thank you for the update, this is somewhat reassuring. This confirms my suspicion of a technical setback.I hope they learned now that disclosing this information prevents trolls from firing up the speculation engine.....

and to people still yelling scam i say: nobody in his right mind would make such detailed updates and images and designes for a scam. There are far easyer ways to scam. I hope everybody will just relax a bit now and stop making rediculus acusations and disgusting rasist remarks. They are working towards our asics, there are just some setbacks. I am developing a new product aswell unrelated to crypto and things can happen unexpectedly, even with good intentions. 1 problem leads to another, causing a chain of delays.

these things happen in life.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ASIC-RESISTANT] UltraCoin (UTC) - Ultrafast 6 second transactions!! on: July 28, 2014, 10:25:05 AM
Forgive my bluntness but can I ask what the dev team are doin at the moment? I'm not saying they are doing nothing, I just honestly don't know what they are working on.

Also why is it taking so long to do the minecraft thing. If you have commissioned/hired a guy who knows what he is doing then why is it taking him months to do. I'm just asking what others are thinking but to polite to ask.
My flat mate wants to know why he should buy some more UTC.

PS: great news about the multipool! Well fone guys! UTC holders appricate it

I had found somebody for MC, but paul1r and fabietech are not comfortable with somebody without references.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: July 26, 2014, 07:45:30 PM
update please.

with concrete information such as pictures of components or hashing prototype, shipping dates, what caused the delay

i have asked people to remain reasonable here, but if your gonna say update within a day and then there is no update after 2 , then i dont know what you are doing over there. My patience is growing thin.

an honest disclosure of what happened can get my respect, keeping silent is troll feed to the speculators and is very unwise
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: July 26, 2014, 01:19:53 PM
i paid in full and with biutcoin, i can not afford to loose that money since i have to start a company with it.i though instead of spending 10000 dollar once, i will invest it and then spend it, and have a monthly return.....

it might not be alot to some people but its every cent i own
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: July 26, 2014, 11:10:26 AM
if they manage to climb out of this hole and ship, i will applaude them. all it takes is honesty, we have been delayd because of.....

If with all the luck in the world the chips have been made and are not being released by the foundry due to lack of funds, why have they not even shown that stage to everyone.

According to standard workflow & payments in this business sector, foundry has to receive 100% payment before they start the final production. So if this would be the case chips are not kept at the foundry but simply are not produced yet.

yes , so i hope that all these refund fudders are not screwing with my asic.

having said that, i thought there would be an announcement today
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: July 24, 2014, 03:00:16 PM
shipping a bit later then expected is not called fraud, its called a delay

So if Fiaz announce they are delaying shipping until end of Q4 beginning of Q1 2015 and then in December announce they are delaying until end of Q1 you are fine with it?

no 2015 would not be fine, a delay within a reasonable timeframe is acceptable, and with a proper explenation with the reason

Hey guys,

i urgently need to speak to a dev!
We're having a problem with our UTC wallet and can't figure out what's wrong here:

every rpc call is taking like 10min+
if you do /ultracoind getinfo the response comes after approx. 10min
AND
the wallet consumes 100% CPU

Any help is appreciated. We're working on it since two days, and have already synced the wallet
multiple times, which didnt work out.

Regards,
Crypto-Trade

do you have 1.0.4.1?
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: July 20, 2014, 04:04:42 PM
you dont know me,and you know nothing about what kind of person i am. You should not judge people.

i do want my asic, and i do want to see a prototype.they missed their estimated date, that does not make it a criminal enterprise.you guys are dillusional. It might be a scam but as i have said many times now, its to early to make that claim.people are reporting them left and right to various agency and thats simply wrong...that doctor guy is right, the people who are getting refunds are the ones breaking the agreement , not alpha.

if me being reasonable offends you and is making you want to insult me on a personal level that is your problem not mine.

behaving like a ranting medieval pitchfork mob is not helping anybody, if your gonna look under every pebble for dirt, your gonna find dirt everywhere...

If there is a problem they should communicate it to us, and not simply delete accounts, that is fuel to the fire.its as simple as that

Look. I'm going to write this in caps as you clearly have trouble comprehending what is being said. ALPHA'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE ILLEGAL. ALPHA HAVE STOLEN REFUNDS. ALPHA HAVE LIED TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. ALPHA HAVE MISSED DEADLINES.

Do you understand this??? Asking for a refund and receiving it is THE LAW IN THE UK, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT ALPHA SAY. So yes, they should be reported to agencies as they are acting like CRIMINALS.

ALPHA HAVE BREACHED THEIR T&CS so the agreement is already broken but I refer you back to what I wrote above and I'll say it again just in case you didn't get it. THEIR T&CS ARE ILLEGAL!!!! ASKING FOR, AND RECEIVING A FULL REFUND IS NOT A BREACH OF CONTRACT, IT IS THE LAW.

Is any of this getting through to you??

