I agree with the message of the OP, bitcointalk has helped me in many ways. The benefits of having a community are enormous. From support to safety, learning to sharing, every single day we talk about bitcoin, the dangers of custodial wallets, why bitcoiners should not store their keys online e.t.c. These words are being mentioned on the forum on a regular basis, it’s hard for someone to be here and not pick up these things.

Come to think of it — I wonder how long Bitcointalk would've survived if it wasn't for signature campaigns? Activity wouldn't be this big if it wasn't for bounties.
If there were no signature campaigns or bounties, the forum would still be here but I doubt we would have as much traffic as we do now. The rewards of signature campaigns is a good reason why many users are still active here and care so much about this place. Of course there are other things they make the forum compelling, the information and data here is second to none. Also people feel a sentimental attachment to their bitcointalk account, they are proud of what they have achieved here….the ranks, the posts, merits, badges e.t.c. I think signature campaigns make the forum better, users tend to improve their post quality when they are in a campaign. |

I don’t think Ten Hag will be worried about losing his job at this time in the season. Results are turning in their favor whether we think it’s impressive or not. The champions league may be the deal breaker, it will be really bad if they are knocked out of every competition. That will be a red flag for ETH to leave. Jim Ratcliffe will be looking to make some changes to the club, he has already told Ten Hag to sort his issues with Sancho. I’m looking at Manchester United lineup and Harry Maguire is starting. The fans are already praying he doesn’t screw up, Maguire is not such a terrible defender, only when he came to Manchester United the pressure of leadership and the price tag may be the reason why his performance dropped. I don’t have any confidence that Manchester United may make it to the next round of the championship league, the fixtures are not looking friendly and judging from the other two games, you can see they were outscored by their opponents. I think the best Manchester United can get from this fixture is a draw.

There is a chance for Manchester United to lose some money because of their player Antony. They hired Antony from Ajax in 2022 for 95 million Euros which is a huge amount of money, hope to see good performance from this player and now because of the being under investigation, he couldn't have any benefits for Ten Hag and his team and there is the chance for them to get him out of the team.  I think Anthony was a bad deal and a huge flop for Manchester United, the club already regrets the huge fee spent on acquiring Anthony. I have been reading a lot of comments on the bad situation at Manchester United and fans seem to be pointing the finger at Erik Ten Hag. I don’t like ETH but Manchester United’s poor performances cannot be completely blamed on Erik Ten Hag, the board’s decision making in the transfer window has a role to play. Ten Hag is managing the club with the players at his disposal and I feel Manchester United needs to be more technical in their transfer dealings.

 Real Madrid is considering making Kepa permanent from Chelsea and Real Madrid will make its final decision when the season ends. As we know, Kepa was brought in from Chelsea on loan for 1 season and that made Kepa very happy because he no longer felt like he was at Chelsea with a performance that was far from what was expected. At Real Madrid, Kepa always starts and as a substitute for Courtois who is absent due to injury, his performance is always impressive in guarding Real Madrid's goal. Maybe with all the considerations and also good statistics, in the end Real Madrid is very interested in making him permanent and that will certainly make Kepa very happy because he really loves Real Madrid and doesn't want to go back to Chelsea. What do you think? Does Kepa deserve a place at Real Madrid with his performances so far? I think this is a good decision for the club to make since that Courtois is out injured and Kepa has been impressive in his absence it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have both goal keepers in the team. We are not in china and unless a real crime is being committed by the administrators of the forum, I don’t think any government will be looking to prosecute anyone. I remember there was similar talk when Chipmixer was shut down. There’s no direct connection between the admin and companies who chose to advertise here, even forum staff do not wear certain signatures just so the forum can be protected.

Manchester City without Kelvin De Bruyne and Rodri is an overhyped team. The absence of both players have had a negative impact on the team’s performance in the last three games including defeat to Arsenal this weekend which is the most recent lose they have conceded. Gabriel Martinelli’s goal was enough to give Arsenal a win. Arsenal will treasure this win, the team have worked hard to come this far, good work to Mikel Arteta, trusting the process is finally paying off.

Liverpool drew away to Brighton and left 2 points on the table. Despite leading at half time they couldn't hold on to their lead and drew. I wouldn't have expected Brighton, who conceded 6 goals against Aston Villa, to be too focused in the Liverpool game but it looks like they recovered from that heavy defeat with ease. Both teams had European commitments during the week and were visibly tired.
In another game with the same scoreline Newcastle drew 2-2 away to West Ham. Newcastle, who managed to beat PSG with an excellent game during the week, failed to win this away game despite taking the lead. Despite losing the first half, Newcastle started the second half fast and scored 2 goals in 5 minutes with Isak, but they couldn't prevent the goal in the last minutes and drew.
This result was expected, we know how dangerous Brighton are from last season and they are replicating the same attitude of toughness this season making it very difficult for top teams to get a win against them. Playing away for Liverpool it was likely that the game will finish in a draw and so it was. The same as Newcastle United and westham, an expectated draw match which I don’t consider a bad result at all for all four clubs. |

Manchester City are really feeling the effect of not having KDB on pitch, there is no one to get the ball to Haaland and that’s why the team is losing games. It’s unfortunate that Manchester City’s new signings were not able to make good impact in the game against Arsenal in the weekend and recored a loss while Arsenal’s new signings were impressive and their effort was enough to win the match for the Gunners. A few more additions in January will strengthen the team even more.

Erling Haaland’s €200million release clause makes it possible for clubs to try to sign him even before he sees out his contract with Manchester City. I also think it is a reasonable price for a player of Erling Haaland’s quality but I doubt Manchester City will want to loose Haaland for any reason and will try to improve his contract terms in other to prevent him from leaving.
