281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2018 Vs. 2022 on: October 20, 2022, 10:37:50 PM
It's also possible that even with the halving, that there's no bull run and that we have reached the ATH for a while.

I think it's better to buy Bitcoin because you believe its fundamentals are good and you think it makes up for sound money.

Anything else -- especially with money you can't afford to lose -- is too risky.
Halving gives no assurance though in the previous halving, you can see the pump with the price and that is something to look forward in the next halving.
Fundamentally Bitcoin is good, no question about that and this is also why many choose to play long with Bitcoin and that's a good strategy that I will choose as well.
If you can't afford to invest yet that's fine, just save some money and wait for a cheaper price, the bear market is still here and that's a good opportunity to buy.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Realizing the value of holding cash on: October 19, 2022, 10:38:20 PM
Have cash after you profit a good sum, but do not have any cash during bear run and buy it all.
Taking profit is advisable and yes we should reinvest it if we want to earn more.
The market is very unpredictable, in this bear market having an extra money is ideal because you can get cheaper coins and the possible return is good especially when the market recovers. Cash is still good, have this always with your wallet and be prepared for everything. I do have my funds for this, it's not that big but I'm making sure to chase the cheaper market, I can't afford to miss that opportunity.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: October 19, 2022, 10:19:14 PM
It's an exhibition match and even if Pacquiao said that he'll give his best on this match, there's still the doubt playing on our minds if he will since this is just that type of match.
No boxer will claim to be more easy on their opponent, of course this is an exhibition match and for the purpose of making money as well.
We know Pacquiao is a legend and having this match against DK Yoo is quiet an obvious set-up. They both old, so maybe this is just for entertainment purpose and again for the money. DK also have a match like this last year, probably he wants to experience more and Manny is ok with the deal.
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much gambling is in trading cryptocurrencies? on: October 18, 2022, 02:01:53 PM
Its all gambling because any coin can go from hero to zero. The best strategy is to just buy some bitcoin and hold it instead of trading. The only function of crypto trading is to get more bitcoin and the only thing thats real is the pump.
Trading is not all about Bitcoin, if you think like this probably you are just depending on the hype of Bitcoin and that can be consider as gambling.
Trading is about analysis, if you didn't analyze then that is not trading for me. Gambling is more about luck which can relate to trading if you do it aggressively without analysis. We should not think about gambling because trading is different, and I see more passion and commitment with trading compare to gambling, some gambler didn't mind losing money while trader, they work hard to analyze and more confident about making profit.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And officially worst year for investors on: October 18, 2022, 01:15:47 PM
2022 is going to be the worst year for crypto investors. Any thoughts guys?
Not all investors are sad this year, many are able to locked-in their profits in stable coins waiting for the right moment to reinvest it. I made some money as well, and still holding it as my buying power so when Bitcoin goes deeper, I might be able to catch it. This is not my worst year with cryptocurrency, maybe I worked hard not to lose a single cent but of course, the market is unpredictable and losing is inevitable as well. If you lose money in the three quarters, you still have time to make some, don't lose hope and keep trying.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Currency should be Integrated into School Curriculum on: October 18, 2022, 01:04:56 PM
Cryptocurrency is not for everyone, we cannot force those children to adopt, the best option is to provide financial awareness and financial literacy by this we give them freedom to choose and help them build a great foundation for them so when they start to earn their own money, they know how to handle it and they know where to put it.

Beside, cryptocurrency is still not legal in many countries and regulations is not intact to at least protect those young mind from any misinformation or fake news. Cryptocurrency can be learn easily online, I'm confident they will cross this market when the time is right. So having this in a curriculum should not be the priority of the government.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: Running a successful business in most developing countries on: October 18, 2022, 12:44:45 PM
Developing countries really need investment, especially from developed countries, but unfortunately the investment of developed countries is currently mostly in industries such as automotive, garment, and other production, even though the investment that is very good and will develop at this time is the agricultural sector or food production.
Agriculture are the least option for the investors, they are indeed focused in other sector especially with Automotive and Technology which we cannot blame them since there's a strong demand for that sector and that is still a good investment for a developing countries. Doing business might not be easy as well especially if the market are dominated by the big companies, if you want to succeed you must offer a good service and a quality project, developing countries are still a good place for foreign investors.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 18, 2022, 12:29:50 PM
^