You are not being reasonable you are being ignorant. These FACTS have been pointed out many times and you have chosen to ignore them. If you want to overlook them and continue to bury your head in the sand that is up to you but everyone else is entitled to their RIGHTS UNDER THE LAW. If you choose to waive those rights, so be it, but don't come back here crying when the shit hits the fan.

offcourse no company is above the law.if you want to try and get a refund go ahead.i just hope it does not get them into so much trouble that they cant pay for parts.becasue then they will go under and my asic and money will be gone. in that case the refunders are to blame.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: July 20, 2014, 02:56:09 PM
you guys are tripping, the shipping was ALWAYS announced as q3, that means there is still 2 months and 11 days left.

stop behaving like a bunch of spoiled  sweet 16 teenager who says i hate you to theiur parents becasue they got a black ferrari and they wanted red....

the more trolls you have to deal with in email and on forums, the less time you have for buisness operations, and i speak from experience.

so stop this negative nancy bullshit and give them a chance to produce our asics

you cant know if its a scam until q3 is over, and they give no form of explanation and disapear forever. THEN you can say scam....

if you order a television on the internet, and the company say : we will deliver it between 12 o clock in the afternoon and 3.you dont call the police at 1 o clock.

i mean seriously.....

i would love to see a prototype, but one does not simply order 1 chip.....you get nothing or you get them all. this is not like ordering a damn washing machine.

some of these trolls could not even ship on time if they started a damn birdhouse factory

if something went wrong, then they should tell us, and banning people on their forim does not help their reputation, but that doesnt mean there is no product.stop making conclusions in your brain and projecting them onto them

Do you Know something we don't Bumface? Because I seem to remember you coming to this thread crying and whining like a baby, scared you were going to lose your money. Demanding to see a prototype and updates. Now suddenly you're "leave them alone you trolls" What has changed?

Personally I think I have your number and Edgar seems to have it too. You're the kind of person that doesn't give a shit about anyone but yourself. As long as YOU get your asic everyone else can go f**k themselves right?
It doesn't seem to matter to you that other people feel they have been let down by Alpha and want their money back. Judging from the way Edgar speaks of you that seems to be par for the course.

You seem to be forgetting that Alpha have been promising from pretty much the start that they were shipping in July. That is clearly not going to happen. They have already breached their T&Cs by not providing an EXACT shipping date and have 11 days (8 working days) to ship before they breach the 8-10 week final payment deadline. They have illegally STOLEN customer refunds, their timelime is out of the window, they have not provided a significant update for over 2 months and have now lost the ability to process credit cards.

If you're happy with all that and are willing to wait until 31 Sept 2014 for your asic by all means go ahead STFU and wait. But don't come here screaming and belittling those that are not. You'll get very short shrift. If you want to hold hands and sing Kum ba yah go to the Alpha forums. We'll be here when you're back in a few weeks, crying and asking us to help you get your money back.

you dont know me,and you know nothing about what kind of person i am. You should not judge people.

Someone should call Scotland Yard and tell them to check into Alpha to make sure that they are not funding terrorism. Watch them sweat then.

that`s very rasist...

Doctor from Alpha forum.

https://forum.alpha-t.net/index.php?topic=792.0

"In Alpha's case, that does not seem to be the scenario though. (Well... Other than getting a lot of hate; the self-fulfilling prophecy won't be hitting Alpha.)
There's some flexible options thanks to the awesome partners, and Alpha has (as far as I know from what I've been able to see) paid for some highly crucial parts out of their own pockets. It could make quite a loss when the final product is ready and not enough people finalize their order as agreed per the terms: but the miners will still be there anyway, and people who did pay in full as per the terms will most certainly receive 'em. (And then orders can be opened up to mitigate the initial losses by filling 'em up with new clients, I guess.)"

Another lie as Fiaz stated previously that 70% of the orders is fully paid! So they want to convince everyone this is not enough to show working prototype or at least some components? That does not make any sense. There is much more bs in this post but everyone can read and draw the right conclusions.

i dont agree and that post is actually reasuring me.It shows me somebody is taking us seriously and is doing his best to make things happen

This is for everybody and not specificly for you:

I have said this on multiple ocasions: dont call them a scam until the shipping date has passed (and then some).

There might be some complication that we dont know about, but the crypto community uses thew word scam way way way to quickly. When i made Ultracoin i was also attacked by a legion of trolls and it drove me nuts, and my intentions were good.

And he is actually right, all these people shouting stuff is turning credit card processors away.its a circle.....

there have been some wrong choices like banning people and stuff but that is no  basis to call it a scam.Lets just give them more time. i am in a hole for the big unit which is 10000 dollar and i cant loose it.Let`s be patient.

they have always said Q3 and anybody thathas fingers can see that that is between juli august september, that has not passed.

there is a thing called auto suggestion,if you look under every rock for a scam, then all you will see are "bad omens that its a scam".

but the truth is nobody can know if its a scam until 1 oktober
