Because we are talking about investment, of course there will be no investors who will sell their coins in the short term. most investors will definitely take steps to sell long term. That is what is of concern and it is impossible that Bitcoin will continue to fall in the future, it will definitely always rise, especially as many new investors put their money here.

There still a big difference though, as new investors doesn't know when to enter or when to buy obviously they don't have the experience. And most of them could sell as well when the market goes down. Just like what we've seen from $73k and it goes down to $62k and most likely some newbies sold.

But then again, with that dip, smart investors could be the winner as they know how to play this game. Now we have a good bounce, to $68k and it seems that we might go after $70k again as the bulls are really aggressive this month alone.
291  Other / Meta / Re: Reasons of be inactive on: March 21, 2024, 01:45:07 AM
It's nice to observe anywhere you are, this forum is mega forum base on It's capacity of containment of members, and secondly i want to make this my article brief for we to understand.

I observed that the reason why some active members became inactive in the forum is as result of lacks of campaigns, I don't know if anyone have noticed that, I don't want to call names of people who has reduce their activity in the forum based their not in campaign...it means that many users will silent forum if signature campaign is not on forum, these is my little observations.

But there's still a lot of campaigns that needs to be filled though?

And I doubt that this is the reasons, as you can see others left for personal reasons as they specify. I think as well that there are members who stay with or without campaign posting naturally. Of course majority here wanted to be incentivized.
292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bothered about every DIP? It's just a mental check. on: March 20, 2024, 11:25:35 AM
What's been your reaction when you're expecting an upward trend up to $100k and boom, it dips back to $61k?
If you're too bothered about this, then you're probably a trader and haven't been long in the system.

This is a mentality checker for those coming into the circle for the first time but for those that have been around for a while, every DIP or bull is to your advantage.

Don't loose sight, keep stacking.

Not saying that I'm immune, but I have seen worst and never react, who forget the massive downfall during the pandemic about 4 years ago? Right, it's the time wherein there is a uncertainty and the price plummeted to $3,500?

So for those who have been here that time, there is the time that everyone is fearful and yet we survived, we had that halving and then years after all time high at $69k which was subsequently broken already. So just think about that time before you think of having a mental check.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: March 20, 2024, 11:11:14 AM
Lol, who is that one guy who has chosen "Jaime Munguia By Decision" ? Please stand up. Who are you? Where you under the influence of substances when you have chosen that or it was a misclick? Seriously, what was motivating you to make such a ridiculous vote? Judges would never let Munguia or any other contender win Canelo by decision. It is going to be either a lucky punch and KO, or the corrupted boxing judges will always select money making cow.

Grin, but I do agree, even in the Bivol fight wherein we see the Bivol dominated the fight from first round to the last, and yet the judges trying to look like the fight is very close and they almost robbed Bivol. But I guess they know the repercussions if they will do that in the fight, so the best they can do is a 115-113 score.

But here, it might go down in the judges card but it might be a lopsided score in favor of Canelo. And with that, if Munguia will want to win and doesn't want the judge to influence the score then he should go for the jugular knockout win, but that is very hard to accomplished as Canelo hasn't lost with that way. Even a knockdown is very hard for Munguia to do.
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of these betting Statements Do you Agree or Disagree With? on: March 20, 2024, 12:52:27 AM
I want to believe that we all agree that our betting budget should be within 5% -10% of our monthly income as responsible gamblers. However, our perspective on sports betting differs. Look at the gambling sentences and indicate which of the statements you agree or disagree with. You could also write a brief explanation for your standpoint

1. Don't bet all your money on one bet.

Sometimes though, when you are desperate and have lost so much money and your decision making is  obscured or unclear, I might go this route and really go YOLO.

2. Bet the same amount on every bet.

I think majority will disagree with this, it will go against the basic law of gambling, you have to risk big to win big.

3. Don't bet more than once a day.

This is subjective, for me, I bet more than once a day.

4. Don't bet every day.

I might agree with this specially if you are in a losing streak. Maybe it's time to take a break first. At least to interrupt the chain of unlucky events. And reset yourself and maybe you can comeback strong.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recovering gambling addict stories on: March 20, 2024, 12:23:55 AM
The worst thing that can happen to a person is to develop a gambling addiction since it will ruin relationships with family and friends and cause them to lose focus on the things that really matter in life, which is their family.

