There are just incredible playoff matchups waiting to start in a short time period. For example, Golden State Warriors - Denver Nuggets can be one of them. I think that Warriors have a very difficult matchup already now. Nuggets are very strong special thanks to Jokic. If he maintains his solid performance, I believe they would make big difficulties for their opponent and even eliminate them.

I didn't see any Barcelona in the first half. They were like a weak second league team playing against Frankfurt and trying something desperately. Maybe it was because of their not caring about the Europa League too much I don't know. But I certainly believe that Frankfurt deserved this victory fully. Barcelona were nearly turning the game around in the last minutes but they couldn't.

When it comes to the draw between Manchester City and Real Madrid, I think that it is a very difficult one to predict in the first place. I see both teams having the same chance to reach the finale now. Manchester City might seem as a little ahead by some people but I think it is misleading. Real Madrid should never be underestimated from now on. Benzema would do whatever it takes to win even the championship.

Nets and Timberwolves have already reached 1/8-finals stage in the playoffs. And there are two games left in the play-in stage. These games are Hawks - Hornets and Pelicans - Spurs. These games both are going to be played tonight. Hawks and Pelicans are the favourite sides of these games. I don't have much doubt about Hawks honestly. But I'm not so sure about Pelicans. Because Spurs' performance in the recent times has been quite impressive. Maybe they can catch their opponent by surprise.

Bayern Munich experienced a huge disappointment against Villarreal in the Champions League unfortunately. And now, they have no other thing to do rather than focusing fully on winning the Bundesliga title this season. Maybe this result can affect them really badly for some time psychologically too. But I don't think that it would help Dortmund increase their chance for the title. The gap is already too big and Bayern Munich only need to keep this for some more weeks and that would be it.

Newcastle United is not level club for Mbappe and Haaland although offering with expensive salary because without participant on champion league not any chance to get star player. Newcastle are newly building up their squad now. Maybe they haven't had a impressive season so far but they have money and they want to build a squad full of strong players. And this is not the first example of it in the end. Players can still hesitate to go there and I'd understand that. But Newcastle have the potential to join the best teams in the future. They just need to convince big players to come here somehow. They have no issue with money and maybe it can work for some of top players too.

And now the semi-final matchups are determined. Liverpool have Villarreal as their opponent and Real Madrid are facing Manchester City. There are two English and two Spanish clubs in this round which is not surprising at all. Actually there is a surprising thing which is Villarreal's being one of the Spanish clubs. I guess that most people expected to see Atletico Madrid rather than them but here we are. But one thing is certain that Villarreal really deserve to be here now.

The rematch of the Leipzig - Atalanta draw can also be really interesting. The first game was in favour of Atalanta most of the time. They played much stronger than Leipzig indeed. But Leipzig still secured a draw at least. But it is obvious that Leipzig will need to perform a lot better than that to advance to the semi final round. Otherwise, Atalanta would finish them in Italy by another solid performance. But it feels like this is the end for Leipzig really. Atalanta are preparing to eliminate another German team after Leverkusen.

I have heard some rumours like Leipzig are trying to intervene and sign Erik ten Hag for their manager position now. As we have heard before, Manchester United have been interested in signing a deal with him as their permanent manager this summer. But if Leipzig do this, things can get really interesting. I think that it would make him feel better to manage one of the big teams like Manchester United rather than Leipzig. But we don't know his demands in the end so let's see.

In the Real Madrid - Chelsea game, I won't be expecting any surprise. I just expect a similar level of effort by Real Madrid, that's all. It would be fair enough for them to maintain their score advantage in total and even get another win in Santiago Bernabeu maybe. Chelsea have no other choice than fighting with all they have in this game. It is like they have literally nothing to lose now. In the worst case, they would lose once again but they would at least show a decent effort.

Milan are on a streak of two draws in the league now and it is worrying for the coming weeks. Inter and Napoli are still right behind them now. And it really looks like we will have a very exciting race for the Serie A title even on the last week of the season presumably. Because every team in top three continue to make simple mistakes. And this keeps this race fresh like all the time. It is good for us to watch of course. To me, it is not good to see a team pulling away many weeks before the end already.

Today, Barcelona played an away game against Levante. They did what was expected from them but it was very difficult at the same time. Levante were ready to surprise them really much and they were almost making it. But Barcelona were saved by L. de Jong in the last minutes and they won 3-2. The gap with Real Madrid is still 12 points but Barcelona still maintain their chance for the La Liga title now. However it is too hard to even imagine it for Barcelona logically.

Everything was under control for not only Inter but also Juventus. Juventus experienced some problems on finishing their dangerous attacks with goals but they still did it. It was very wise for Juventus to sign a great striker like Vlahovic. Because his contribution to the team since he joined has been a lot. He is a very special centre-forward.

Maybe Bayern Munich didn't have a very comfortable win but getting it was the most important of course. They would have demolished Augsburg here but I guess that they didn't want to tire themselves too much right before the game vs Villarreal. It is going to be critical for them as they lost the first leg of the draw by 1-0.

It wasn't too hard to predict that Real Madrid would beat their opponent up easily. Against this much powerful team, Getafe had near zero chance to even get one point. Real Madrid still didn't want to let them come and they dominated the whole game. The gap between them and Barcelona is fifteen now. But I think Barcelona would beat Levante.

Atletico Madrid - Manchester City game is approaching us now. Atletico Madrid are going to need to have a more attacking game plan at this point. Because they are already 1-0 behind now and they need to find that goal before their opponent. If they succeed, then things can go on very interestingly. Otherwise it is the end for Atletico Madrid I'm afraid.

Tottenham and Chelsea had an incredible performance each in their games absolutely. Firstly Chelsea played away against Southampton and they completely destroyed them by 6-0. And it was good to see Werner scoring too as it'd improve his self-confidence. And Tottenham destroyed Aston Villa away too by 4-0. Kane - Son duo are just great.

If I am to choose a side in the Manchester City - Liverpool game, I would choose Liverpool to win. There is no doubt that Manchester City are keeping their advantage as they are playing a home game in the end. But I don't see them as a too big favourite in this game. Liverpool might be seen as the underdog by bookies too however I'm still going to trust Liverpool in this. Liverpool's performance in the recent times has been more impressive to me as well.

Napoli really have a difficult fixture ahead of them now. Fiorentina are one of the tough teams in this season. Maybe they are weaker in offense due to losing Vlahovic but they are still doing just fine. And as they haven't been losing for some weeks, they can be really durable against Napoli too. Even if Napoli win this game, I don't expect it to be a similar one to the Atalanta win. Even in that game, Atalanta played great but Napoli got a win like 3-1 unexpectedly.

To tell the truth now, I'm thinking over Villarreal's semi final chance quite seriously. I'm one hundred percent aware of the fact that Bayern Munich are a way more difficult opponent than Juventus for them. Bayern Munich can be very deadly at scoring goals in their home games as you all know already. Villarreal defense will have a big responsibility against them to keep them away from their goal as much as possible. They like to play for wearing their opponents out in this kind of games. And we will see all together whether they will succeed.
