What an unfortunate turn of events for Multan Sultans this season. They were looking very strong, holding their position and winning matches and dominating, and then, all of a sudden, they lost 3 consecutive matches, and Islamabad United has taken the second position sending Multan from 2nd to 3rd.

Both Multan Sultans and Islamabad United have two matches left, and it'll be interesting to see who will be among the top two to secure a chance for themselves to still quality for the final even if they lose their first match.

In the third ODI match between Bangladesh vs England, Bangladesh entered the field against England with a whitewash at the Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. When he came down to bat first against England, he was able to accumulate 246 runs for 10 wickets in 48.5 overs on the scoreboard. The opening two batsmen were out early but the middle order handled the batting disaster very well. Shakib Al Hasan played the highest innings for the team with 75 (71). When the English came to bat with a target of 247 runs, the Bangladeshi bowlers put a lot of pressure on the England batsmen from the beginning. As Shakib Al Hasan is the best in batting today, Shakib Al Hasan is the best in bowling. Shakib bowled 10 overs today and took four valuable wickets for just 35 runs. As a result, Bangladesh came back brilliantly in this match and defeated the English by 50 runs.

In addition to winning this match, world number one all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has touched another milestone. He touched the milestone of 300 wickets in ODI cricket.  Congratulations to Shakib Al Hasan for achieving such a big milestone. He is the first Bangladeshi to take 300 wickets in ODI cricket.

Karachi Kings ended the innings for 164/6 with Rossington being the high scorer. Both the teams take the last two positions on the points table. Win from Karachi Kings would move the team one position high, whereas the win from Quetta Gladiators won't make any changes to the points table.

Quetta Gladiators have lost two early wickets. Guptill and Iftikhar Ahmed on the crease would lead the team towards win. In 6 overs Quetta Gladiators have scored 43/2, which shows the required run rate is 8.71 rpo and the current rate is 7.17rpo, if there is no wicket fall the score will be reached easily.

Currently, England is playing aggressive cricket in all formats and their new approach in this game is surely having big impact on their success and just because of this, Bangladesh was not able to perform better in this second ODI; in first 20 overs, match was well-balanced, but suddenly Roy's attacking strategy works just because of this they were able to have big target on board in this Jason Roy, Joe Buttler and Moeen Ali all were key player after having target like this Bangladeshi batting were under pressure from start which give them big setback from the start of their batting inning early bellows not allowed them to have any aggressive approach, and they lost this second match and series badly.

In recent months, we have big decline in Bangladesh performance while they are having not better domestic setup which allow them for having better players and give their best in all formats of this game if they want to stay in better spot then surely they need to change their strategy in this game.

Their is a reason for the increase and it might not not be as bad as we think. I believe the 2026 world cup will be very interesting with new chances.  If fifa increase the number of teams that will be participating it doesn't  mean their will lots of weaker teams that will be participating in the competition.

The Asia Cup and the World Cup both are popular in cricket. However the biggest tournament of cricket is the world cup. Whatever Pakistan take the decision about the venue it must be well understood otherwise they may be in a large economic crisis. Plus and minus calculations need to be done very cautiously otherwise they may also have to give great compensation. However, If ICC , India and Pakistan Cricket Board can take reliable decision that would be good for the cricket.

UAE is playing against PNG and so far performance of PNG is not good in this league and its expected that UAE will win this match comfortably. UAE 50/1 in 13 overs. Remaining matches of Nepal, UAE and PNG are against each other. Its a kind of triangular series now since all remaining teams have played there 36 matches. ICC must take this into account too that UAE, USA and Oman are developed countries compared to Nepal. In other words Nepal deserve more funds of ICC then others.

The possibility of a draw is highly unlikely! India will win the next test match in Ahmedabad as they have hardly lost any test series in Indian for sometime now. Indore pitch was bad but Indian batters cannot hide behind it. I am pretty confident that the Indian batters like Rohit, Shubhman, Jadeja and Iyer will play sensible cricket in the next match. The bowling has been great so far. Umesh Yadav was able to take three wickets on a pitch that was helping spinners. So bowling is not a concer but batting is a big concern for now.

Today's Pakistan Super League match is between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars.
Batting first, Lahore Qalandar collected 180 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.It can be called a fighting score in T20 cricket.

After giving a huge target of Mumbai 208 I thought the first match of WPL might be going to be competitive. But I did not imagine that the players of Gujarat Giant will bat so badly. After 12 overs, Gujarat's collection is 49/7. Dayalan Hamalatha scored 24 runs off 17 balls. Gujarat's 4 batsmen returned to the dressing room with zero runs. The Gujarat giants conceded a humiliating defeat in the first match. They will probably lose by 130-140 runs.

