281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How hard is it to make payments Bitcoin? on: August 01, 2017, 12:21:04 PM

bitcoin payments to buy the goods we want
Bitcoin payments could be made easily for buying products. But the problem is to find the stores which accept bitcoin payment. If you are in japan, then there would be no problem in making payments since bitcoin has been made legal there. You would be even able to buy a flight ticket with bitcoins there.Bitcoin payments could be made either by entering the receiver's btc address in our wallet and pressing button send or by just scanning the QR code of receiver with our mobile phone and we could send.In future,we would not find any difficulty in finding shops for buying products with bitcoin payment.
282  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex disabled bitcoin deposit on: August 01, 2017, 12:05:43 PM
I just happened to Deposit amount of 3 BTC to my bittrex address and when i log in to the bittrex after 7 confirmation on blockchain to trade and i find that wallet is disabled for bip91.
So will i be able to recover funds or they are gone?

https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000761392

Read the upper left hand side of the forum page. It says:

Due to BIP91, it would starting now be prudent to require 5 times more confirmations than usual before trusting transactions.

So it's normal and you 99.9999% won't lose your funds. Bittrex is just taking preacautions to avoid bad situations. Anyway, we shouldn't perform transactions until the bip91 completed.
You would not lose your bitcoins, just need more confirmations and thats why the delay in receiving your bitcoins.Thats why it has been already advised to maximum try to avoid sending bitcoins at this time.Usually some exchanges even suspend deposits and withdrawals for 24 to 48 hours during such hard fork situations.
283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: August 01, 2017, 11:17:37 AM
Trading with btc - eth, I buy too high ( 0,082 ) and today I sell all on 0,077. Before that trade btc - ripple ( xrp ), make mistake buy 0,0002150 so today I sell with price 0,0001200. I decide to sell all because my patience is finish. I have loss almost 40% from my money, my question is simple ................. stop or continue?
You have invested and traded without any idea.First, you should have done a research to find the most under valued coin and should have invested in it.Otherwise, you would have to get caught in a pumped altcoin. You have just sold your coins in panic. You should not follow the market blindly. You have got a lesson in trading.Just make us of your gathered experience and do trading carefully in future.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: "Bitcoin unstoppable?" Bill Gates says a few words on: August 01, 2017, 07:28:36 AM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0HmrSfJwhU
Donīt let you irritate by the Youtube title, Bill Gates says only a few words.

