Well, if there is a rich someone who is willing to pay normal money for you, then you will not be poor at all and poverty is not about you Wink Also, money can be just one of the elements of prosperity and if you have the opportunity to receive goods and services directly without the mediation of money, then you can do without money. However, there will still be some element of artificiality in this, because somewhere in your connection there will still be money, although it will not concern you directly.

...Lampard wasn't a coach so anything instead of Lampard was a win for the fans, people aren't ready to have this discussion because Lampard is a Chelsea legend but he wasn't supposed to be handed Chelsea in the first instance and neither does he deserves the second opportunity he got under Todd Boehly to handle the club. He cost us so much in the short period he was the caretaker of the club. Immediately he took over, our champions league hopes got destroyed and other hopes as well...
I have a lot of sympathy for Frank Lampard, but so far this is still not the figure in the coaching shop who can raise the club from the middle of the table to the level of the championship leaders. Lampard in his current form is more of a head coach who can keep any club in the Premier League. Lampard's appointment at the end of the season is a clear indication that Todd Boehly and the company did not have a clear plan and candidates in case of Potter's dismissal and their feverish search activity led to Lampard being appointed, who, with all due respect to him, did not pull the role of the person who would save a hopelessly failed season for Chelsea.

I hope you have watch the Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City, the city dominated the whole match, but a mistake cost them to lose that cup because they didn't expect goal from Chelsea and that's how they lost the League cup to Chelsea. So what am I saying, Chelsea don't have much changes in their current squad and yet they win that important matches and Barcelona could win the Champions League if they are lucky as they have good players that are very talented and good with skills and new young players as well, expect good things to happen to Barcelon next season.
Relying too much on luck is an extremely risky tactic that rarely leads to the desired result. It is also difficult to get to the final of a tournament like the Champions League on luck alone. Personally, I can only think of Real Madrid with its victory in the last draw. But I would not write off Chelsea's victory as pure luck, yet the club itself made some efforts there and was not hopeless in the playoff games. Although yes, Manchester City was the undisputed favorite in the final, not Chelsea. You can't rely purely on luck, it must be backed up by something else.

They are not going to improve as a club and not going to be a desirable destination for great players if they do not change their approach. And I understand that in the end, a club has to think about money. But the problem with Dortmund is that they are only thinking about money. And they are not going to do very well with that mentality. It would have been good to even see if they actually invested that money into making a really good squad. But they don’t do that as well. The sad part is that they know this very well, but they do not want to do anything about it. They just want to keep doing what they are doing.
In general, I wonder how Borussia Dortmund manages to remain among the leaders of German football with such tactics of the annual sale of their leaders. On the other hand, after all this, it is not at all surprising that Bayern Munich has been consistently becoming Bundesliga champions year after year for the past eleven years. And even when Bayern Munich seems to be handing the title into the wrong hands, as this season, Borussia Dortmund is not able to take this title and take the decisive step.

I have also seen reports that Luis Enrique will be the new PSG manager.
I feel Zidane doesn't want to rush into a club without properly understanding their project. With what he achieved in Madrid, expectations will be high in any club he goes to and if he doesn't live up to those expectations then he will be labeled a failure even if he didn't actually fail. PSG is a club that are in dire need of success in the UCL and if he cannot give that to them then he will be in trouble. If the rumors about PSG signing Enrique is true then they are on course to get a good manager.
Actually, the other day there were rumors that Real Madrid wants to offer Zidane activities in the structure of the club related to the technical needlework of the team in the near-football sphere. And so, I think that Zidane is not interested in returning to coaching at the club level in the near future and the specialist is much more interested in working in national teams. As for Luis Enrique and Paris Saint-Germain, I would like to say the following that this specialist is able to take the club to a new level, another question is that it will be necessary to be patient at times to let the specialist work for at least a few years.

