281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polkadot Could reach $100 or more? on: January 21, 2022, 03:59:10 PM
No need to introducing polkadot, an open source blockchain platform which is skyrocketed by its price and now people accepted it as trustworthy and without asking any proof. now it is worth $27 and it went at $53 as ATH. I want to hold this Most discussed altcoin after ether and bnb. Is it possible it could reach $100 or more in next bull run? Or It would suffer to break its old ath that time due to competition with similar project?

The dot coin is a coin of the Polkadot ecosystem and we all know what hype it has created in the market in recent times.  It is currently priced at around $21 which is 60% below the ATH price.  At present, its price is very low but many people call it Ether killer for some special benefits.  As it is more versatile than the Ether network, it gives developers more than one platform, they can also work on new crypto on the same platform.  Basically, developers find it more convenient and comfortable to work on Polkadot.  This is why Polkadot is currently more popular among developers and its investors are basically developers.

Dot is much newer than Bitcoin and Ethereum so I think it will take some time for more investment to come.  However, since it has taken a strong position in the market, I am bullish about it in the long run.  I think the price of the dot can easily cross $100.
282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market sentiments ? on: January 21, 2022, 03:02:02 PM
Things started looking good, giving a bit relief!!
But wait!!! Again sudden dip of  $5000 in a few hours?? How can we explain it: Are bad actors manipulating it or it just the market sentiments towards downward making such huge pricefall?

Market sentiment has been in extreme fear for the last 1 month.  Yesterday's bitcoin market crashed due to some recent events.  Russia's central bank has recommended banning the entire cryptocurrency because it fears a Western blockade would allow resources to be smuggled from Russia to the West, and cryptocurrency is the easiest way to do this.  Also many think that USA central bank will raise interest rates before March.  As a result, many are saving dollars by selling their bitcoins. Also ahead of the Chinese New Year and historically it has been seen that the market is down before the Chinese New Year.

According to Coinmarketcap, $ 148 billion has flown out of the market in the last 24 hours.  It cannot be called market manipulation but I think the bad news has adversely affected the market.  However, the bitcoin market still recovering so fast, despite the lack of traders. But i assume that there may be cash inflow in the market towards March or April this year.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk accidentally created a new cryptocurrency. WTF? on: January 21, 2022, 01:41:42 PM
Bitcoin will remain unchanged. There is no coin equal to it yet. However, it can already be noted that there are a lot of worthy projects that should be paid attention to. I am not trying to devalue the authority or influence of Elon Musk on the minds of the crypto community, but his persistent praise of the initially failed project (I mean chia) tells me a lot.
Elon Musk only likes two coins in cryptocurrencies and his influence is also not big enough although in general it is seen when he says something on his social media accounts, but he only likes Bitcoin and Dogecoin.
Whether it's for investment or other things.

At first, we saw Elon musk criticizing bitcoin mining and carbon footage on it.  He is also promoting dogecoin on the other hand, although all his tweets are metaphorical about crypto.  Elon Musk's tweet has had a significant impact on the crypto market.  There is no point in saying that Elon musk's crypto does not have much influence.  Elon Musk tweeted "nice" after the recent Bitcoin market crash.  Within 24 hours of this tweet, the price of an unknown coin called "nice" increased by 1300%.

Elon musk likes dogecoin but I think he can bring the web3 project to market under his supervision in the future.  He recently tweeted that he doesn't think web3 is true at the moment and he thinks it's just a marketing term.  But he does not know what is going to happen in the future.  Maybe he is sending a message that he can work with web3 in the future.  Maybe it's through dogecoin or making a new coin.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: The Russian economy is on the verge of collapse. What to expect? on: January 21, 2022, 12:31:52 PM

What economic problems do you think real sanctions will lead to if the Kremlin's plans to start a large-scale war come true? How will this affect the crypto market as a whole?

