There is someone trading on cryptsy (no idea who), that is trying to force the marketcap down lower. Comkort's zeit ~270 to buy, on cryptsy 269 down to 209 is sell orders , the guy seems to like pricing around 0.16366400 LTC per order. So if you are buying you can get zeit cheaper on cryptsy as long as his supply of zeit last. Would get them off of the exchange as soon as purchased, in case they pull any funny business. Lots of volatility between 204 and 247 on Cryptsy. Just what a speculator likes. Big speculative Buy money moving around in the Buy wall. Maybe whoever it is regularly reads these pages. I don't think we should jump to conclusions as to who it is. JUST DON'T SELL below 290. Otherwise you'll let him back in. |

Cryptsy is back, ZEIT deposit has arrived.
There is something really odd with Cryptsy at the moment. My tussle with them wasn't as one-sided as Lion's recent snack. I had to fight tooth and claw, but my Pending withdrawal was finally processed at 2am this morning.  For the best part of two days I kept on getting messages that my withdrawal pending problem had been escalated to their technical team. What's so f*``"&*%£¬ technical about clicking on the SEND button? So I sent this final message - "How much longer will it take to process my withdrawal?
Smaller withdrawals have happened for other people, so the system is working. Does that mean you don't have the Zeitcoins to cover larger withdrawals? It sounds like you have been manipulating the market and have been caught out."Shortly after my withdrawal was processed. Caution advised. |

Price schmice. This coin has a great feel to it. Critical mass building up ready to explode into crypto-consciousness. We should have a Greek Ambassdor. Their banks are about to collapse. They will leave the euro and need a new currency, or even currencies. Zeitcoin is a ready made digital currency. Do I need to draw a diagram? The Greek Finance Minister has appeared on the Keiser Report several times and knows about cryptos. Save him from a fate worse than Bitcoin!

@a_cat_named_joe Try canceling your withdrawal & then try to withdrawal say 9 million at a time to see if you receive it quicker. There is no option for me to cancel. On Cryptsy's Withdrawals page it shows the transaction is still pending. On the Balances page where there is normally an option to cancel, it shows no transactions pending. So I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere. I've made copies of the two pages in case there is a dispute. Thanks for the helping hand though. Did a little 1k withdrawal and deposit on Cryptsy .. withdrawal arrived, deposit didn't. Thinking back, when I was pulling out over 10mil at a time, it used to take a bit longer, so kinda did 10mil round arrived fairly fast, but sure Vern likes to hold onto Zeit - buying the sell wall probably messed up his bots  I have 14.3 million still showing as pending, so you might be right about the 10 million+ interlude. I took out all I could between 227 and 260. I reckon everything below 1000 litoshis will soon be a 'no chance' area for buyers. Why? A great Zeitcoin team. And when you compare the dynamic POS Zeitcoin with doddering Doge you have an idea of where the coin should be. Puleeze - no hypnodogs! |

maybe selling 20M zeit around 120litetoshis wasnt such a good idea   I must've bought it from you then. Thanks! They are safely stored already, so no need to worry. Price really skyrocketed at Cryptsy once the wallet was 'fixed', with hardly any coins left below 290 litoshis. that is well above 2 satoshis at the current prices. Someone has been doing some serious moving on Cryptsy. We jumped from #95 to #87 on coinmarketcap in only a couple of hours with the majority of the 24-hour volume, $558, being from Cryptsy. I took a big chunk out of the sell wall up to and into 260, but still waiting for my withdrawal to be processed. Several hours and two support tickets later my withdrawal is still showing Pending. Cryptsy/Craptsy likes to hang on to Zeit. |

Thanks Ray. We are really lucky to have you, Kiklo and Lion on board. My old wallet works fine and all the files are intact. I have backups of the .dat file. Rather than mess about too much, I'm going to delete the new installation which is on a separate User account. Then download the new QT wallet file to my Old wallet User account > Unzip it to the desktop > Click on the new .exe file> and hopefully that should update automatically. One question - do I delete the old QT.exe before installing or will I have to do that after? |