I don't why some people find it difficult to comprehend that gambling doesn't bring wealth, rather it will drain your savings and cause you to lose your family. Even after being aware of this, people are still found to be hooked on gambling(what a sad world we live in)

It's like the psychology of gambling itself, it's been part of us and it's really hard to get away from it. And every day we see more gamblers started their journey because it is more accessible more than ever with internet and online gambling.

So it's vicious cycle, someone might recovered and share his stories like this, and then somewhere in the opposite side of the globe, a new individual is slowly turning into a addict and ruining his life and hopefully he can go back to his sense before everything crumbles in his face.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've projected my holding after this bull run. what's yours? on: March 20, 2024, 12:09:26 AM
I'm just here to ask you all especially those who are newly investors to this bitcoin investment platform like me that WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH YOUR FIRST INVESTED FUNDS AFTER THE BULL RUN?

I think it will be obvious, they (including me), sold near the top or what you perceived as close to the new all time high. I'm not a beginner, and this is what I did at the last bull run. Majority could have done the same, to take profits at least if not sold everything or at least sold some of their stash.

And then just repeat the cycle, the bear market is the best time to accumulate. Although we are already far from it as we have entered bull run already, reaching new ATH at $73k. But still there could be time to just continue to accumulate sat and then what I have said in the beginning, maximize your profits by selling at the top price.
297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New trader's must remember it. on: March 19, 2024, 02:14:54 PM
I don't know if there is like a sticky for new traders to follow. For me it might be better if there are no rigid set of protocols for them. Just go with the motions and have some fun when you are a beginner and see how it goes for you.

And maybe if you gain that experience then that is the time that you will go back in your notes and see what might be the success for you or what you have to do to improve your trading and to make money. So time and money is absolute to make more money, in my humble opinion.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 19, 2024, 01:53:26 PM
Few more games left in the regular season and one of the finalists last year is still struggling for a spot in the playoffs. I am referring to the Miami Heat who's supposed to start having win streaks to finished at least in the top 6. Although the team even if it's in the play-in or inside the top 6 remains as the dark horse in the eastern conference just like the Lakers and the Warriors in the west. There are young teams in the top rankings but I doubt any of these 3 experienced teams enter the finals again this season.

I like the resiliency of Miami Heat, as long as Bam can play in the playoff, they will be the dark horse team and unpredictable, just like last season and the in the bubble wherein they go into the finals against the Lakers.

For the Lakers and the Warriors, it's a long road for this former champions. Specially the Warriors, there still something that is missing with them. Klay is inconsistent, although they are doing their best to be at least in the play-in. But I do agree that either of this teams are not going into the finals. Time for other teams in the West to shine.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player Focus Groups in Online Slot Design and Launch on: March 18, 2024, 11:44:40 PM
This is a question for everyone. Does anyone here know if online slot providers organize player focus groups to test their games before the final launch? If you have participated in any of such focus groups kindly share your experience here. Start sharing from the selection or recruitment  process to the conclusion of the project? I know that physical casinos do invite players  for a focus group to try out new games during the design phase, I don't think that I have seen any of such for online casinos.

I think it's all internal for gaming operators and I doubt that they have or will hire outside player groups to test their new games. And yes, most likely the main reason is that they don't want everyone to see it before they go public.

And they spend millions and a lot of hours developing new games, so they are very very careful who's going to see and test it. And most likely those internal test groups might sign for NDA before they can get their hands on this new games. And if you have been in a software company, they have processes and it include as QA/Test group that will do rigorous testing, to find bugs before going into production.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tim Tszyu vs Keith Thurman WBO super welterweight Title March 31 on: March 18, 2024, 11:23:24 PM
Due to an injury, Keith Thurman has pulled out of this fight. Instead Tim Tszyu will face “The Towering Inferno” Sebastian Fundora. Fundora isn’t well known so it will be hard for this fight to sell PPVs but this should be a more competitive fight. Tszyu vs. Thurman would have been a catchweight non-title fight because the WBO didn’t consider Thurman as deserving but now Tszyu vs. Fundora will be for both the WBO and vacant WBC titles.

https://www.boxingscene.com/sebastian-fundora-comes-replace-injured-keith-thurman-against-tim-tszyu-on-march-30--182215

Too bad, and I think this could be the last straw for Thurman, he could be out again for this year and at his age of 35, it's probably that he is already lost some steps and no longer in his prime. That big loss to Manny could have really take a toll on him mentally.

Tim is the WBO champion and Fundora is on the WBC, not a champion but a rank fighter at #3.

Good test for Tim here, as Fundora is tall and lanky, but I'm seeing Tim will win by decision and will break down Fundora even if he has the height and length advantage.
