Other than a paper wallet in your pocket, nothing is 'safe'. As far as websites go, these guys are one of the better places to go at the moment.

Nothing is perfectly safe anywhere.
Even your paper wallet could get lost , you might drop it , it can get soak somebody could steal it from you.
There is no perfect way in which to hold your coins , and there is no perfect way in which to hold anything of value.

Stunna
The last sig you made , you intentionally left the hyperlink out of it , making it non-clickable or was it a mistake?

I think there are lots of them , browsing through and reading all this stuff sends at least 4 -5 of them to a mental institute each month I would guess.
285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we still early adopters? Or did that pass after 2010/2011? on: November 25, 2013, 08:28:15 AM
The number of bitcoin "users" , people who actually buy and sell things with bitcoin has barely doubled in the last year.
The whole blockchain holds 27 mil transactions , 1/5 of visa's daily transactions.

It's still the begging.
286  Other / Meta / Re: (PETITION) The act of BUYING/SELLING Bitcointalk.org Accounts (Poll) on: November 25, 2013, 08:23:44 AM
Try to ban this and price for "good" accounts will just rise , and more people will try creating good accounts , lots of spam....useless enforcing on a community that tries to get out of it
287  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: November 25, 2013, 08:21:28 AM
It's dust , you gonna spend a lot to be able to send this , it's like they are given you pieces of a coin and you have to glue them.
288  Economy / Economics / Re: I am getting tired of BTC on: November 25, 2013, 08:19:25 AM
If you stay and monitor every price change all day long you'll get tired pretty easy.
Check it once twice a day , have an alarm for extreme price change and go out more often Cheesy
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: which one will you buy Gold or Bitcoin on: November 25, 2013, 08:17:21 AM
All you goldbugs know that the feds keep track of large purchases of gold and silver?

Wouldn't be surprised if it starts getting confiscated when a "crisis" erupts.

It happend in the communist countries , and let me tell you that it didn't stop people from buying and hiding gold.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: HOW WE CAN SLOWLY BOOST BITCOINS TOWARDS MASS ADOPTION on: November 25, 2013, 08:12:40 AM
My personal approach has been to push everyone that I know in the E-Commerce space towards adoption - it's a no-brainer - paypal and the banks have shafted them long enough

Bitpay's latest data showing adoption by over 10,000 merchants and $6.4mn in action in September helps make that pitch (was on TC)

You can have 100 millions merchants , what it matters is if the clients pay with btc , those numbers from bitpay are all related to mining rigs

294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Say No to ASIC LTC/Scrypth please read this &forward topic on: November 24, 2013, 03:01:04 PM
As we know last day we can read about asic ltc /scrypth pre-order ...

There are lot of us GPU miner (more then asic -btc ),when there are many people involved in this it is more like that ,more people we hear for litecon, probably one of the best scrypth coin that this days is becoming really worth as SILVER.

How we can fight against ltc asic ?

First of ways is not to BUY pre order for THEM (if you read for one comany that is in this days planing pre order -the will not accept LTC for pre order - why? because they just want PROFIT fot them ,they are not interested in people that was put litecoin on the road).

GOLDEN RULE NOT SILVER -REMBER :If nobody buy preorder or even in next few months asic ltc that would be salvation for GPU miners? I think NO (that company will probably mine coins...and have MONOPOL or even FORK the netwoork ).

So secod way to DEFEND -my idea is to contact all pools like (Litecoinorg,Coinotron,Wemineltc,Givemeltc,LiteGUardian, and else polls -sorry i didnt mention all of you ),why contact them ?
The GOAL is to edit all mining scrypth software (cgminer,reaper/guiminer...) to implented a detection of hardwer that is using for mining like AMD,even nvidia(only GPU's) that communicated with POOLs,so if you dosent using GPU can't connect to POOL and mine coins...

This is my idea...If you can supported me on some ways -even donations in ltc in small amounts (example 0.01 )adress is :
LaCh8KLwYDBL4XnQfAEv1kdcGBDrDYsLj7
amount is not imortant )the goal is to get up team of people that will work(editing sofware for mining with detection and support against asic for ltc) on PROJECT called : Say No to ASIC LTC/scrypth with this two steps ,
if you have some idea to help contact me through this email :saynotoasicltc@gmail.com skype: saynotoasicltc
thanks for reading this I hope that are many people to HELP with this project
1) Its scrypt
2) Its not possible for one to design a Scrypt ASIC.
3) The ASIC company is most probably a scam.

And why couldn't someone build  an ASIC  for LTC?
Do you even have a clue what an ASIC is?

As for the op , you won't be able to stop it.

Regardless all costs

How many bitcoins can be made at this time in 1 month with 100ghz cpu?
I GUESS about 2bitcoins .
Stop trolling.

I believe some of us thought he meant GHs instead of GHz, hence we said 2 BTC earlier.

Well , isn't usually better to actually check what he is saying then answering what you think?

297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What would be the best way to make bitcoins except mining? on: November 24, 2013, 02:46:02 PM
So what will be the best way to make some coins on the net without to have set up a mining rig? (I only have a laptop with not much power)

Maybe websites who give away coins for reading them or do some games on it or wil it be possible to set up a free online desktop enviroment en get it running a minner?

Most of those websites will only give you a few satoshis and you'll have trouble spending all that dust.
You can get bitcoins the same why you get money , and the only reasonable way and risk free is working.