... if you are on version 2.0.1.3 or 2.0.1.4 , the update is very easy , just download the new wallet and install and you are done.
Is it really that easy with 2.0.1.4? I just click on install and my wallet is updated automatically? I don't have to copy and paste the old .dat file into the new? If it is that simple I'll do that. I'm a non-techie with Windows 7. I decided to download the whole shebang of the blockchain. Syncing stopped a few times as normal with alts. I closed and opened the wallet to speed up and continue syncing , but messages popped up a saying things like "fatal error" and then disappear a second later - then the wallet continued to sync. Every time I open and close the wallet I keep getting error messages - not all the same though. The messages say things like "st13" - "runtime error" - "replace files" and disappear almost instantly. Is this likely to continue when the wallet is synced? Should I abort the sync and start all over again? (Happened again just now. "Exception. Fatal error. st13 - application will close now", but the wallet kicks back in and continues to sync.) |

YES - WE - DO! We need to be in touch with a larger market with a BTC pairing. To become whale-bait again? Going too far too fast cost us dearly back in April. We need to generate more volume on the exchanges we've already got, by attracting new - AND COMMITTED! - long-terms supporters/investors. Which is why the Knights are so important. Are you going to add your voice to the Knights, 'joe'? As if we aren't whale-bait already? Simply being LISTED on an exchange makes you eligible as "whale bait".  Also, most people trade or buy into other alt coins with BTC, NOT LTC. When people want to go buy Zeit, do we REALLY want to make them go through the trouble of converting to LTC? That's bad user experience and marketing right there. As for BTER being criminals, is there corroborating evidence for this? A tweet does not evidence make.  I read the through the BTER criminal thread. Pure tosh. Amateurish FUD. BTER are still trading as normal. As far as I know, nobody has been found guilty of anything. Not even charged or arrested. Atronite - you took the words right out of my mouth. We are whale bait. If there are whales on BTER, they first have to buy Zeit to become Zeit whales. Let them buy all they want. The more whales buying and selling the better. It evens things out. Zeit is concentrated too much in one place. The BTER 'revelations' are bunkum. ... think of it in terms of how crypto users work and it should come as no surprise that if we get listed on a BTC/Zeit market on a strong, well-known exchange and we start having movement of a decent volume on that exchange, then anyone in their right mind would move their sell orders to the BTC/Zeit exchange. That is, of course, unless there are people who placed their Zeit on the sell side and have just forgotten about them. If that's the case, sucks to be them.
I agree. The decision has been made. We are moving for placement on BTER. We should get behind that decision. The vote for Zeit is up in the thousands. There must be lots of votes coming from BTER users who like the look of Zeit. There is a link to this forum on the voting form. If we get BTER status then that should be it. Build on it. One more thing, BTER give daily interest on coins kept on their exchange. With Fluttercoin they match the full annual POS interest of 5%. If they gave interest on Zeit similar to its annual interest rate of 25% there would be a mass migration to BTER. Anything like that rate of interest would attract BTER users like bees around a honey pot. |

Doge is dead.
I think some one might drop it to 0 for the 1 year aniversery. There was a "DOGE chart" that shows the chart going around the DOGE.  The "you are here" isn't up to date. This is so funny, yet so true of most coins. I think Doge will be OK. It is very well tried and tested. Transaction fees are much lower than Litecoin. Doge is accepted universally. The community is great. The exchanges like it. Price rise coming? Youbetcha! Otherwise why are so many perched here s... stirring? |

this updated client it started sync right away, but is it mandatory?
Version 2.04 is mandatory! This Update for 2.04 fixes the sync issues, some of you experienced. But it is best to be complete updated! So I would say please update! Thanks. Much appreciated. I'm installing the new updated version now. |
