281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less price = more profit? on: March 02, 2019, 05:00:52 AM
Friends, does it make sense to take very cheap altcoins <$ 1? I think about buying, but I am interested in your opinion. Will they leave the market and exchanges, with such a strong fall?
You still don't understand cheap altcoin. Its price needs to be evaluated on its supply. if the supply is low and its price is below $ 1, it is a trivial altcoin.
Take a look at the supply, the community, the idea of expanding business, that's what we need to care about.
when those criteria meet the criteria, then you will need to analyze the price fluctuations. That's the right way to invest. Wink
282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which platform is best for Trading? on: February 28, 2019, 12:49:34 PM
I have not traded in many large exchanges for a long time. The price of altcoins usually does not fluctuate too large and it usually does not bring much profit for me.
I think decentralized exchanges are great. Although the transaction fee is a bit high, it is still a negligible number.
Trading on the decentralized floor has a lot of interesting things and its volatility is very predictable. You can try trading with a small amount.
283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Reasons Noobs Fail At Trading on: February 28, 2019, 12:43:02 PM
Those are the most basic mistakes. They often suffer losses when not using the stoploss command. It is an essential command for a professional trader.
Besides, they are impatient in investing. they are often scared when the price of the coin has just gone down 1-3%. then they often tend to sell it and wait for lower prices to buy. that's the worst strategy I've ever known and they often make mistakes at that point.
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for when Getting Stuck on: February 28, 2019, 12:29:25 PM
Yesterday I placed a trade and was aiming for just a 1% profit on the trade. I left it hanging and the trade it did not clear... Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

It's still just sitting there and it is way below my target price.  DO you just sell that thing and start over?

DO you hold on and just... wait???
You are impatient and I guess this is your first time trading. You should place an anti-hole order instead of waiting for its price to change, it will waste a lot of your time.
Find out about stoploss and how to order stoploss smartly, you won't have to worry anymore.
285  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto as a payment method for goods: what to expect in 2019 on: February 27, 2019, 02:54:35 PM
I really like this idea. crypto should be used as a currency to pay for service costs. If we travel to other countries, we don't need to exchange money. We only need to scan the QR code or decrypt the crypto card, the payment will be completed. It is much faster and more convenient.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptoslate Let Users Reward Content Creators Through Brave Browser on: February 27, 2019, 02:41:13 PM
You can now provide support to your favorite content creators using the Brave Browser.

The Brave Browser only has one mission in life: to fix the internet by providing users with a faster, safer, and better browsing experience. At the same time, the Brave browser platform utilizes attention-based rewards to offer support to content creators.

I think Brave is actually quite similar to Steemit. A new business is established and Brave needs a lot of smart marketing strategies to get a lot of people to join its channel.
Steemit really did well and now it attracts hundreds of thousands of hits a day.
Hopefully Brave will have a higher reward level than Steemit and get a better interface.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will the price of coin be up soon? on: February 26, 2019, 10:26:51 AM
today I see eth and bitcoin prices starting to rise little by little, is this the beginning of bitcoin and eth prices going up? is it the right time to sell or hold back? please advise from all of you
we can call it recovery but we can't call it uptrend. Our market is only slightly recovered and it is more stable than the volatility of 2018. This is also a good sign because I like this growth and stability. although it does not increase much, it ensures its sustainable value in a distant future.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: JP Morgan Coin only created to dump XRP price? on: February 26, 2019, 10:22:27 AM
consider the following:

JP Morgan want to buy a large amount of XRP. To make more profit JPM first "created" the JPM Coin and spread FUD (JPM Coin = XRP Killer) so that XRP price goes down and JPM can buy XRP for a cheaper price. The JPM Coin only has this purpose...

thoughts?

Tin foil hat posts are allowed in this thread - don't forget JPM spread lies about Bitcoin in the past.
I think he won't do that. I think it's just a collaboration between XRP and JPM. You know, the SEC organization in the United States is really a very strict organization for manipulation. In addition, JPM is a very large enterprise and it is under the control of SEC. they will not be made all their bad intentions. Cheesy
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy now or wait? on: February 26, 2019, 10:07:51 AM
Hi, i am wondering if i should buy a little bit of top 20 coins at current prices, 8th dec 2018, or wait until the market gets lower. What do you guys do?

I have bought the current dip, or at least... when market cap was still around 120 billion usd. Following my policy to buy after huge drops only, i planned to buy the next dip if market cap is around 60 billion usd. But should i not buy the current dip twice? Because what if the bakkt launching next month is succesful? What if it gets followed up by the ETF getting approval in the february sec-decision? What if it all comes paired with new developments that occur? Is this a realistic scenario for short-term?

What would you do, if you were following my plan/policy? I don't buy with large amounts so i can take some losses, what do you think is best?
Portfolio diversification is good but don't buy too many altcoins because that proves you haven't thoroughly analyzed. We only need to invest 3-5 altcoins and carefully analyze before investing.
Buy at the moment, I feel that our market is about to be pumped after this dump.
I recommend you only buy ETH and XRP. Those 2 altcoins are struggling to win 2nd place and it is constantly increasing in recent years.
290  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: which is the best Hardware wallets? on: February 25, 2019, 01:03:07 AM
I'm thinking about buying a hardware wallet and I want to know your opinion?... Which one do you recommend me to buy? and why?

