282  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FairProof.com is a SCAM - Stole over 7.5BTC with the excuse of "investigating" on: October 30, 2014, 12:51:59 PM
I am taking a neutral stance from here.

I feel that both moreia and fairproof is acting very strange.

I will not disclose any more emails as per fairproof's request.
I just want the money I earned, simple as that. I've done nothing wrong, I didn't harm nor cheat his site therefor I'm entitled to my money
283  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FairProof.com is a SCAM - Stole over 7.5BTC with the excuse of "investigating" on: October 30, 2014, 08:33:43 AM
moreia is a scammer

moreia was involved in various Bitcoin HYIP/ponzi scams. moreia has also tried sending malware / wallet stealers, LOL.

FairProof, don't pay out this user.

While I do not consider any of this activity to be trustworthy, I do not think any of this is a valid reason to not pay moreia. If he won the money then he should be paid, end of story.

Unless it can be documented that the maleware that was sent by moreia had caused him to win when he should not have won then he should be paid.

Although admitting that the maleware had caused him to win would certainly be a black eye to your site, it is the only real reason why he should not be entitled to his winnings (I would not put it out of the question that this is what caused him to win)

As he says in this email, he was not infected and not affected by the malware sent by darksun, therefor,
He says that their system was not infected by the malware however he also does not say how he know it was malware. It is possible that he did not want to admit as such as it would cause gamblers to lose confidence in his site

if you find a piece of malware that is capable of rigging winnings on a gambling site, then I'll gladly drop this report.

I've never heard of such thing.

Do you have a link to the thread that you did this loan with account as collateral? And can you FairProof.com confirm the malware was sent via bitcointalk during the periods of 4th of September to the 19th of September?

I would actually argue that attempted social engineering or sending malware is not good enough reason to lock or take users funds. The fact they didn't give you a chance to respond to it, is also a bit unacceptable. I told the same thing to win88.me, that it's a dangerous and stupid line to cross to take punitive actions against accounts.

The correct course of actions they should have taken is asked you for a withdrawal address, sent you your money and banned you from using their services, which I would be fully in support of them doing.

The real problem here is now that you lost the money, it makes it unclear what is the right way to handle it. I read through your thread, and you made what looks to be dozens of good faith attempts to resolve it with them, and they showed clear lack of communication or proper handling. So i think the fair thing to do is them give you 4.3 and re-evaluate how they deal with this sort of stuff.
There is not a public thread but I do have PM records which I'll be posting in a new thread once all this is cleared up. One scammer at a time.
I'm waiting for Fairproofs response again. I'm promoting this thread when I get on my PC.
287  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FairProof.com is a SCAM - Stole over 7.5BTC with the excuse of "investigating" on: October 29, 2014, 02:38:19 AM
I've looked through my outbox and during the periods of the 14th of September to the 19th of September my account was in the possession of darksun22 for a loan
From what I can see, malware WAS SENT from this account in the fom of a dice bot. I'm going to post a scam accusation against darksun22 in the coming hours.

Fairproof did in fact notify that the item was malware, though, I do not se why this affects my BTC and why this wsnt mentioned earlier. This seems more like he is using that as an excuse not to pay.

That is a separate issue and I will deal with it accordingly, but this has nothing to do with my 4.3btc

Edit - copies of espringe messages are in my outbox, but not in my inbox. Funnily enough dark sun forgot to wipe all of the evidence.
288  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FairProof.com is a SCAM - Stole over 7.5BTC with the excuse of "investigating" on: October 29, 2014, 01:49:59 AM
I'm the creator and former owner of moneypot.com -- I have never heard of, or played at FairProof.com -- but I know their claim is accurate, as moreia tried to do the same thing to me via PM here at bitcointalk.

Screenshot: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/spa/f0lmlb6l9q465kn/665ygyv-.png

I also download the virus and ran it in a VM and confirm with 100% certainty that it is.

My account was in other control during that period for a loan, only for a few days. I can't locate this in my outbox. Can you forward me the PM's?

 Reserved for updates

Current update: ndhc is soon going to post a screenshot of some emails from fairproof, stating they think I was socially engineering them

If this was the case, why was my account unlocked? How come they didn't post this to the public?
Because it's a lie, that's why.

Waiting for my 4.3btc.
292  Economy / Scam Accusations / FairProof.com is a SCAM - Stole over 7.5BTC.. No response since Nov 10 on: October 29, 2014, 01:23:18 AM
Moreia, you act very strange. Nevertheless we provide you with a bad luck bonus which is 1.5 BTC.
We close this case and nobody could not claim FairProof as a Scam.
I still have not received the promised 1.5BTC from fairproof, it has now been months with no response and countless emails and support requests sent

EDIT DEC 31 2014 - end of the year, sadly, no sign of my 1.5BTC - 7.3BTC compensation, no sign of fairproof. Haven't logged in for months.

