The point isn't to get more users or inflate the price of BTC or what have you.  The point is to counter the coming tide of "bitcoin is for criminals" propaganda.

Whether this idea will be effective in terms of bang per buck (or rather, per BTC), I'm not sure, but the current user-friendliness of the client and other bitcoin-related tools is irrelevant here.

Unfortunately that's the only picture I have, and it's not set up that way any more.

I got a 100-pack of 12" zip ties from harbor freight.  Each card is suspended with two pairs of ties, each pair daisy-chained together.  The Diamond 5870 was on top, suspended from the fan grill on top of the case.  The next set of ties held the 5970, looping around the Diamond and through another set of holes at the top of the case.  The next three sets of ties looped through the set above, and held the other three cards roughly parallel to the ground, so that their riser cables could reach.

Then you have to wait 3 weeks for shipping from China.  Not worth it if you're trying to get more mining capacity on line as soon as possible.

No alpha/beta/arabian nights, but it's still nothing to scoff at.  High-value cards, and I'm putting a pretty serious discount on them.

I used to play competitive Legacy-format Magic tournaments, and I've still got a decent chunk of my collection left.  A friend offered to buy it from me a while back, but he's been taking too long while the price of BTC keeps rising.  Cards are listed below.  I've priced everything out according to magictraders.com, which tracks the average price of cards sold on eBay.  These are generally the lowest prices around, and in practice it's hard to actually get the cards for those prices.

I cut out any cards worth less than $5, and what remains is worth a bit over $1700 (according to the lowest standard available).  I want to move them sooner rather than later, so I'll consider reasonable offers (post them in this thread).
