Thanks sandor111 and worldly I got bfgminer working with both dualminer and gridseed but seems like it is more stable for gridseed than dualminer.

Using the new compiled bfgminer from this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=168174.msg5689374#msg5689374 I was able to get it working with Minepeon for both gridseed and dualminer.  Will see how stable it runs since I was running it on the Pi with two cgminer instances.  Minepeon reports higher hashrate than the pool.

i`ve managed to compile & run BFGMiner on my minepeon and I didn`t experience any lockups for 10 hours with 10 miners

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=168174.msg5689374#msg5689374

there may be a bug still... always the pool dif is set/reported to 0

Thanks!!! I've used your compiled bfgminer and got minepeon running with the dualminers and gridseeds.  Not a lot of hashing power but hopefully will get more gridseeds now.

Everything still on track to be shipped out 17/18?

Has anyone successfully run these hanging off a Linux-CGMiner box that is also running GPUs? I am considering two instances of cgminer, one for my 280x cards and one for these?

Apologies if I missed this earlier in the post. I went through the whole thread and I think i have seen it implied.

Thanks,
Woody

I don't have any GPUs but I can tell you I have successfully run two instances of cgminer on a RPi.  One cgminer for gridseed and one cgminer for dualminer each in their own screen session.  Both instances are hashing away with no issues.  I want to a cgminer that has support for gridseed and dualminer so I can run one but it's working so I can't complain.

I've been having a problem with my miners disconnecting and just showing "dispatching new work toGC3355 LTC core" and nothing else. WTF???

It started happening after I pointed them to ScryptGuild.com
Before that, they had pretty much "yay" hashed full time without any interruptions.

Does anyone know if a pool server can cause this to happen? Make them quit running by perhaps, quit sending work to them for a few minutes which causes them to just - hang?

I don't think it's the USB hub causing it.

This happened 6 hours after I signed up with ScryptGuild, then another 2 hours after that, then another 18 hours after that. It's not the USB hub or lack of power causing it.

To get them running again just now, I have re-set all the ports using disable-enable which saves me from having to physically unplug and re-plug each one. I'm going to figure out a way to make this problem 'auto detect this failure and run disable-enable for each port automatically so they keep on hashing.

I have also disabled the power saving feature on each 'root hub' in device manager just to make sure WinBlow$ doesn't cause it to happen too.

I'm using Win7. I don't know if XP allows one to make these types of config changes or not.

I"m not interested in putting up with this disconnect shyt! I am sure no one else is either Wink

I know it isn't an issue with scryptguild as I'm running the gridseed I have on it and it's been running for 5 days straight.  The only difference is I'm running it on Linux on a pi :/ Sorry it doesn't really help since you are running windows but I can confirm no issues with scryptguild.

Ordered 2 this time but hopefully on the next GB you'll have an option to get only the units and none of the accessories.

I'm interested as well and would like to know if prices are in CAD or USD as well as if you are shipping it with power supplies and cables.
295  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Introduction to DualMiner USB (could mine both BTC and LTC) on: March 04, 2014, 06:33:56 PM
Hobby miner as well.  I've been running 3 dualminers on Raspberry Pi and an Orico 10 port USB hub for a good 4 days now and getting the 70kh/s on all three miners these are my stats so far A:1224336  R:34896  HW:58.  So haven't had any major issues.  I did have to restart when I was using the miner on Windows 7.