Barcelona had to go through many transitions at the club and it did make it difficult for them to return aggressively in the ucl after several of their senior players left for other clubs and some retired. So, in the current era, Barcelona seems to have revived after Xavi managed to bring Barcelona back to win the La Liga trophy.
well, next season will be a big proof for barcelona in the ucl where they should be able to reach the final with all the qualities they currently have. Tiki Taka can be resurrected by Xavi as that is their trademark and that could be fine tuned to start him in the UCL next season.
It's just that rivals began to adapt to tiki-taka and find an effective antidote. Also, for such a style of play, players of the appropriate high level are required, and I am not sure that the current generation of football players is just as talented in this style, and the old generation is already gone. However, Barcelona fans should be pleased by the fact that the team was led by Xavi, who grew up in the Barcelona system and absorbed these principles from childhood and who knows what is needed for this and what performers are needed at the same time. Winning La Liga this season already says that Xavi is on the right track.

Chelsea have already endured too many defeats and humiliations in league games this season, and I doubt they will be able to perform at their best next season. Looking at the club's current squad, I don't believe they are serious about winning, yet it is only a matter of time before the club regains their form. Mauricio Pochettino is the new manager, and fans should give him a chance to understand what his presence means for the club. Chelsea's problem is simple inconsistency; the Blues need to recruit more players who are serious about playing high-level football.
It all depends on how long it will take Pochettino to build a competitive team and how satisfied the head coach is with the available squad. But I don't think we should expect wonderful results from Chelsea in the first half of the championship. However, I will be glad to make a mistake and history knows a lot of examples when just the arrival of a new coaching staff transformed teams and they began to show mind-blowing results from the very beginning of cooperation.

Todd Boehly was scammed by Graham Potter, he thought he was a good manager not knowing that it was the Brighton players that were special and not Graham Potter. When he was at Brighton he was looking like a fantastic coach but as he came to Chelsea, his true colours got exposed. Low key he's just a Frank Lampard type of manager. They have no game plan but just hoping on the players to win games for them. They don't have substitution power that can come into a game and change the outcome of the game. All their players play in one pattern and that makes watching their football boring. Todd Boehly also has to be blamed for the downfall of Chelsea as he rushed everything but didn't give them to to settle down.
Well, everyone has the right to experiment and a similar experiment with Potter could well succeed. However, we can say that Potter was ruined by the fact that he immediately came from a modest team that did not claim the title of a grandee, he immediately got into a team that was already a grandee. Not everyone copes with this, and Potter did not succeed either. Moreover, we can also say that Todd Boehly's disorderly buying of expensive players has further aggravated the matter.

I don't agree with you that Real Madrid don't need Mbappe now. Because they have newly lost Benzema to Al Ittihad so they need to bring a new striker before the new season starts. If PSG give a signal like they will sell Mbappe this summer then Real Madrid would surely be in line to sign him right away. For now they are just waiting patiently to see how things will go.
As I said if they can't sign Mbappe now there is still no problem. There are many striker alternatives in the market now to fill the space in the lineup for next season. I don't know how much money they are eager to spend though because I think they might plan to allocate as much money as possible for Mbappe's demands and a possible transfer fee as a plus.
If Real Madrid fail to sign Mbappe, then surely a contract with Kane will be signed. Moreover, there was information recently that Kane was telling his Tottenham teammates that he would move to Real Madrid. Real Madrid, after Benzema's departure, needs a super scoring striker with experience. In addition, recently, not least after working with Mourinho, Kane has improved his assistant skills quite well, which could be useful when playing in conjunction with Mbappe.

I think roma has tried their best to hire one of the best coach but it has not been easy for them to get the best players into the club, this is just because they can't afford it. If roma has been able to sign in good players , with coach like Mourinho I'm very sure the team will bring lots of trophies. Mourinho has tried his best for roma, so whatever the team's bringing forth as result it is not the fault of the coach because the coach is playing a good role and the management can only bring in players they can afford according to their financial capability.
Well, if Mourinho stays in Roma, what does it mean that the club's management agrees to provide him with opportunities to strengthen the squad. In this light, Jose's rejection of the offer to head Al-Ahli for a lot of money looks quite significant. However, everything can still change and I think that Mourinho will not expect the very beginning of the season and will announce his plans in the near future. Roma definitely needs to strengthen in order to qualify for more in the upcoming season.