Hello bitcointalk
In the last month I've been waiting for my fairproof account to be unlocked for withdrawal. At first, they stated my account was under investigation due to the fact that my account was winning a lot and thought I was cheating. Since I wasn't cheating I wasn't phased at all. I had worked up my 1BTC (0.5btc deposit+0.5btc bonus) to a nice 4.3BTC and I wanted to pull out and withdraw. Days had past, I had been posting daily in the FAIRPROOF thread. People began to watch, a few Memebers decided to support me, and then weeks past, and I gave up hope.
After two weeks of waiting, and after fairproof not even logging into his account not even once, I decided to have a gamble, hope to either win big or bust my balance. I knew my coins were gone anyway, I didn't want to wait nor did I want to continue posting daily hoping for a response. I got my balance to 7.5btc then began 10x on .2btc base bet, an impossible way to make bank. I busted, 7 bets of 1BTC on 10x. I wasn't phased, my coins were gone anyway, I had already been scammed even if I had won 100btc.
A day or so later, fairproof emails me saying my account is unlocked but "unfortunately" all of my funds had been lost gambling. As soon as I saw this, I knew straight away I was scammed since the beginning, this was his plan. He simply waited out until I gave up hope and gambled, and eventually lost. Smart move, I guess, but I am now not giving up.

What am I asking for?
4.3btc, the original amount I had when I promised I WOULD NOT gamble until I get my money. I am not asking for interest, or 7.5btc that I won, just what I originally stopped at.

Why am I asking for this?
Since this one loss busted my entire Bitcoin balance, I have nothing left, I am $3,000 in debt and I need these coins to keep me on my feet.

I really need these funds. I hope that in common decency and the fact to keep their site alive and doubt free, fairproof will pay up...

TO FAIRPROOF
My address is on my profile
The amount owed is 4.3BTC, no more and no less.

I would appreciate someone with default trust helps me out. All evidence is on top of the OP.

Countdown. 42 hours to go.

Edit: last online is on 6th. no email. no response from around that time.
Should we give more time?
(if this a scam, we will be letting more people fall into this)

Edit2: Already lot of negative trust feedback for OP. added mine. Will remove after payment.

Since they haven't been online, I will wait a few more days until I see them online. I'm not that inclined to make a report as it may decrease my chances of getting the withdrawal. Last thing I want is to lose it because of being hostile toward the site.
They are going to come online sooner or later, so i'll just have to wait

I've also put in my negative feedback until the withdrawal is processed, even though I believe this is all just a big case of terrible support.
Good luck moreia on getting your bitcoins!
thanks for the support niothor

Sorry for delay, but now your account is unlocked.
Unfortunately you've lost your funds because you keep on playing during the investigation.

lol what bs you didnt log on for 3 weeks even if you was investigating you could said something in this thread, like the guy above said you waited for him to lose to come back

Exactly
I'm posting scam accusations around the web
He just waited for me to lose all of my coins then came back when I lost
I want the original 4.3BTC, as I halted all gambling at this stage, then gave up hope and just did some ridiculous gambling as I thought (and now proven that I was) I was scammed

Scam report here, and on multiple other sites is going up tonight, until I get the 4.3BTC which is owed to me. And this is a LUCKY figure as you made me wait 24 days, and I got my balance to 7.5BTC before busting, not even considering interest.

You've got 6 hours to send 4.3BTC to the address on my profile, or the scam report is up. I'm not waiting for your garbage again

Any evidence to support your posts? Nope, none at all. You're basically calling me a shores hit person because I'm invested here, and I do not appreciate that.

Also, I now have 115GH/s on my Zenminer account.  If the red feedback I have concerns you, I paid s1lverbox back with EXTRA BTC and he has since refused to remove the negative feedback because I was 3 days late.  He refuses to edit the feedback which I don't understand either.  I have received no contact from him since returning his BTC though.

as trough PM, you don't need this loan anymore?

sorry, you have some negative feedback from trusted people, I can't do this unless you provide some collateral

Monbux won't reply, that's the only trusted user. Trust was left over a year ago now.
As for the other to, if you consider tradefortress who stole over 4,000BTC trusted, I guess that makes anyone on this forum trusted, doesn't it?
Makes no sense imo, plenty of positives there to do with loans, and you base it off a trust from over a year ago, and two from trolls