I am very curious about your opinion about this video, it made me thinking, but then Roger Ver popped up and im not sure what I shall think.
It just gives an introduction about bitcoin to people who don't have any idea about that.Just delivering the truth that the banking systems are the terrorists who loot the money from normal people in the name of huge transaction fees and they just print papers and send it in circulations making people believe that it is the real money. But thanks to bitcoin, especially satoshi for giving such a wonderful technology and i think the bankers are almost knocked out.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin dead... on: July 31, 2017, 02:05:02 PM
We have already heard such words lots of times before but yet bitcoin has survived.I don't know why these people are happy i spreading such FUD,they might be some big whale just trying to create panic and make use of the opportunity. But all the dust have started to settle down now.Every thing might be clear tomorrow by this time.We are surely going to witness that bitcoin would survive.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Source of bitcoins on: July 31, 2017, 01:06:44 PM
I was thinking and discussing the same matter a few days ago. If my BTC reaches 5000$ one day then how can I sell my BTC to fiat and cash out my money?? The only possible solution was to sell the BTC in pieces and send it to many of my friend's accounts. Because if you sell all your BTC at once then obviously the government will ask too many questions about it.
Absolutely, thats the best way left to escape from being targeted by governments for our bitcoin earnings.Just sending small amounts of BTC to different accounts to cash out.Well,my earning has not reached that much big and so i don't have such problem now.Our government has already asked all banks to give details of persons whose accounts have more than $1500 transaction for taxing purpose. So in future,i will use the above mentioned option.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: South Korea to Legalize Bitcoin!!!! on: July 31, 2017, 01:01:51 PM
Yes,south korea has officially legalized bitcoin money transfer. It has asked bitcoin trading platforms to facilitate data processing facilities to know KYC and AML(Anti money laundering purposes). They have just followed phillipines which has legalized bitcoin remittances.Next to US and Japan,South korean bitcoin exchange market processes more global bitcoin trades.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a bitcoin wallet ? on: July 30, 2017, 10:44:00 AM
BTC how to create a bitcoin wallet what will be the cost for making a bitcoin wallet and what should be considered as a security measures to maintain security for wallet
As a regular user of electrum wallet,i would tell you how to create an electrum wallet.First download electrum wallet in your pc.Then install it.It would generate a seed of 13 words. You have to save it as per the order both in your laptop as well as print it and keep  paper copy of it.Then select the password. In future, whenever your pc gets damaged or else you forget your password, those 13 words are used to recover your wallet. You could select the transaction fee manually also. There is no synchronization problem in electrum wallet.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Anonymity on: July 30, 2017, 10:38:03 AM
Is Bitcoin's anonymity enough for you? Or do you wish it was anonymous? Do you take any measures to anonymize your BTC funds?
Bitcoin is pseudo anonymous but still i think its enough for me since i have only a small income from bitcoins and also it has not been yet regulated in our country india so that i don't have fear of being taxed by the government. But the scenario is totally different when you are a big holder of bitcoins because any one could trace your transactions and you would have to face a serious threat. So,at such situations, they would definitely have to use bitcoin mixer sevices provided by some companies to ensure their privacy.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Wallets Support BCC on: July 30, 2017, 10:27:04 AM
If I hold my Bitcoin in my Blockchain or Coinbase Wallet, will I get any BCC after the hard fork happens?