Yeah, I think Manchester city surprised alot of people In this season, including their opponents, so right now, every club doing all the can to step up in preparation for the next season, and again, you are right, the season didn't end the way I expected it to, but yeah, that's football, most times, things will never go the direction one expect it to go,  the most disappointing outcome for me was the fall out of Arsenal from winning the premier league title - oh, yeah, I guess it's disappointing for me simply because I am an Arsenal fan, but all the same, the best team won it at the end, I hope Arsenal come back alive and make us proud in the coming season.
I also regret that Arsenal did not manage to win the Premier League this season because it is unknown whether such an opportunity will appear next season, given the cosmic competition and the fact that all the long-term leaders had obvious problems this year. We can say that this year it was not Guardiola who won the title as always, but Arsenal faltered at the end of the season and missed out on the title. Well, I don't think it's like the situation with Leicester, who had his chance and used it, but hardly had it anymore in the coming years. I think Arsenal, on the contrary, can stay at the same level and even strengthen both in terms of the game and mentally and get a new chance to win the Premier League again.

Ancelotti has a bigger job in this transfer window this season. I think one of the things that has to be done is to bring in a lot of players to fill the gaps where they have been left behind by their players who have gone to other clubs in the transfer window. The midfield will probably be very tough after bellingham comes in and diaz can also help the midfield be strong. For the position of the attacker, it is possible as you said where ancelotti needs several players to be able to support their strengths in the next season.
I see that there are several quality stickers that are targeted by Ancelotti, such as Mbappe and Harry Kane, even Osimhen is also associated with Real Madrid. I think one of them will most likely be brought in by ancelotti in this season's transfer window.
I think in the case of Kane, a lot will depend on whether Mbappe can get it now. If Real Madrid succeeds with Mbappe, then in the case of Kane, Real Madrid will not be so determined and will try to bring down the price, although there was information that the club has money at the same time to buy Kane and Mbappe. The whole question is the expediency of all this and whether both of these superforwards will be able to get along in Ancelotti's tactical formations.
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 14, 2023, 11:05:02 PM
But I feel that Real Madrid will have to put a lot of effort into the negotiations if they want to get Mbappe from PSG. Because currently there is news that the opportunity for the club that has the most potential to get Mbappe may be Manchester United. And this reason is reinforced by the news that Manchester United's ownership may also be transferred to a new owner, namely Sheikh Jassim, who has currently made a high enough offer to buy all of Manchester United's shares from the current owner. And between the owners of PSG, namely Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Sheikh Jassim, of course, the two of them definitely have a pretty good relationship because they are both from Qatar.
So that Real Madrid's desire, which has wanted Mbappe even since last season, may encounter big obstacles and obstacles because Manchester United, who are competitors in the race for Mbappe, certainly have more points when the club is truly in new hands.
On the one hand, it is true that the current owner of Paris Saint-Germain and the future owner of Manchester United may be important for the successful completion of the transfer. Also, do not forget that after Real Madrid's previous attempt to buy Mbappe, the clubs did not have the most friendly relations, and therefore I quite believe that Paris Saint-Germain would prefer to sell Mbappe to any other club, but not to Real Madrid. On the other hand, I think that the desire of Mbappe himself is also not of the last importance, and he seems to want to move to Real Madrid, especially since the club seems to be even ready to pay about 150-180 million euros for this right now. Therefore, I think this is the best option for PSG and Mbappe, in order to stay in normal relations with each other.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 13, 2023, 11:59:47 PM
I don't doubt it, but I think PSG could repeat the same strategy with Mbappé even though he is one of the best in the world. Or so I'm mistaken, mistaken and could be that one of the best players in the world? Or will the situation change in a surprising way, as it did at the start of last season, when he signed a renewal after almost moving to Real Madrid?
In any case, to have complete information on the situation with Mbappe, you need to be inside the club and the player's environment. Everything else is just idle speculation, which at times have only little to do with reality. But apparently Mbappe and the Real Madrid management decided to speed up the situation and, without waiting for the next season, arrange Mbappe's transfer already in this transfer window. Nothing else is seen after Mbappe's letter to the PSG leadership leaked to the press.

I don't agree that Tuchel needs time. I don't think he'll do anything spectacular in Bayern Munich even if he's given the time. Tuchel has never made a solid impact in any club he has managed and they have not been small clubs. He might win the league at Bayern, but that's just about all of it. He was able to win the champions league with Chelsea, which is pretty impressive but he was stick sacked by the club. He lacks consistency. He performs well in a short term but when you think about the long term, he is not good enough.
He might prove me wrong and do well in Bayern Munich, but I believe he will be sacked next season.
In any case, I think there is some difference when a coach comes to the team during the season and he has to work with the material and with the tactics and style of play that was played before. Therefore, it is still not worth jumping to conclusions and it is worth giving Tuchel the opportunity to try to change the style of play of Bayern Munich to suit his own vision.