We are having some phenomenal matches in this year's PSL and yesterday's match was one of those. No one could have predicted that Lahore Qalandar will stand out as the winner after showing a poor batting performance batting first. All credit goes to the Lahore Qaladars bowlers to keep taking wickets at regular intervals and finally turning the match in their favor.

The tournament is almost at the halfway point as 18 matches have been played out of the total 34 matches. It's worth seeing the points table now to get a feeling on which team is cruising their way and which teams are struggling to keep up in the tournament.

Looking at the state of the match, it is clear that England has great potential in this match. Because England has been able to give a big target to Bangladesh, but Bangladesh has not been able to collect any runs as expected. As such, I see very little chance of victory for Bangladesh.

Media rights was sold for ₹951 crores (2023-27 cycle), which was 5x more than what the BCCI expected. Given that there are 22 matches in this season, there is a potential to earn ₹10 crore plus from the ticket sales, which is not a small amount (almost 5% of the annual media rights amount). And I believe that there is enough fanfare for the women's game in India to achieve this figure. Tickets are priced from ₹100 onwards. But I agree that a limited number of tickets can be distributed for free. Maybe 5,000 tickets per match. Anyway, thousands of tickets are given as complementary to the judges, IAS/IPS, politicans.etc. So why not a few for the common people?

Such a quick finish, wickets falling every now and then. The pitch has no mercy for poor batsmen. Highest runs scored in both innings are 60 by Usman Khawaja. This clearly tells how much support pitch has for bowlers. I wrote earlier that wikcets fell because the ball is not bouncing at all. May be they can design  a better pitch for 4th test otherwise India might lose the match and series may end in a draw.

Bangladesh is a very weak team in chasing which is known to almost everyone in the cricket world. The target set by England 325 is a big challenge for them to play. Their back-to-back wickets at the start had a big effect on the match. At the moment their required run rate is above 8.5 so the match is gradually getting more difficult. The batsmen are not able to play big short in any way due to the attack of the bowlers. Perhaps the hope of the Bangladesh team is not fulfilled due to the fall of the early wickets of some good batsmen. At this moment, the Bangladesh team has collected 84 runs in 20 overs.

Performing better than the previous year yet ending up 2nd last in the points table wouldn't really help Karachi Kings. They will need to up their game from this point or they will be out of the competition in the next couple of games if they keep going the same route.

I don't understand what's wrong with them, it is definitely not due to their owner not being present which is logically not a reason the team shouldn't be able to perform well, but their coaches and trainers and selecting department will need to come up with something very quickly. The team is not up to the mark, if in a match they bowl well, batting goes against them, and when batting is in their favor, bowlers fail to deliver. Things are not lining up for them.

UAE look better they score 207 in 50 over with a two half centuries which is not a bad performance for team like this, while on the other hand Nepal are completely off color because during chasing only single player of them Kushal Malla score half century no other batter help them while chasing and due to that reason they just score139 before all dismissal, it show that cricket is a team game if you didn't perform like a team then defeat is confirmed. In my view UAE are far better than them from any angle because if they can beat a team like Afghanistan who has world class batter and bowler then Nepal is not a big problem for them to deal

Only 75 runs lead LOL! What was the Indian team thinking? Just thinking about Virat's PR team after constant failure in the BGT, he still is still part of playing 11 whereas KL Rahul was stripped from his vice captainship and is out of the test team. Okay! I remember he did score a ton against Bangladesh in Bangladesh. When will start scoring on home grounds? This test match either would have nail bitting finish tomorrow or will be completely dominated by the Australian side. Another match in the BGT that ends on the 3rd day.

Edit: Forgot to mention the star bowler Umesh Yadav. He took 3 wickets in just 5 overs on a pitch that supports spinners and not pacers. Why is no one talking about him on this thread?

We can't predict who will be the winner at this point, but hopefully, by tomorrow, things will be clearer. Aussies still have 6 wickets in their hands, and they can score 250 runs. For India to remain in the game, they must try to bowl out Australia before reaching 200. They have got rid of Usman Khawaja, Smith and Marnus Labuschagne, which is good, but Indian bowlers' job is not done yet. My prediction is Australia will score around 250.

Peshawer performance are not doubt awesome they score 200+ against the strongest bowling lineup of PSL so they will easy manage against the Karachi kings.
