Is there any good working qt wallet for windows?

Yeah, the wallet is working well. Look in the first post in this thread for download link. This is a very old coin, but it syncs quite fast.

If you need more clearnet nodes you can add these from novaexchange: https://novaexchange.com/addnodes/ANC/

If you participate in the airdrop, would it be helpful to have more than 100% of the airdrop coins in you wallet? Lets say you buy a few more, or is this useless?

Personally I would put the extra coins you buy in another adress to keep them seperated from the airdrop coins. This will improve your privacy drastically. And it will make it easier to seperate the funds if you want to sell the new coins before the aidrop ends. Just create a new adress in the Receive coins tab.

I remember the beginning of Dash, or darkcoin which it was called then. It was trading for 0.60 dollar and I where totally convinced that it was a useless scam that would fade away. I have never been more wrong about crypto.

DeepOnion is similar when it comes to community interest and initative. What the price is today don't matter. Long term, it will either be worth a whole lot more or nothing. Anyone selling now is crazy!  Grin

I will say one thing about this coin or any coin at this point. The key to a coins success is to tie it to a business model. Tie it to something that causes the coin and block chain to be used by customers.

Anyone, including you, are free to develop a business model for bottlecaps. This coin have never even had a proper website. Its origin is from the Fallout game franchise.

Bottlecaps got some good attibutes. A more then 4 year old blockchain, fair distribution and a very low price.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ Electroneum ⚡ Token Sale Sept 14th Mobile Mining Crypto Coin on: September 25, 2017, 07:27:12 PM
Does electroneum already have an iOS/android app developed that is capable of mining? Mobile crypto is definitely the next logical step for this ecosystem, so hopefully these guys can pull it off.

Yes, both are developed and the Android version is already on the Google Playstore and iOS is finished as well but wont be available until Apple approves it after the launch and they see volume on exchanges. We are already confirmed to be on Cryptopia and Yobit and are talking with Bittrex and others as well.

The only thing still being touched up is the in App game that people can choose to play if they like and get bonus coins.

Isn't there just a handful different crypto currencies apple have approved so far? I really don't think it's likely to see electroneum accepted anytime soon when many established coins are on the sideline aswell.

Yes. Crypto is in "competition" with Applepay, which isnt a cryptocurrency, so they do make coins jump through a lot of hoops to get the App approved.

The dev team has already made the iOS App and have already had talks with Apple. ETN is to the point now, where all that needs to happen is ETN launch and then be listed on an exchange to finalize the approval process.

Cryptopia and Yobit will immediately list ETN and it looks like Bittrex as well.

The only thing they are still putting finishing touches on, is the in App game a user can choose to play and get a few more coins than they would if they were just mining in the background.

Ok, good to hear. Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to launch!  Smiley

Tror dere den relativt lave prisen nå er en god kjøpsmuliget? Novaexchange framstår ikke veldig solid og likviditeten vil nok bedres når onion kan trades andre steder.

Glad to see new updated rules for joining airdrop.
I have one doubt, what to enter on the onion adress column on airdrop application form?

Can we enter the onion adress from novaexchange or should we download the onion wallet?

download the wallet. you don't control your coins yourself unless you have them on your pc. encrypt it and make a note of your private keys

It should be required for everyone to post a message signed with their airdrop address. That would eliminate the problem of people using exchange addresses for the airdrop.
289  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: September 24, 2017, 08:36:40 AM
Hi guys,

Not too involved with current controversy but a big fan of bitcoin poker, and SwC is a bit too inactive for my liking.

This might not be the appropriate place to post this, but does anyone use any similar bitcoin poker sites showing more life?

There isn't any similar bitcoin poker site providing OFCp, Big O, Stud games, etc. And yes it is sad to see so few players at SWC. There are too many nits with nice krill status (from the old sealswithclubs) who never sit at cash game tables and play exclusively freerolls. And the increase of bitcoin price don't help. In addition, there is no incentive to rake more, like the previous weekly krill leaderboard did. It used to create a good action at midstakes. But I know the site was losing money.

I keep hope that upcoming new clients will attract more players and new promotions will emerge. It could be a good idea to create a weekly or monthly krill leaderboard according to each stakes : low, mid and highstakes. Or maybe some specific promotions in the most played games like OFCp, NLHE and Big O. And I am in favor of an increase in the rake if necessary.

Seals desperately need support for mobile devices. Today most people only use their phones for poker and gambling. The era of desktop grinders 16-tabling with huds is mostly gone.

i still not understand what i should do with my 50.000 bottlecaps should i split them up into 10.000 coin blocks? do i earn more stakes doing this so 10.000 coins will stake 1.000 coins each time? am i understand this right or is my calculation wrong on this? i want to earn the most from my 50.000 bottlecaps.
Coin control is important for POS coins. If you are unfamiliar with
the Coin Control feature, PM me and I will send you and explanation
of how to turn it on and use it.

thank you woody i send you a message because i not know how to use this feature coin control. i buy another 50.000 bottlecaps when i understand how to make the most stakes from bottlecaps.

i think bottlecaps also need the wallet to be recompiled because wallet does use a lot of memory.

cryptoburst61, if you read my post, I have explained how to get the maximum reward.

Coin control is really self explanatory. You just choose which coins to use when you are on the send tab. You might have to activate the coin control feature on settings if it doesn't show. Settings --> options --> display --> Display coin control feature

When activatet under the send tab. Click on Coin Control button. Select your 50k input, send 10k to the same adress. Repeat the process, select the 40k from the change adress, send 10k to the original adress. Repeat the process, select the 30k from the change adress, send 10k to the orginal adress. And so on.

If you have 1 input with 50.000 caps you will get 1000 after coins 14 days. Your input is so big that it reach the max reward of 1000 coins.

