For AMD cards, set the following environment variables, especially if you have 2GB cards:

GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

WHERE DO I WRITE THESE?
Create a .bat file with that inside it. Ummm.......you are a newbie here so I will spell it out.

Create a new text document and paste those setting it in. Then File> Save as>name it something.bat and choose All files in the Save a type field.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash Windows 10 64bit RX470 RX480 working miner on: October 31, 2016, 02:01:25 AM
https://github.com/Genoil/ZECMiner/blob/master/releases/genoil-zec-miner-0.4.1.zip

This code will help with the Sol/s rate dropping over time. Adjust timing as you see fit.

Create a .bat with this code. Also delete your .bins in the genoil-zec-miner-0.4.1\kernels\cache folder. After you create this .bat, click it........it will do the rest.

Code:
@echo off
echo:
set executable=genoil.exe
set commandline= -c zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -u Xardas.PC -p x -k zec zec
set runforseconds=900
set restartinseconds=2
set /a counter=0
timeout 5
:start
start "genoil" %executable% %commandline%
echo:
echo Miner runs for %runforseconds% seconds
timeout %runforseconds%
taskkill /f /im %executable%
echo:
echo Restart in %restartinseconds% seconds (%counter%)
timeout %restartinseconds%
set /a counter+=1
echo:
echo:
goto start

@Claymore if you need a tester just shoot me a PM. I've been running Genoil's 0.4.1 since released but had everything working fine with his 0.3.2 release.

I have R9 380's, RX 480, and some 270x if you need some logs from your new miner. CPU's available are Celeron 1840 and 4770k.

@eXtremal

There is a SERIOUS flaw in zcash mining and I blame you 100%!!!! My 480 and 2x380's are doing ~80 Sol/s and using another CPU miner on a 4770k I get another ~20 Sol/s........fair enough, I can deal with it............BUT!!!!!!!! I can't play Kerbal Space Program while mining!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY DUDE!!!! Get this shit fixed ASAP!! Cheesy

Nice work on the miner and pool. Go have a beer Smiley

Is it possible to mine it on Windows 10 Amd laptop without hurting my computer?I want to get in to mining of Altcoins but know nothing how to go about it
Someone please reply to my question
It wouldn't be very wise. You could easily CPU mine, but will most likely have heat issues. If you want to mine, do a bit of reading and buy proper equipment. There, someone answered your question Smiley

@eXtremal

Bro go put your feet up and have a beer. Let these impatient fucks wait.

For you impatient fucks, read a bit. The zcash wallet from the DEV's has problems. eXtremal is doing his best to straighten out the mess HE didn't cause. Chill the fuck out. Check back in a day.

[ Zcash Mining Pool Hub ]

Zcash mining pool is under beta testing.

Fixed some mistake I made.  Embarrassed
Feel free to mine on our pool.

As auto exchange feature is enabled, you would get BTC even you haven't reached minimum payout threshold.

how to mine with the gpu and not the cpu ?

https://github.com/nicehash/nheqminer/releases
That miner will only mine on nicehash

Am i the only person who didn't get anything for last hour?

No me too , funny thing Is my address (z address) does not even show up in the block exporer yet, I guess similar to eth addresses with no trasactions are not visible ?
Bro if I were you I'd which to a t addy. z addy's are fooked up from what the dev's say.

@extremal

I just started mining with your pool and am aware of your statement that new addresses on your pool get the .005 min. payout, but my account shows .01. Do you know why this is happening?
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source ZEC (ZCash) GPU Miner AMD & NVidia (up to 45 sol/s on RX480) on: October 29, 2016, 11:25:43 AM
How can i make ZEC wallet address?
You can create one in your zcash client, but I think that is only for linux. The simplest way is to generate one at whatever exchange you use. Mine for example is my Poloniex address.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source ZEC (ZCash) GPU Miner AMD & NVidia (up to 45 sol/s on RX480) on: October 29, 2016, 11:20:56 AM
Why don't i have any payment to my balance if blocks were found?!
How many confirms have occurred since the first block you were part of was found? I think it takes 101 confirms of a block before anything goes into your balance.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.2 (Windows/Linux) on: October 21, 2016, 06:03:14 AM
@Claymore

Is there a way to change colors for the miner? I do not see red very well, which is the default color for various warnings. I need to change it to something like yellow.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: October 20, 2016, 02:43:36 AM
I don't seem to be getting any of my gpu mining money after auto-exchanging to BTC. This started happening after the recent ETH fork. I've emailed you mininnghubpool. I'm only posting this here to see if anyone else has noticed the same problem.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.2 (Windows/Linux) on: October 14, 2016, 08:33:59 PM

Thank you very much.
I use it for gaming as well, so do you think this is the best?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202224
There is also one with a higher core clock rate, what do you think?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814202223

For Ethereum mining it's more about the memory speed not the processor.

