Nice man, really enjoyed your video, the voice over is not perfect but audible enough to make sense of what you trying to convey, it will just get better over time. That dancing scene was really cool to watch and I like how you synchronised it with the deeponion features, real good work man.

I have been watching DeepOnion too, and also following it on deep onion.org. It looks to me like the members who are "In" the airdrop try especially hard to not let anyone else in, in order to not share the spoils of their making.
This might be fine, but I think the shortsighted way they are going about this will have a very negative longer term impact on the project as a whole. Not only will there be more limited distribution but there will be a long tail of people who will snipe and badmouth the project every step of the way.
Just my opinion from reading the posts - which by the way is a pay because the project itself could go places if greed wasn't so obvious.
This absolutely not true, everyone can attest to the fact that we try and help each and everyone have a successful entry to the DeepOnion airdrop, there are tons of articles, tutorials that basically cover everything from joining the airdrop to our most recent feature DeepVault. I would really like you to post in the official forum so we can see how we can assist in what you have an issue with. On the contrary all members are as friendly as can be, there is no benefit to do what you assuming is happening. We need the coin to reach as many hands as possible but in a controlled way not to repeat previous events where we had up to 9 accounts linked to one member.

So is there some sort of schedule of how many coins will be airdropped? Or is this just random?
This Friday week 13 will be done, see below. Quoted from the Official Forum Round Number Total Coins to be Distributed in this Round (ONIONs) 1 150,000 2 150,000 3 150,000 + 150.000 (+150.000 Bonus payment from dev team) 4 150,000 + 150.000 (Double pay by system error) 5 150,000 (- 50.000 smooth fix) 6 150,000 (- 50.000 smooth fix) 7 150,000 (- 50.000 smooth fix) 8 200,000 9 200,000 10 200,000 11 250,000 12 250,000 13 250,000 14 250,000 15 250,000 16 250,000 17 300,000 18 300,000 19 300,000 20 300,000 21 300,000 22 300,000 23 350,000 24 350,000 25 350,000 26 350,000 27 350,000 28 350,000 29 400,000 30 400,000 31 400,000 32 400,000 33 450,000 34 450,000 35 450,000 36 450,000 37 450,000 38 450,000 39 500,000 40 500,000 Total: 12,500,000

I really like the fact that it looks like DeepOnion is not just another altcoin. At least to me it does not feel like an altcoin at the moment. Most altcoins have a very small community and are only active in the first weeks.
Agree, Deeponion is fresh and distinguish itself from other alts with ongoing development and a kickass community. We here to Dominate!

Oh wow, I didnīt know about this. Now I understand how valuable will be DeepVault. Itīs something new and it can attract a lot of people from differents altcoins including Bitcoin too.
I want to know the possible uses of this feature. Someone said this can be a good tool for lawyers and accountants. I donīt understand why. Can someone explain me please?
This is where it gets tricky. It could in theory be used for a range of different use cases including notary services and patent law. However, none of these use cases has been ever tested in courts. So lets say you want to utilize this feature for storing a timestamp hash of unregistered intellectual property on the blockchain. This is really handy because the typical problem with enforcing unregistered intellectual property is the inability to prove its ownership or whether it is still in the period of protection. With the timestamped hash of your intellectual property stored on the blockchain, you can in theory prove both of those things. But as this has never been tested in courts (at least as far as I know) we have no way of knowing how the courts would evaluate such evidence. And this is true for all legal documents. Thanks for your kindly answer @cdb1690. I think DeepVault will be very usefull in some time. As we know all this crypto world is something new. It will take some time to get a massive adoption and the people must to understand the uses. Hope it will be soon. I believe the blockchain technology is the future. PD: @crypto-rainbow, is there any new about DeepSend? or maybe another new feature or exchange? Thanks. Another brilliant use case can also be for companies that issue digital account statements, these can be registered and verified via the DO network. So if a user receive an account statement whether it be pdf, html, pdf, sms etc. accompanied with the wallet address can be verified by the end user if authenticity comes into doubt.

DeepVault works flawlessly, very happy with this feature, I verified this Airdrop Poster. Congratulations, your document (C:/Users/abs1/Documents/deepOnion content/wallpaper/friday13.png, 644685 bytes) is authentic and unaltered since the time of last registration on the DeepOnion Blockchain!

hi, just want to clarify regarding deepvault. deepvault only stores file hashes, not the actual files, right? if we have a set of 100 small files that needs to be hashed and stored, do we need to pay 100 onions for this and transact 100 times? or just 1 onion for storing 100 file hashes in 1 transaction?
I believe its 1 onion per document registration, verifying the files are free. Could you zip or rar all the files? Then you can just hash the 1 compressed folder instead of individual documents. I'm not sure hey, I think @jimmybob_007 is best suited to answer this one.

DeepOnion with DeepVault v1.3 Released! Update recommended. Thanks for the great news devs, can't wait to try it. DeepVault is a great feature in my opinion, it's good that the file hash is stored on the blockchain, so there's no way it can be modified. I would maybe add one advantage that was not mentioned in the post, but is very important. The DeepVault does not only prove that some file is unmodified original, it can also prove when it was created. This can be very useful for example for some authorship / patent disputes, where it is important to show who authored some documents first. With DeepVault, we'll be able to show in which block the file hash was recorded, which gives also proof of time. It is initially designed for our users security. But there is vast usage areas. Digital products, important files, documents... The user can know the correct file from the dev team safely can use. So malware and virus threats eliminated. Very well done on this release, you guys did good and it shows we on track with development, awesome!