Thanks  Wink
I think you should not buy hard wallets anymore. Currently in ETH's wallet system has updated a new wallet type is MEWconnect. It has a different level of security than Ledger Nano S and it will save you up to $ 150. Visit Myetherwallet and experience it.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: February 25, 2019, 12:52:24 AM
a lot of good news coming in wavesplatform
in the last few days, waves price growing hardly, even rise more than 100% my friend

is this a sign if waves will be the next ethereum ?

Waves and ETH are two different platforms and it really shouldn't be compared. ETH has its own strength and a large community, Waves is just a tiny guy.
With the past news, Waves has greatly increased the price and I congratulate investors who have trusted the Waves but to be comparable to ETH, it needs a longer period of 10 years.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My thought on Hardfork on: January 10, 2019, 01:31:40 PM
This has always been a trend and we should all learn from it.
Whenever you hear the rumour of any hardfork, you should know that it is meant to pump the coin that is to be forked. So, if you want to partake in it, buy it while the price is still low at the time of the rumour and do not hesitate to sell when it pumps, else whales most especially will dump on you.

Avoid being carried away by the news of hardfork.
It is a trend and that will always happen to every forked coin.

Just my candid advise!!!
I understand your advice and thank you so much. But the hard-fork at the time of the market is at the bottom is a very smart thing.
Big whales will just need to pour some money to pump altcoin easily and this is an opportunity for us to get rich. BCH has been very successful and I think ETH will be even more successful. let's see!
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign on: January 10, 2019, 01:23:37 PM
Can someone clear me out for these 2 things?

What is the difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign?

Thanks
Airdrop and bounty are different at the difficulty of the task you need to complete. In bounty campaigns, their salaries are higher but they have to work harder. The airdrop program opens just to expand the project's influence and it often focuses on tasks like sharing and liking articles . so its salary is lower because it is easy to finish.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future looks bright on: January 10, 2019, 01:21:28 PM
Hey guys according to technical analysis cryptomarket has a great potential to go up soon. Bitcoin can still fall to 2200$, however I think it won’t happen. And with launch of Bakkt, crypto is going to rock! Do you agree?
I believe that electronic money will have a bright future and the price of altcoins will grow by more than 50% in 2019. This is a very potential market and it will attract big players in the field of technology.
The longer we persist and work in this market, the more we will be rich in the future.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Money - The Greatest Scam on: January 09, 2019, 12:32:20 PM
I would say that paper currency is the greatest scam ever to enslave mankind.

Bankers charge interest for a thing which has been created out of thin air.

The paper currency gradually decreases in its value due to inflation over time.

So naturally people tend to move towards cryptos which are free from inflation and the bankers and big economists once again want to pull back people to the traditional enslaving system.

Now the choice is yours.

Enslavery or Financial Freedom?

Think Wise and Twice.
Everywhere there is its risk. Fiat money is something that has been associated with us for thousands of years and is still condemned quite a lot now. crypto will soon become a victim when too many people use it.
Let everything go naturally, don't try to change or try to get rid of something that has been around for too long. It was a big mistake.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: PREDICTION IS SOMETIMES LIKE A FALSE PROMISE on: January 09, 2019, 12:28:48 PM
Last year saw many people predict BTC year-end prices, but nothing was validated with time. it is very difficult for BTC to reach predictable prices. Future price predictions fail to consider many factors and problems that may occur over time. Maybe, we can only estimate the value of assets for the next few days like weather experts.
You will not even know what the price of tomorrow is because the future is never predictable.
So instead of guessing the price, we should analyze more about the technology value of altcoins for long-term investment. That would be a good way.

298  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: November 20, 2018, 05:13:37 PM
As we witnessed a bearish year which lasted longer than the prediction and some people was it was the bad year for crypto but i feel it was a the year of correction as the value of crypto were overachieved at the end of 2017. Hence we are having a correction period to what the real value should had been? Kindly share your opinion.
I think that any market after the explosion to a very high level, they will return to the original is even worse. So we should not be disappointed by the bad years of the crypto market that believe the next few years, crypto will be more popular in the world and their prices will be restored.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people will drive Bitcoin adoption more than the older generation. on: November 20, 2018, 04:54:02 PM
We know that younger people these days are used to everything being faster and more efficient, because they have been exposed to technological innovation from their birth.

The younger people entered this world at a much faster pace than the older generation and they are being bombarded with choices like no generation before them. They are also used to instant gratification, because technology has enabled a world where things happens almost instantaneously.

Bitcoin is just another technology where things are done more efficiently and much faster than the traditional options available and the younger generation are drawn to these technologies, like a moth to a flame.

Bitcoin should be applied to all services where there are a need for more speed and efficiency, to draw in the younger generation that are constantly searching for that.

Do you agree? Let's discuss this and see if we can target the correct demographic with this technology.  Cool
Of course, for young people, they would want bitcoin or other altcoins to be used universally. However, the majority of the rich and the rulers are old people and they are not exposed to technology as we do. That made the older people protest crypto because they thought it was dangerous and not useful. But in the future that will change
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: November 20, 2018, 04:39:10 PM

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.

Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?
time to invest is really not important. The most important thing is that you have to be patient and try hard. Because if you want the market to recover and the price of cryptos is high, everyone involved in the market must be active. If we just want to buy and hold when it raises prices, crypto will not last long