If you have 5 inputs of 10k coins, you will have 5 inputs that each stake after 14 days. Each input will give about 4-500 coins. So in total you will get somewhere between 2000 and 2500 coins after 14 days.

You can use the coin control feature to send the coins to the same adress. You don't need to use different adresses. It just have to be different inputs.

The "splitthreshold" seems to be maxing out at 2429. Looks like a bug. Can anyone else confirm this?

It depends on the number of coins you have. More coins --> higher limit.

The final distributionmodel

Dear Bitcore community,

we wanted to say thank you to all of you and your broad support!

The first weeks were very successful, and we are happy to announce you the following points:

1. The claiming at bitcore.cc from the april snapshot will end exactly in November, the 2nd, 2017, 12 pm CEST (UTC +2).

2. The increasing demand of Bitcore motivated us to gift you with two nice surprises.

We will create an actual snapshot of the bitcoin blockchain in october, the 30th. Every adress with min. 0.001 BTC will be funded with 40% Bitcore (BTX) of the total amount per bitcoinadress.
At this way, we will distribute approximately 7 million Bitcore (BTX) directly. In the end we drop around 45-50% of all nonclaimed bitcore and increase the circulation supply with around 8 millon coins.

We load the coins directly to the public keys, which are included in the snapshot. You can redeem them without a time limit.

We also have a special surprise for our loyal bitcoreholders on october, the 30th. Every bitcoreholder with local wallets loaded min. 10 BTX gets an special one time airdrop of 25% instead of 3% !

3. We will be updating our weekly 3% monday airdrop. At the beginning of october, we place an online registration page for the 3% airdrop. You have to registrate ONE TIME your BTX adress with a signed message.
From november, the 2nd, the weekly monday airdrop will be only paid to registered adresses. The rule to have min. 10 BTX in your wallet will be dropped.

To be sure that you are captured for the snapshot, it is imperative that the Bitcore (BTX) have arrived in your wallet not later than 6 blocks after midnight!

We reserve the rights to make changes as required.

Your Bitcore Team

Jon, Chris & Steve

you really think that you can redistribute  "approximately 7 million Bitcore (BTX) directly" in a single move without the sending the Price to shit and screwing every single early buyer of your coin ?

You serious ?
Road to 10 cents!
Way too many coins , way to quick and topia buysupport only.

You should try to read it again and understand what it really says.

This is the facts:

For the first snapshot it was 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcore. The new snapshot 1 bitcoin = 0.4 bitcore.

From the old snapshot: PAYOUT SINCE LAUNCH : 466839.4380 BTX

And that is 5 months in. If the same amount of people claim their new BTX, it would only bring 0,40 * 466839 = 186735 new BTX into circulation. The remaining 6813265 would be not be claimed.

I put in my BTC address but for some reason it doesn’t bring up any coins to claim. I have had the coins for over 3 years so it seems odd. Anyone else have similar issues?

Check your adress in a block explorer like: https://blockchain.info/

If you have spent any of your funds you will find the rest of your bitcoin in a change adress(es).

I'm conflicted because I was hoping for a more favorable airdrop to BTX holders but I realize just giving all the BTX to us holders in one large dump or even dumps spread out over the course of a few weeks is probably not the best way to promote mass adoption because there would likely be a massive dump once the airdrops end.  However, I don't think giving a larger share of BTX to BTC holders will promote mass adoption either because there is a reason they haven't already claimed their BTX and it only serves the purpose of giving a few whales an insignificant (in their eyes) amount of BTX.  They don't care about the project when there are BTCC hard-forks at a 1:1 ratio.

In my opinion, the best option for the community and the coin would be to continue these weekly airdrops over an extended period of time.  There are downsides to this though, mainly, some exchanges will hesitate to add BTX since there is so much per-mined and held by the devs.  Perhaps there is another way to get these coins out that won't "shock" the BTX markets in the short term.

Why havent people claimed BTX:

1. They havent heard about it.
2. It is not worth it.

The best way to get more publicity would be to partner up with an exchange and have them distribute the btx to all their bitcoin holders after the november snapshot like poloniex did with clam.

Did not really understand about snapshot of the bitcoin blockchain in october. The owners of bitcoin must clime their BTX additionally again?

i think they have another chance to claim their btx ,but only 40% . the plan still not talk about the final airdrop.
And from what fund will these 7 million? From the 15.5 million?
Yes, there is still no information on the scheme of the final airdrop.

If you just read the announcement carefully all the information is there. There will not be a final airdrop in november. The 3% will continue untill all the unclaimed coins from the orginal snapshot have been distributed. But not including the 7 million that will be sent to every bitcoin adress in november for the new snapshot. This is really a great solution and vastly increases the chance of real adoption.
I see, was inattentive. For what a present to the owners of bitcoin once again? Is it for greater fame?

This may be an improvement from the original plan but the first 7 million to BTC holders is kind of a head scratcher to me. Airdropping all of the coins at once would be horrible but they could have simply done it in 4-5 steps to those that are holders. As far as I am concerned all the people that had BTC on April 28th will have had 6 months to claim them so there is no need to send coins to those that don't care as of now. This would allow them to work on other things besides simple distribution.

The new distribution to bitcoin holders bring needed legitimacy to the project. And it will remove a lot of coins from circulation. This should be positive for the price of btx.

The number of btx claimed bt bitcoin holders will depend on the price. A high price would lead to more people/services claiming their btx. But I don't think its likely that more then 2 of the 7 million will be claimed long term.

Don't understand what that mean "will be sent to every bitcoin adress". I think if BTX sent to BTC wallet - they will be lost, especially webwallets.

https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinNO/comments/6y95rm/hvordan_handle_bitcoins_fra_utland/