I absolutely agree with you. Gambling or betting gives real emotions only when we make our own decisions. I have followed someone else's betting advice several times in my life and have been disappointed in the outcome of most of these matches. In my opinion it is more interesting to analyze the result of a match by yourself and if the analysis is done correctly, this bet will bring me much more good emotions than I would bet on someone else's advice.
Usually good celebrities are endorsing only good teams, and that's why many got hyped because of that promotions.
I always bet with my own analysis, I can't find any reason to rely on someone though I can admit that those celebrities affects my decision sometimes, but I still make sure to have some analysis, betting is indeed more fun if you understand the sports and you bet with your favorite team. Just bet carefully, know where to put your money safely.
289  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: October 18, 2022, 12:20:00 PM

Those who can afford to play and invest kahit na hinde na profitable in short term ay talagang makakatagal dito, they can afford to hold more unfortunately, hinde na talaga ito para sa lahat, hinde na ok ang maging scholar dito. Anyway, mukang magtatagal pa talaga ang bear market, kaya yung iba hinde paren talaga nagbabalik loob with axie, bukas sa need na maginvest ng pera dito from time to time, need den maglaan ng maraming oras kase panigurado, mahihirapan ka if limitado lang ang mga Axie mo.
290  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 17, 2022, 11:40:18 PM
As long as the gambling platform is reputable, I don't have any worry about my anonymity.  The gambling also have a function to hide a players username adding more security to the players account and activity.  I wouldn't mind doing KYC in this kind of platform since I am sure that reputable casinos will always protect their players privacy.
This is the reason why I always choose the best site, you can have peace of mind with them and you can focus more on the enjoyment of the game, filling out KYC is also ok with me. I’ve done this already on many site, especially with the gambling site though I got some messages from unknown user but that’s alright as long as I ignore them, I know I’m safe. Scammers and hackers will always be there even if you didn’t fill out any KYC, learn to secure your wallet at all times.
291  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Pepper Attack - Play & earn turn-based strategy NFT game on: October 17, 2022, 10:55:21 PM
Natawa naman ako dito pero upon checking, chili pepper nga siguro ang basis nila, with their name and yung game design.

Hesitant na ako maginvest sa mga P2E games and I don’t know if it’s really worth it or not?
Haven’t heard this game before, may promotions ba sila dito sa forum? Ilang months or years kaya ang ROI nito para sa mga nakapagtry na?
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: October 17, 2022, 10:37:26 PM
That’s a good match for Casimero, they almost have the same record and watching some of the matches of Akaho, it looks like he is not an easy opponent after all with a good record of KOs as well.

Casimero comeback should be more epic, I’m expecting more from him after all the cancelled matches before. Casimero should reclaim himself and get a belt for him, still have time to prepare for this, this can be a great match to end the year.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Personal Flood Prevention/Sensitization Project. Any Ideas? on: October 17, 2022, 10:04:55 PM
I applaud the initiative but that alone is not enough to control floods and even the government can’t make any solution with this, why? Because they choose buildings over the trees and that’s what happening in my country.

