281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long it takes ? on: November 04, 2018, 11:10:45 PM
I transfered 150$ btc from coinbase to binance .. and i diden't recive it yet .. 5 days until now ... ? Please help ?
Sometimes, sending from one exchange to another might encounter some delays. I am sure if you check through blockchain explorer, you would see that it has been sent from coinbase, but you can still confirm that. The delay might be as a result of network.
I think next time, you can try to send first to your offline wallet, if you do not mind the transaction fee you will use in sending back to exchange.
To put your mind at rest, you will still receive it, just that it might take some time.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake ico and bounty on: November 04, 2018, 11:05:04 PM
Pls what are the best way to detect fake ico and fake project... We can't continue working to promote them and later discovered that it is bounch of fake... We really need tools to detect fake ico
Unfortunately there are presently no tools out there to help you detect them. Except you decide to use your personal tool. That which you can do on your own, which is research.
Most times except on rare occasion, scam ICOs make use of fake team, so as to avoid bring detected and apprehended. So if you can work on that, you might get a glimpse to it, as to whether the project is scam or not.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no need to panic!!!!! on: November 03, 2018, 01:05:28 PM
The blockchain technology at this stage can be compared to the internet at its early stages, where mass adoption was also an issue. The internet was actually invented in 1969 but didn't get adopted until the 1990s, even then it wasn't accessible to everybody. But it has now become a necessity in every industry and for everybody worldwide.
The blockchain technology is at its infancy stage and it is already making innovations in different industries. Though there are a lot of restrictions against it presently and some nations do not want to adopt it, but it is not a technology that can be stopped and it will surely gain mass adoption with time.

What is your opinion about the blockchain technology?
First i would say blockchain is a ground breaking technology that has come to stay. It is therefore unstoppable. In my country, at first some people and even some hypocritical government officials as well as banks were against it. Presently, so many of them are now drifting towards it. At a point, the government was even considering how blockchain could be used by the central bank, in order to further benefit its financial system.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are dying on: November 03, 2018, 12:58:46 PM
what do you think about altcoin,do you think is the time to buy? am afraid because all my money is heading to zero.. Angry Angry
If your money is heading to zero, it means what you have are all shit coins which means you need to be careful on the type of coin you invest in.
I would advise you to pause, take your time to study the coin you intend investing in. Even by so doing, you might have the opportunity of finding better ones. So avoid being in haste and do your research.
You can also sell all those shit coins you think you have and get better ones, if it is not too late.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally ,a solution to fraudulent ICOs? on: November 03, 2018, 12:54:05 PM
Shocked As I was surfing the web today I came across this wonderful news=

https://cointelegraph.com/news/erc-20-co-author-proposes-new-ico-model-to-protect-investors-from-fraudulent-token-sales

very soon we will start seeing reversible ICOs projects which will reduced scammy and fraudulent project ,finally dreams are coming true, the capability of been able to reverse your invested money in any ICO is wow!
Whatever has advantage, also has its own disadvantage. Although, this is a step forward to protect investors in this era that we have so many scam ICOs.
This will make developers or CEOs of ICOs to be more careful and come up with genuine and good usecases before lunching their ICOs. Also, it will help to maintain the integrity of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
The exception here, would be with the spread of FUD. Owing to the fact that people easily react to even fake news.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1000$. Where to invest? on: November 03, 2018, 12:33:48 PM
Hey guys, I recently earned 1000$ and I don’t know where to invest it. Can you give me some recommendations? How to get profit in this red market.....
If the $1000 is all that you have as that your life savings, then i would suggest you do not invest everything into crypto, rather just take a portion out of it, that you can afford to loose and invest.
Nonetheless, if you can afford the loose the $1000, then you are free to invest, but choose your coins wisely, most especially if you are just starting as an investor, with little or no experience.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: November 03, 2018, 12:09:07 PM
So you have being wearing a signature for more that ten weeks. Each week you made more than 15 post on different thread on this forum. And just when you done with the campaign you have been asked to keep the signature for three more weeks while wait for stakes to be calculated. After stakes are calculated, it takes more than 3+ weeks for tokens to arrive in your wallet. and a month for the token to go on exchange. On exchange, all your token is worth for your hard work is just less than $50.
How do you feel?
How will you react?
If such should happen, it is certain the affected person won't be happy, except he has better things to fall back on.
Then no reaction can be put on, because you cannot blame anyone for that. I believe you would have studied a project critically well before joining the bounty. Therefore, whatever becomes of it should be the participant's sole responsibility.
For this reason also, do not depend totally on crypto, before you might nit be able to sometimes predict what becomes of the market.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Managing Your Altcoin Assets on: November 03, 2018, 12:04:29 PM
I have over a hundred different Altcoins, some I bought in ICO, some from Airdrop and bounty and some I bought from exchanges and selfdrop.