Also, are there any exchanges that support BCC.
Well,i think its very hard to find an exchange which supports BCC.Even the BCC officials are very much disappointed with this.Coinbase and GDAX have announced that they would not support BCC.Poloniex has said that it would just wait and decide whether to support BCC or not only after hard fork.Itmit,Bitmex and Exodus have also said that they would not support BCC.Bitmex has said that their users only have to withdraw their bitcoins and store it in wallet if they want BCC.I think the wallets ledger,Electrum cash,Bitcoin ABC will support BCC.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if we die? on: July 30, 2017, 10:11:27 AM
Thats highly possible to happen and it has already happened in many cases.Such bitcoins would become irretrievable becoming useless to any one especially to your family members.Thats why our family members should be taught about bitcoins and they must be provided with knowledge of private key.Otherwise, they would be losing a great fortune since bitcoin price may be very high during their periods.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Capitalism Flawed? on: July 29, 2017, 03:14:57 PM
Capitalism is only for the benefit of rich and not for the poor.Banks are an important aspect of capitalism. They collect deposits from middle class people, pay them very low interests and lend that money to big investors and rich people. Also, they charge heavy transaction fee for even smaller transaction mounts and sucked money of poor people more.Thats why satoshi created this revolutionary digital currency, bitcoin with decentralized nature. He wanted to free people from bankers and find a system in which money could be sent P2P without indulging banks at a very low fee.Bitcoin is almost achieving what satoshi dreamed and now it has become the worst nightmare not even to banks, but also to capitalists who think that they only deserve to be rich people.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is a roller coaster on: July 29, 2017, 03:04:03 PM
I do accept that bitcoin price is driven by te increase and decrease in demand for bitcoins. But the difference in fall of price will be low if that's the only reason.Another main reason for huge rise and fall of bitcoin price is the FUD periodically spread by big whales to buy bitcoins from newbies at a cheaper price.Whatever the FUD spread, bitcoin is unstoppable coin which would continuously rise in price despite such activities. So,invest in bitcoins with confidence.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plans for 1st august? on: July 29, 2017, 02:56:51 PM
What are your plans currently and what are you planning to do before this date? sell everything? hodl no matter what? maybe try to profit from a chain split? I'm personally still confused and I'm not sure what to do, I prefer waiting to see what is the standpoint of more exchanges and services.
I am not going to sell my bitcoins as i am not a newbie who don't know anything about bitcoin history and only knows to get panic.I have already noticed lots of FUD before.Bitcoin has survived lots of such critical issues raised before.I see it as a good chance to buy lots of bitcoins at a cheap price.Just my advice is to save your bitcoins in your wallet and just watch the game.
295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: July 26, 2017, 08:04:05 AM
I think bitcoin and many other crypto's have a bright future! There is a of great development behind the scenes to a degree most of us could not comprehend so I really doubt that bitcoin will be going anywhere. Its a strong community and has so much potential still waiting to be unlocked.
Bitcoin has a good community support.Already, chinese gamblers have left the market and now there is no manipulation in bitcoin price as it was before.Since bitcoin price has increased, signature campaigns have reduced their weekly pay outs.We could understand that they have to take such steps to make payments legit without any issues.Increase in bitcoin price should be considered only as a progress and not as a drawback.
296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best trading site now? on: July 26, 2017, 07:54:41 AM
I used to trade crypto back in 2014 but left it since. Heard bitcoin talk on the radio few days ago so decided to get back into the game. Read up about recent tradings and notice that polo seems to be the IT trading site now with a very high volume. So is polo the best trading site?
As far as i know, poloniex is the best and legit trading exchange for crypto coins. They try their best to remove scam coins. If you want to buy newly released coins, then bittrex is best for that since most of newly released coins are listed there.
297  Economy / Speculation / Re: where are you keeping your coins (1 aug) on: July 26, 2017, 07:50:31 AM
what the title says  Grin
I have already withdrawn my bitcoins from my poloniex exchange and have stored it safely in my electrum wallet in my laptop. Its because i read that most of exchanges might suspend deposits and withdrawals for 24 to 48 hours. Also,i read that transactions should be avoided during august 1.Thats why i have taken this decision.
298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of bitcoin before 1st August 2017 on: July 26, 2017, 07:45:13 AM
With the price decrease in bitcoins as on June and July, do you think the price of bitcoin will fall below $ 1000 before 1st August 2017?
No chance.Rather bitcoin price would increase to $3000.Bitcoin price is $2474 today and more chances are for it to increase. This price range is also due to some big whales dumping their huge volume of bitcoins as a last chance to make bitcoin price fall and buy cheap bitcoins before it skyrockets after august 1.
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the maximum cost of bitcoin in 2017? on: July 26, 2017, 07:26:00 AM
What do you think?
Since segwit is to be activated,we could expect a high increase in bitcoin price since all the weak hands who had doubt about hard fork would start rebuying bitcoins fast.If this smae trend continues without any FUD being spread, then we could expect a price range of $3500-$3800.
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: The last squeeze... on: July 26, 2017, 07:22:16 AM
you have already noticed that the Manipulation has begun. the whales have dumped a very large amount of bitcoin in less than 20 minutes. this is never normal in my books.
the first 20 minutes of Bitstamp shows nearly 1000BTC dumped at once.

the last squeeze to get all the impurities aka weak hands out is getting real.

what will this dip be?
please vote

From what I read it was some 4-5000BTC in a first step and then another ~2000BTC.
I also think it's an attempted market manipulation. Right on time a lot of newbie to jr members start crying out that Bitcoin is falling, Bitcoin is failing, new forks and so on.
I can't predict how low it will go, it depends a lot on how many such dumps can be done and if the weak hands get finally scared. For now the strategy seems to have failed, the market have eaten quite well the dumps and the price seems to keep recovering constantly after each dump.

Already, the manipulation has almost come to an end.Big whales have already had a great meal and now they are over expecting by dumping their bitcoins. But this time,i think that newbies will be careful enough to avoid selling their bitcoins at cheaper price.Thats why we could see bitcoin price has not fallen more.