Both of those 8 GB cards you linked have Effective Memory Clock: 8000 MHz.  If you look at the specifications for the 4 GB version it only has 7000 MHz memory.

For gaming (which you said you do) you would want the higher core clock rate.  So the second one would overall be better. (IMHO) Buy me one and send me one for gaming and I'll let you know Wink

I got the overclocked one.
OCing the memory speed helps ETH more than the GPU speed?
I noticed it helped SIA/LBRY, but not much for ETH.

I got it up to 1360 and stable it seems at 1150 cvddc.
25 ETH 45 LBRY

What should my memory speed, core speed, and cv/mvddc be do you think?
Electric is cheap, and I need the heat any way, so going for as much speed as possible without hurting the card.
Temps are staying around 77c.

I run 1342MHz (stock OC for card) @1030mv.  Undervolting will allow card to maintain boost clocks, increasing performance (without setting crazy power limit). Use GPU-Z to check actual core clocks....

Less power means less stress on VRMs, GPU, fans, and possibly PSU.  I prefer ~70-73C temps, which I get with ~60% fan, and 80F ambient.  Cards all on risers.  Night they run like 64C @50% fan (~60F ambient).

Thanks, what rates do you get?
I'm using LBRY, with dcri 40
25ETH 44LBRY in the miner.
Any editing of memory clock and volts?
I'm running 2150 and auto for the volts.

Ok, I have multi-algo switching problems and am apparently too daft to resolve it. I downloaded the all-in-one miner from here: https://github.com/miningpoolhub/all-in-one-miner/archive/20160728.zip extracted this zip and editted the run.bat. I set a worker on the hub page called Xardas.auto

Here is my run.bat:(which is a direct copy paste from the instruction with the username changed)

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

:start
ethminer --farm-retries 0 -G -S us-east1.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12020 -O Xardas.auto:x -FS exit
sgminer --no-retry -k vanilla -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:12019 -u Xardas.auto -p x

sgminer --no-retry -k lyra2rev2 -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:12018 -u Xardas.auto -p x

timeout 1
goto start

sgminer window opens and seems to retry over and over. Mining never starts. It loops through and detects the cards again, then goes back into a loop of retries that after 10 or so it detects the cards again. WHAT HAVE I MISSED???

Claymore mines at mininghubpool without problems and switches from ETH to ETC while dual mining SIA. Hell even my Zeus ASIC's mine at the pool fine. I have no problem with my Baikal miner either. Only problem is with the all-in-one setup.

I can't give you any error messages are any other info because I don't get any more info myself. Ideas?

Maybe there was some temporary error on server, and not working.

Would you try this again?
Can you tell me what coin is specified at auto switches page?

Tried again but still doesn't work. I tested sgminer by itself after setting up a .conf(copied from your site) and got this:

11 btc of ico is scam? fake volume? Angry
are you buying ico rbit? what price ico?

Ico is over now but i dont remember the ico price. It was way higher than the current price on the exchange.

price ico is 10k/coin a failure to investors if there are clear
Benjo, I thought I asked you to try to get this added into yobit, did I not say i would reimburst you for a paid addition on yobit? I havent even had a chance to sit down at the computer and likely wont be able to over the weekend. I do have other obligations, its called life.
If anyone cares to take me on this offer the .1 listing will do, i will reimburse the first to do so. Again it will be monday before I am back at the office, thanks.
If monday comes and no one has taken the offer, i will do it.
I hope no one is stupid enough to believe that. In the time it took you to write that post you could have logged onto yobit and bought the listing. Big man going to buy all coins below 100k sats and never bought them, now trying to get suckers to pay for a yobit listing because you won't risk your own fucking money. FFS dude.

armyman your PSU isn't enough. You shouldn't run a PSU at more than 80% of it's rating. rx480's can pull up to about 225 watts each, which is 1,350 watts. You have up to another 150-200 watts for the system also, excluding the vid cards. So you are over 1500 watts on a 1200 watt PSU. Of course it will not be stable. A 1600 watt PSU will run 6 480's and the system....just. It is still pushing the limit a bit much when you factor in the 80% rule....but it will run stable.

The miner doesnt start - this isnt a problem by psu power. If psu power fails, the system shuts down.

It is the PSU, during start up and DAG process the system draws more power. His ETH process is starting, but stops. Easy way to find out.....disable all the cards but one in the command line options, then enable them one at a time until the crashing starts again Wink