My problem is that I have an issue managing them, whether to sell some and keep some, but I don't even know the ones to sell and the ones to HODL, and they keep turning into shit, a help will be appreciated buddies
First, i want you to correct his this impression, that a good coin cannot turn into a shit coin, except the coin is a shit coin from the onset.
So, if you already know a coin does not have good prospects, you should sell and buy a better one or convert to fiat.
Only hold coins with potentials to rise in future. Coins that have active team members are better kept, so as to justify your long period of waiting.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Account Annihilation, It's Happening Now! Here's What To Do. on: November 03, 2018, 10:58:19 AM
Mine was also suspended. Every of my followers and those i am following have also been suspended. This has also happened to do many of my friends who are into cryptocurrency, who use their accounts for airdrops and bounties. The most surprising thing is that, it's been over a month since i used the account for cryptocurrency and yet it's been suspended. The twitter account i use frequently which belongs to my wife is still intact.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can’t trust anyone! on: November 03, 2018, 12:53:19 AM
Hey guys. Remember, in crypto sphere we can’t trust anyone! ICO rating sites are lying to us, you have to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH always! Remember this, and don’t let yourself be scammed!
Those who tend to strictly follow ICO listing sites sometimes get misled by what has been published. It has happened to me and since then, i thought within me, that i will never give room for that again.
Whatever can be averted, should be averted in order to avoid unnecessary mistakes.
Also, you would have rest of mind over that which you have done yourself and that you are sure of.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know which coins are good? on: November 01, 2018, 10:22:41 PM
Lots of coins are coming in every month. But I can't know which coin will good in future,  Always I face problem with my confusion. So, is there anyway to know which coins are good?

Thank You
There are so many ways in which you can know the coin that is good to invest in. Although, you might not be 100% sure, but that to a larger extent, you are sure of its authenticity.
Then, owing to the fact that we are now having more coins, that means that more work needs to be done in researching.
So, consider the website, community response both on bitcointalk thread and on social media, alongside other means.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: November 01, 2018, 10:16:01 PM
I'm Hoeda From Indonesian. I just tried to join today.
First I saw the enthusiasm of my friends in the village who had already mined bitcoin. About 3 years ago, my friend once invited me to join him.
but I refused, because at that time I was studying and working in one of the bona fide companies.
so I do not have time to spare.
and now I have graduated from my college.
then yesterday I accidentally saw my friend on Social Media, he has been successful with his efforts. I started chatting with her, she said her success was due to bitcoin.
after that I am more curious and interested to join to bitcoin.
many new things that I have not known here.
Now what should i do as a newbie and howto get bitcoin BTC ?