We huge number of storm every year, and every year the government is trying to clean the river and the road to at least lower the flood rate but the result is still not good. Flood control is not working, drainages are full of trash and I believe this is already the problem of the people being careless with their trash. I hope you can find the solution here, ask for the government help and other volunteers, you might get the right answer OP.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Mining still worth it? on: October 17, 2022, 09:41:24 PM
I've recently gotten a graphic card for mining but i heard that currently mining is not worth it as all cryptos are currently in the downfall so its not worth mining. Can anybody give me an advice on it. Your insight is very much appreciated. Grin Grin
You have to understand the cost of mining and not just look at the market situation, some miners already moved to other places where they can get a cheaper energy and maximize their mining. If you have a good mining rig and the cost of energy in your area is not that expensive then I can day mining is still worth it. Cheaper coins to mine means you can get more and when the bull market hits, that could be a huge profit for you, patience is also the key in mining for you to succeed.
295  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | on: October 17, 2022, 12:45:45 PM
It’s definitely a very tough part of it as well, why? Because at first you have 1000 gamblers, and you have 5-10 staff size that is focusing on support, maybe they help something else on the side as well like beta testing new versions, and that’s fine and its working perfectly without issue and they gain experience and be better each day.
Even a reputable site experience delay on responding, why? Because some case needs to fully investigate and not all the support can handle that, usually they need the IT professional to investigate the problem, but if it just a simple concern I believe the support can easily answer that. I understand the volume of the gamblers but it's really good for a site to adjust as well and make a good team to handle the support, remember the site should always protect their gamblers and satisfy their inquiries or else they will just leave and go to other site with a great support system. Is there any delay with Duelbits recently? they must be very busy with their updates.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Central authority can be biased. Referring to TikTok on: October 16, 2022, 11:46:43 PM
That profit sharing of Tiktok is quiet unbelievable, I’m not making money from my Tiktok account but this one is really disturbing, especially those people are just trying to make money for their living though it’s bad to use Children to attract more donor but I know, that’s the real situation on their country.

Tiktok should at least have a good sense of initiative here to lower their percentage, it they continue to be like this for sure other platform will take over especially those who can give higher profit sharing.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: October 16, 2022, 11:12:26 PM
Las Vegas is famous when it comes to gambling games. Almost the majority of people who went here are really rich people, as far as I know, please correct me if I'm saying something wrong. And what you said is also true that different regulations apply in each country when it comes to operating gambling.

And most countries are making lottery and casinos legal, whether it's land-based or online. But anyway, if that is one of your dreams, let's let time tell you the answer to that matter. Smiley

Anyways, if a person is traveling to a place where really known for something popular, it's obvious that they should visit the highlights of that travel.

For example, Las Vegas and as you mentioned, is famous for casinos, even a non-gambler will surely try to visit one of the casinos there.

But for a place that has another attraction or is well-known for, don't prioritize looking for a casino there just because you/we are a gambler.
We all have reason to travel and visit other country, if it’s included in your itinerary then why not, I guess you really have to plan your visit every time you travel so you can maximize your time and spend your time well on that foreign country. I agree that If it’s a tourist spot, then it’s a good experience to try but if you are not a gambler, you can easily learn how to play slots and other gambling games.
298  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Discussion] Post Bursting sa Forum on: October 16, 2022, 11:00:58 PM
Sa tingin ko naka base sila sa time interval since some users are posting almost 10 post a day and yet di naman sila natatag as burst posting, as long as you continue doing that with quality, and ok ang time interval I think that's fine.

Ok naren siguro to ask your campaign manager with regards to this one so you can get the precise answer and maavoid mo if ever naman na connected ka sa campaign. Iba iba ang rules per manager, yung iba sobrang higpit at yung iba ay hinde naman, still we need to follow their instructions kase dito sa forum in general wala naman specific basis for burst posting, general yung rules nya.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Back To Promoting Doge as a Payment Method for New Cologne on: October 16, 2022, 10:53:51 PM
At this time all coin prices experienced a significant decline.  Although we know that Elon Musk has a big influence on Doge, but still the price of Doge has not changed very well, because market conditions are not good
This is also why Elon didn't hype DOGE that much recently, because he knows it's useless because Bitcoin is still dominant.
The probability for Elon to hype DOGE again is high, we know him in just a simple tweet people will react on that and that could be the start of the hype. I wonder if that statement is real and Elon will really support DOGE publicly. DOGE is just a meme token before, though it changed a lot since Elon started to make hype on that meme token.
300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Market Analysis Today on: October 16, 2022, 10:28:06 PM
ALTCOINS JUST BOTTOMED AND SHIB COIN TO THE MOON?Huh!!!!!!!!!!! + Crypto Market Analysis Today

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIHMob5RI-A
This analysis is not advisable to follow, the market is not at the bottom yet and there's still a possible that it can dump further.
The market is very volatile, Bitcoin is still at low price and possible will retest the support level. I've heard the recent new for SHIB, I don't think the hype is there because the price didn't pump that much and that is because of the influence of Bear market. It's hard for a project to pump during this time, better not to expect that much.
