Is it too late to start mining with only 100kh/s?
Been mining moreless since launch, 3400k/hash. 2750 DOPE currently. Some of that is from 1 block I found solo'ing in the beginning, the rest pool. Wish I had more. Mining for almost a whole day at 1200 kh/s using dope.dogemoon.com and got only 300 dopecoins?
Where do you get more coins?
I just bought 10k at .000001 (0.1 btc total). Seemed like a bargain considering how long it would take me to mine that much. I could sell them on Mintpal right now for nearly double, but I don't want to do that :-) I say mine away, and consider buying in if you can find them at silly dump prices. Where you get those? AllCoin.com I would have gotten 20k, but somebody bought half of them while I was busy transferring in. Damn, no more left at that price. You got lucky with that one. |

Question...why is there such a high fee when transferring from one wallet to another? Trying to send 871 DOPE and the fee within the wallet is 11 DOPE?
Also, can a Windows wallet.dat be copied to a Mac and work with the Mac wallet? I can confirm this works!

Why have a faucet http://faucet.fckbanks.org/ if the captcha is so ridiculous that after 5 tries you still can't get it right? Really, this thing is not workable. Hm, it works for me every time. Try to refresh, captcha is there for a reason. Did that, many times. Like 20+. All captchas are virtually non-readable. |

Pretty lame dev took an awesome coin name (when I know for a fact others were planning on using the same name, but got beat to the launch) and just abandoned it leaving us who mined it hanging.

The project is back on track and everything is looking better than could be expected for DopeCoin 2.0
Additional DDOS protection has been purchased along with all new server packages. A new development team has been hired and confidence has been restored in all areas of the technical side of the project.
As we finalize the project the question has been raised with respects to a small premine to help cover some of the current upgrades and future development costs. The number that was suggested was a small premine of 0.5% which would be used to push the DopeCoin agenda forward and to provide bountys and giveaways.
Before making any kind of decision like this I felt it was prudent to ask the community and let them decide. If it's out of the question, please voice your opinion. I personally like the idea of a premine as it is quite expensive to bring a high level product like this to market, however I was willing to wave the idea of a premine in hopes of building a generous community that would help contribute with the project.
Ultimately I leave the decision up to you, the people. The majority consensus on this matter will decide the outcome. Please let us know what you think.

0.5% premine is fine by me. Just be transparent about it with a public ledger of current coins held and where all them have went, ie to promotions, giveaways etc. and don't dump the second it hits an exchange. |