Every manager that have the experience to be at the white hart line unde levy knew that the club won't achieve anything with such policy from the board, mourinho and antonio conte speak up about that multiple times and yeah pochettino is the one with the greatest achievement under super limited resources. It's a whole new level for poch to bring chelsea with his idea to bring a success that nobody can imagined.
As for Pochettino's future success at Chelsea or, conversely, failure, a lot depends on what role the club owner Todd Boehly will play. For in my humble opinion, a big role in Chelsea's relatively unsuccessful results lately is that Boehly fancies himself a genius of scouting and the transfer department of the club, although the sobering reality seems to say something completely different.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 12, 2023, 11:43:12 PM
Chelsea always following neymar situation year after year though.
Next season could be a decider for him personally to choose to stay at psg or move elsewhere to a club with huge ambitions and past history to win things. Manchester united and chelsea keen to sign him but for now it would cost a lot so yeah keeping him on the radar is the best action they could do. Ligue 1 will never be the same without messi leaving and now mbappe on the verge to leave as well.
Oh, yes, against the background of new rumors that Paris Saint-Germain may sell Mbappe already this offseason, against the background of his refusal to extend his contract with the club in the future, it is quite likely that PSG will want to receive at least some compensation in order not to let the player go free as a free agent. But then, indeed, the club's management will not be so interested and it will be necessary to stay even without Neymar. If Mbappe is sold, then it is quite possible to try to build a game around Neymar. However, it seems that the president of Real Madrid recently mentioned that Mbappe will not come to the club this season, and besides Real Madrid, I do not see absolutely other options for continuing Mbappe's career.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 12, 2023, 11:33:50 PM
I believe that Messi's performance will be secondary to the decision whether he plays the next World Cup in 2026 or not. With secondary I don't mean that it doesn't matter at all. But frankly speaking, I don't expect him to play a real mess in Miami. He will still be able to contribute to the team on a high level and have amazing moments for the crowd. That won't be the problem. But I think it will be important what the Argentinian crowd wants and what Messi's appeal as a brand and also as a supporting player for the team is. If the whole country of Argentina begs for Messi to play the World Cup, I am not sure that a coach would decide to publicly announce that Messi won't be nominated. The risk for the coach would be very high if things go wrong even when they would have gone wrong with Messi. If Messi does not announce his retreat, I think we will see him play one more World Cup.
Also, a lot depends on such elementary things as physical fitness and health. If all this is on the level, then I think there will not be a single coach of the Argentine national team who will risk not including Messi in the squad. But once again, I repeat that there are still three whole years left and a lot can happen during this time, especially at the age that Messi is at, when it becomes harder to recover every year and therefore some players on the contrary refuse calls to the national team in order to find strength and health to play for their club. I'm not saying that this will happen now, I'm talking about what may happen in a few years. The very fact of Messi playing in the USA is already an important factor in attracting attention to the 2026 World Cup.

https://www.mancity.com/news/mens/pep-guardiola-new-manchester-city-contract-63804787

I don't even think guardiola will be leaving from the club in summer as his contract is still remain very long until 2025. Some players like gundogan probably leave city in summers but im not sure about its coach will be leaving from there. Competing in EPL has become very good challenge for him. he will remain in city until his contract end. Why leave if he can still win 1 or even 2 more treble winners? Haaland is also committing with guardiola to stay even longer in manchester city as well. Guardiola already in the most competitive league. Any year in EPL gonna be a huge challange for him.
I don't see any reason for Guardiola to leave Manchester City after winning the Champions League. On the contrary, now a stone has fallen off his shoulders, nothing is so pressing and he can safely continue working at the club until the end of his contract. Haaland should also stay at the club in the coming years. So now why doesn't Pep try to win the Champions League and the Premier League again, because he is making a great history of the club here and now. But after the contract ends in 2025, I wouldn't be surprised if Guardiola takes a sabbatical for a year or two.
