So I'm a newb when it comes to overclocking... I'm in canada so we have 120v outlets, what's the safest max I should overclock to? (Could, maybe not should)..
282  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: April 10, 2015, 06:02:18 PM
Whew, Good thing my rig got rented out the day before antpool experienced this shitty luck baha. I keep my 0.01120 BTC/Thash/day rate Cheesy
Also, is switching to a satellite connection really able to cause such "luck" for block solving? Ping is a factor?!
283  Economy / Services / Re: Logos - Banners - Advertisement Banners on: April 10, 2015, 05:51:03 PM
LOL I LIKE HOW YOU ADDED THE NEGATIVE TRUST HAHAHA  Reported..

I am shocked after doing illegal works you are here to fight with me instead of apology. Man seriously grow up.

Let the mods do their job. There's no need to promote your own work and bash someone else's! People that are asking for avatars/sigs don't have to worry about copyrighted material, as they aren't profiting off it :p

If it was a business seeking to make profits from an advertisement banner, that would be a different story.
284  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The cost of electricity in the world on: April 10, 2015, 04:38:30 AM
Energy in UK is £0.14 if your lucky and that is due to go up soon again. Can reduce this if you have renewable energy and have solar energy panels fitted but wouldn't reduce the cost that much. Maybe if  government's done something constructive with all the tax payers money to put into projects this would then reduce costs for homes. UK is a rip off.

That would explain why I often get UK members renting my rigs! Sucks bro :/ get some self-generated renewable energy sources Cheesy

Yeah its not cheap in UK anymore use to cost me about £10 to £15 per day to run my miners but it was worth it when first got miners now tho id be minus figures unless theris profitable sha coins to use and right now theris none worth while mining on

Yeah, for now at least. I also won my S4 as a prize so have no ROI Tongue you jelly? baha
285  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: pool mining question on: April 09, 2015, 07:59:53 PM
Also, a super nice exampe of a good UI (minus some window size modification issues) is ghash.io

I find it super pretty at least.
Well that's certainly what's important - not the payouts they seems to have done really poorly with Smiley

Important to attract users yeah. My ideal pool : UI of Ghash.io with payouts of Antpool. xD

Everyone..... I'm really so sorry for the lack of response. Issues came up.

Yes, my Asics section reads.   oooooooo oooooooo .

Temperature in the room is a little bit high, but I am trying to keep it under control. Just thinking that I should be making more money from all these machines. So tired of this business.

The machines do go up and down in hashrates though.

IMO either ghash.io or antpool.com is best for Antminers.

288  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTCGuild Luck on: April 08, 2015, 09:31:29 PM
Pool Luck* (24H / 3D / 1W / 2W / 1M / 3M / All Time): 62.888% / 76.267% / 88.769% / 90.841% / 95.706% / 91.032% / 96.847%

very lame.. especially with a 2% fee

That luck would be better with a 0% fee?  Bad luck is bad luck regardless of fee's.
you fucks think your so intelligent you're fucking stupid.

Harsh, I think OP was voicing how people wouldn't use that pool seeing a 2% fee.

Hence why I prefer Antpool for my S4's.
OP?  LOL... the original poster started this thread in July of last year and was asking about BTCG luck and if all pools used PPLNS.  Somebody (BCwinning) decided to revive this post from the dead and buried to show that BTCG luck is still bad.

LoL I didn't see the dates.....had no idea this thread was that old!

Pretty old, and BTCG still the same :p I mined with them in 2013 and never since lmao
289  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Pics of Large Miner Hosting Center Under Construction on: April 08, 2015, 08:54:34 PM
This does look amazing but talk about it taking a huge joy out of mining when it is your main source of income and you have so much riding on it. A panic attack anytime the price dips and a constant watch on it.
That, and also constantly checking and replacing faulty miners or any malfunctions in pools/hardware.

you can try renting out your rigs on a site like miningrigrentals.com
tends to mitigate some losses, and maybe trick some fool into paying super high Cheesy
What are you suggesting he do? Scam someone and ruin his reputation? You're an idiot if his miners aren't working why would he rent them out and "trick some fool into paying super high" Don't be a dick.

He's saying this ASIC are fine, if its shares rejected then its definitely the pool.
Also, renting sites verify if you're hashing properly, no one will pay for a broken rig. No need to assume everyone is a dick.
291  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 million Bitcoin on: April 08, 2015, 08:12:16 PM
i can't undertood.

What is dependent bitcoin increase ?

limited supply, interest of people/adoption, luck with various news, there isn't a general rule, but supply and adoption are the most important(45% both i would say, 10% for the rest)

much people that will have, will increase bitcoin price ?>

I think what he's trying to say is, does more users/adopters mean the price will go up.

And the answer is most likely yes.

295  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Newest Diff thread April 5 to April 18th on: April 08, 2015, 06:21:36 PM
This also allows for  more spec time and less pick time.

I wonder why this drop has happened? guesses anyone?

Or we could just not allow changing the picks Smiley

As for the drop, I'm watching AntPool as usual and it had a few unlucky blocks. If a pool that has ~15-20% of network hashrate takes 8 hours to find a block it does have a visible effect on the charts and estimates.

I think anything within +/- 5% can be safely dismissed as variance. Even that huge hashrate mountain from two weeks ago (~ 50 PH/s) has disappeared now. 25% total difficulty increase in 5 months - we used to get that much every cycle. Exchange rate doesn't seem to be going anywhere either.

I was mining antpool. After 6 hours I started crying.
296  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How About This Mining Rig? on: April 08, 2015, 05:51:40 PM
When I look at this, it makes me rethink on getting actual physical hardware and just go win something for cheap on ebay and exchange it to sell here on the forum.

And then get 1 sold bitcoin, instead of getting a massive electric bill and energy to maintain all of these things.

Its cool to look at though, but just doesnt make much sense to me esp when I know the coin can go down at any time of the day.

You forgot the hope that the coin can go up anyday. Many miners are in BTC for the long term, as this is still considered the early phase for BTC.
297  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: April 08, 2015, 05:48:03 PM
Antpool tends to be laggy, nothing you can do about it. ^

Well, I guess we can complain. Maybe they'll work on it!
298  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where can i buy a Bitcoin miner on: April 08, 2015, 05:38:31 PM
on many sites I should order in large numbers but I only want 1 or 2 miners..BTCBTC

Tbh, you could probably buy from the Marketplace here on bitcointalk.
299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Requirements on: April 08, 2015, 04:44:08 PM
Hello,
recenty i got 64gb dedicated server
i want to run mining on that . is it possible ??

any requirements ?

You could always open a mining POOL on that server, might be the only profitable thing you can do with that :/

Or a bunch of faucets aha
300  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: pool mining question on: April 08, 2015, 04:34:17 PM
hi there, i was curious about mining pools
i want to know how to make one

so my question is can it be hosted using a webhost like godaddy.com or hostgator?
if not then what hosting site can provide it?
and also what plan should i buy?

thank you!

Google: "How to set up my own mining pool"

first result: http://coingolem.com/how-to-set-up-your-own-mining-pool-using-mpos-229/

I know there are a couple other "template" sites that let you create a pool, kind of like a coin gen.