I hope the members who have long joined here can share his experience.
success for all of us!!
Sometimes, we find it hard to believe a thing until we have seen the evidence of it manifest in the person that tells us about such thing or introduces it to us. Personally, it was not as if someone was persuading me to join cryptocurrency. I just heard him talked about it and from there, i developed the interest in it. Today i am glad the keenness was triggered in me some months ago.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies must be careful on: November 01, 2018, 10:03:16 PM
What surprises me sometimes is that, some people are coming newly into crypto and they want to immediately start trading. Instead of them to first learn some rudiments, rather they want  to start earning first. Well, it is good to earn, but not doing the right thing at the right time, might make on to lose a great deal. Even if a newbie wants to start on time, he can start by investing  first
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of crypto money on: October 28, 2018, 09:52:57 PM
The future of the crypto currency is gradually getting brighter with the number of companies interested in developing it. people from all over the world also know the crypto currency and invest in it, and also the more sophisticated and complete blockcain technology makes people more trust with crypto currency
Companies these days are not just investing into cryptocurrencies that are already in the space, but some are also lunching theirs, because they have now come to realise the benefits embedded in the technology. Some are now bringing their businesses on blockchain in order to publicize it and make it known to the public for easy access, security and transparency. Some have been seen to yield positive results.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of the Altcoin in two years on: October 28, 2018, 09:47:24 PM
At present the market is very chaotic, many coin has nothing value but the price is high. This will change after about 2 years as the time in most altcoin's roadmap is after 2 years of product launch, then the Altcoin will actually return to real value. The Altcoin is really valuable at that price will go to moon. Do you think so?
Apart from individual project, cryptocurrency in general require a lot of patience, most especially when investing into ICO. When you invest into ICO, in most cases, do not expect it to immediately trade at ICO price after listing. Although, there are times it changes and before you know it, such project would have gone beyond the ICO price, which also require some patience, yet some will be in a haste.
296  Other / Archival / Re: Why to Invest in ICO? on: October 28, 2018, 09:42:28 PM
Why people invest in ICO when it is risky and these days most of the coins are dropping. Do you think ICOs are going to survive for a long time?
Sometimes, we still wonder, despite the situation of the market, some investors still manage to invest and some projects are still able to reach their hardcap. Then we begin to ask ourselves some questions like, so ICOs are still being invested in even at this time. Which is to tell us that there are still some good projects and some of the investors do not invest for immediate gratification, they believe in the future.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies? on: October 28, 2018, 09:38:33 PM
I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.
Most of the celebrities that we see who come to endorsed any crypto project know nothing or little about crypto, so how will they know if the project is good or not after they might have been paid. I do not even see why a genuine project with good offer, would need the endorsement of any celebrity. I just have to be careful with such project. Even though there is any other thing that attracts me to the project, mere seeing it endorsed by a celebrity, then i have to take critical look at it.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your biggest mistake up to now on: October 28, 2018, 09:33:22 PM
Recently

I bought iotx , and sold it after two days. Unfortunetly next day it listed on binance , iotx moon . I have lost of oppertunity of 12000$

Thats biggest mistake done recently. Share your ones ?

Read all posts , you can undertand where  our weak points. Some too early sell , some too early buy.

From mistakes we can learn
One of the biggest mistakes i made was done recently. I had almost a million siacash coin (scc). I sold it at a very low price thinking i had made a good decision. I left it without following it up for quite some time. Before i knew it, i discovered it had done more than x6 the price i sold mine. I was amazed and that made me to have a rethink again, never to dump my coins unnecessarily.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in ETH ? on: October 28, 2018, 09:28:51 PM
Recently ETH dropped below $300 , what do you think the future holds ?

Do you think it will still go below that?
Ethereum us not just one of the coins with good potentials, it is also a coin that can give you good profit in a short while. Ever since i came into crypto, i have always developed interest towards eth, because i realised the prospects embedded in it. So, no matter how it falls, it gas the tendency to rise again back to and beyond its former status. If you have sold yours, you can still buy back.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: October 24, 2018, 09:13:12 PM
That was the collapse of ETH, because most of the airdrop and bounty programs were through the ERC-20 platform. Do you think the same thing happened?
For your information, eth did not collapse, so that is a misconception. Rather, i would say that the present bearish marker has made it to plummet. Then the reduction in its price was not caused by bounty hunters and neither was it caused by airdrop participants. Instead, i would say that it was caused by you and i and not necessarily because of our activities on bounty, but mainly because of our fears.
