I thought this is not permitted even in boxing. I don't know if this is per jurisdiction. But as far as I know, a boxer should not bet on himself. Because from what I read before, in British boxing rules, boxers are not permitted to bet on themselves.

It was truly surprising fight, indeed Haney had good communication relationship with his father and we all know what they talked about but in reality Haney couldn't resist what Garcia gave him.

Haney and his father can prepare much better for this match, they should come up with a better game plan for Garcia.
