Alright I made it to Full Member this week, changed my signature and hopefully still in time for the airdrop! Has to be as the snapshot/check will be done tomorrow morning right?  |

I've got a question about the airdrop FAQ, point 8 ("Where do we need to make 10 posts per week? Across all of the bitcointalk forums"):
Does the counting include this thread as well?

So I read rules on first page...lot of rules lol...I downloaded the wallet and tried to get some nodes for it, when I clicked on link it took me on website deeponion forum. Is this site mentioned in rules? I think I'll go slowly with this. By the way someone put lot of work in this |

Hello all, its great to finally be able to apply to join this fantastic drop. I have been watching this space for ages now, fingers crossed i have done everything as required and can join the vast community of enthusiasts rooting for this project. Everyone over the DeepOnion forum has been very helpful also.

I've got another question, since this whole signature campaign is new to me:
Is it safe to switch ones signature?
What I mean is, is that as a Sr. member I have the option to choose between 2 signatures. The one I'm currently using, I'm finding a bit "shouting", so I would like to switch to the other one instead. If I were to do that, would that affect my post counting?

As far as I understand, as long as you switch to the alternative signature (appropriate for your bitcointalk member level) correctly, all of your posts for the current period will count towards your Airdrop eligibility for that same period. |

Hey welcome! You should be good as long as you have had consistent activity in the forum prior to joining and have the 10 non-spammy, quality posts required each week. They also have to be over 50 characters. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t happen to get accepted at first.. sometimes it can take a bit before your posts get reviewed and approved based on the criteria. |

I was disconnected some days from DeepOnion because my father had an accident, but everything is fine now and I'm back!

I have been watching DeepOnion too, and also following it on deep onion.org. It looks to me like the members who are "In" the airdrop try especially hard to not let anyone else in, in order to not share the spoils of their making.
This might be fine, but I think the shortsighted way they are going about this will have a very negative longer term impact on the project as a whole. Not only will there be more limited distribution but there will be a long tail of people who will snipe and badmouth the project every step of the way.
Just my opinion from reading the posts - which by the way is a pay because the project itself could go places if greed wasn't so obvious.

No! I'm very happy to see more people getting Airdrops because that means more expansion. I have made a thread like this to help people join and I also answer PMs to people who want advices to be able to join. https://deeponion.org/community/threads/guide-i-got-blacklisted-now-what.2888/You have to understand the amount of people who cheat, too many people want to take advantage of DeepOnion and that's why our Community wants something regulated, because that's how you can achieve a successful Airdrop. If you can't join right now, be patient and maybe you can join in the future. I was in position too, more than 1 month trying to get in because I couldn't fill the rules and now I am very happy to be patient those days. |
