If the developers really values the community's loss, he could put up a huge buyorder at a decent price to salvage the investors.
Why? We're the ones who decided to invest. Loss is a risk that comes with that.

He was putting his internal ip into the rpcPort field in rpcace.php.

Usernames and passwords that are too short don't seem to register. Try something like:

rpcuser=fedoracoinrpc
rpcpassword=7ydepugKcPc8mutWQgnzDKeN9HSFw6gnuvPUCAzZrvnD

Hmm, doesn't seem to be working, I literally used the username and password you gave me.

I get "Failed to connect. Check your coin's .conf file and your RPC parameters."
Port forwarded?

Okay so 10 minutes. Give me 10 more and I'll have it perfect.

It looks messed up, I have that logo without any watermarks on my website, you could have just taken it from there Tongue

It bled black for some reason, but it's a proof of concept anyway. If I turned it into a vector at this point the black bleed would go.

How did you do that though?

With shitty photoshop skills.

The water mark is unbelievably easy to remove.

My one? How did you even get here?

Yes, fix it. I was following it because someone I know wanted to start graphic design.

How can I fix it? How is the watermark easy to remove?
Is that a challenge?

Yes, get that guy who wants to get into graphics design you mentioned earlier to do it Wink

i offer 0.1 BTC for removing watermarks, so i can use it......JK Grin

hahaha
He uses an iPad for some stupid reason. Give me 5 minutes.
287  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] RPC Ace - a simple cut-down block explorer alternative on: October 11, 2014, 01:42:35 PM
I don't have a dedicated VPS, but I do have a basic web host. I am trying to run a RPC Ace blockchain explorer by keeping the php files on my web host and the cryptocurrency wallet on my desktop that runs Windows 7 at home. So the RPC Ace on my web host will connect to my wallet at home and get the data like that. I'm pretty sure I configured everything correctly but RPC Ace will not connect to my wallet. The webpage is http://leechrisbrown.com/deepcoin/rpcace.php

First of all, is what I'm trying to do actually possible? If so, what am I doing wrong here? Am I missing something?

.conf file for deepcoin wallet on my desktop (the wallet is always open on my desktop):

Code:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip= The Shared IP Address found on CPanel on my webhost
rpcthreads=1
port=22871
rpcport=22872
server=1
listen=1
txindex=1

and in rpcace.php on my web host:

Code:
$rpcHost = my ipv4 address found in ipconfig;
$rpcPort = 22872;
$rpcUser = 'user';
$rpcPass = 'pass';
$coinName = 'Deepcoin';

Thanks

292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Solcoin: We will let it have a soul. on: October 08, 2014, 06:13:45 PM
Updated traditional client (Sol/0.8.7.4):

For Windows: https://mega.co.nz/#!Iw9RyAwB!eNdYOyh5IV5GT-9cS-Yb-ZZJCSJEFoROQ-ytkRjn78E

For Linux: https://mega.co.nz/#!1kNyBCzT!FmQFwrMAgncnzig2Ti-93XueLjTM4I-4MWhwgGtszgs

Source code on GitHub: https://github.com/solcoin-project/solcoin

This is a maintenance release merging the latest changes from Litecoin 0.8.7.4, including slightly faster connection time to nodes and slightly lower memory consumption. Updating is not mandatory.
Updated Mac Wallet: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/60507461/Solcoin-Qt.zip

I apologise for taking so long, I was not aware of the update.

This wallet is using an updated version of LibDB so I recommend backing up your wallet.dat and private keys before downloading and using this version.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FedoraCoin (TiPS); New style, new services, same unique features on: October 08, 2014, 09:59:49 AM
Forgot to pay for my VPS, it should be back up.

It's up here,
alternative is on http://insight.fedoracha.in/richlist.txt, updated via cron every 4 hour.
Would you like my code for the richlist? If you interface it with your Insight explorer we have even better redundancy.

Its great if ladder could be added, so we can see which wallet moving  Grin
Not possible with the current php + txt implementation. To get the ladders working I would need a more advanced database. It'll be a lot easier to just show if the address has gained since the last time the txt database was updated, and quite a bit easier to show % gain.

is it possible to add darksend+ support to replace current mixer service?
Code is not written well, exploits have been in the wild for a long time as well as a few more which are coming to light.

I agree, was expecting something pretty big since https://twitter.com/Deepcoin/status/516649528133685249 Smiley things are very quiet for the moment, on the exchanges too Tongue
Things go quite when they sleep.
FTFY Wink

Now all we have to do is wait for the sleeping giant to wake up again.
Heh

Haha, one of many dead coins.
The altcoin cemetery is so full.

We're trudging on. This is not the main thread.

does this happen to every coin that hits bittrex?

Unfortunately It's pretty common, yes. It used to be Mintpal but now its Bittrex. I'm certain we'll see a comeback in the near future though, so I'm not going to abandon ship. I've seen coins make huge comebacks many times before. I've talked to the dev and he is staying in this, and he is working on the development of the coin when he can, as well as myself. We also have influential and dedicated community members such as "xwebnetwork".

Looks like coin is dead.

This coin is still very much alive despite what the exchange rate might suggest, I assure you.
Well it's easier to pump now. That's for sure. I'm still glad I exited when I did.