From past experience, we can see that the Western blockade on Russia could have a significant effect.  In 2014, Putin's aggressive plans were thwarted by the blockade.  Through this blockade, Russia is losing $50 billion in economic growth every year.  But in spite of all this, Russia has not given up its aggressive attitude but is increasingly moving towards its neighboring states.  It is clear that Putin has mastered his power and is not worried about aggression in Ukraine.  Putin will at any cost prevent Ukraine from joining NATO, even if it means using military force.  However, Russia has denied the allegations in a statement issued Friday stating "Similar, baseless allegations concerning Russia's intelligence have been made more than once.  Russia's foreign minister has compared the current situation to the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.  On the other hand, according to Western intelligence, Russia's invasion of Ukraine could begin as early as 2022.

Russian crypto ban already impacts the market negatively. But I do not think it could do any damage like the chain did last year.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the NFTs on: January 20, 2022, 08:49:32 PM
As the year 2021 is coming to an end what is the future for the new rave of the moment NFTs which seems to have taken over the cryptocurrency market in 2021 as the new year 2022 is coming and a lot of projects coming up what do we expect to see in the coming year will NFTs continue to drive or a new wave is coming?

Big companies are trying to figure out how to get crypto into their business.  When Crypto created this kind of hype, everyone was competing on how to bring crypto service before others.

On the other hand, many of these gaming companies have started working in NFT.  While NFT is new to many, it has made it easier to prove ownership of digital assets.  Many may think NFT means just some digital photo collection but NFT is more widespread.  In the NFT virtual world, it can also be used to trade land or trade songs.

Many experts think that NFT will be bigger than Bitcoin because it can create many utilities.  For example, tickets for a concert, or a rare item in a game can be owned through NFT.  In general, the use of NFT is widespread.  Many well-known companies including Nike and Unisoft have been working on it recently.  Thus Facebook and Instagram nft announced the buying and selling market.  We are seeing some early use cases of NFT that will take on a larger scale in the future by joining metaverse.  Let's say we're looking at NFT's Tip of an iceberg.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana full of hype? on: January 20, 2022, 08:15:24 PM
Solana blockchain has benefited a lot from the NFT hype.  While many nft holders have been plagued by high Ether blockchain gas fees, Solana Aurory and Degenerate Ape Academy have come up with some incredible projects that have given the digital collector item market a new lease of life.  This one push of the NFT market has taken the market cap of sol to $44 billion.

After a long period of development, Solana has been able to deliver a faster, safer censorship-resistant open blockchain, which has made it suitable for global adoption.  With the ability to handle 50,000 transactions per second, many new Defi, blockchain gaming, web3 projects are choosing Solana as their first choice.  I think the price of Solana could be around ATH this year though if the market goes down again in short term then the price of sol could be around $70.  However, according to the updates that sol will bring according to its future plans, the price of 1 sol may be around $900 by 2025.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: Grayscale Bitcoin Fund Sinks Near 30% Discount on Bitcoin Price. on: January 20, 2022, 04:14:16 PM
I feel like the people who invest in this fund is simply paying a tax for not understanding how to use bitcoin directly.

Imho it makes zero sense for people to be investing in GBTC even at these discounts - I would only hold BTC for the reason of protecting against a fiat/government collapse, which is not going to be the case for a bitcoin fund.

Most people dont even understand what 'cryptocurrency' means to begin with hence people invest in this kind of trust fund. Completely understandable because some people probably doesnt want to go with all the hassle of keeping your own coins safe or whatsoever, the elderly probably wont even understand what a private key means

Elder investors do not feel comfortable with Bitcoin or any other valuable asset keeping in their hands. They want to make a profit by investing that money in the custody of a bank, government, or company. So they like to invest in trust. Also managing and creating these trusts can be done through much less expensive and much less paperwork.  That is why many people like to use it.

GBTC cannot be called ordinary shares because its shareholders receive a portion of a trust, not just the whole.  However, the difference between GBTC and other trusts is that it only holds BTC while other trusts hold different commodities or currencies.  However, no shareholder can claim to be the owner of Bitcoin because no shareholder is holding any Bitcoin.  GBTC shareholders should also keep in mind that the Investment Companies Act of 1940 does not mention any law regarding grantor trusts.  Therefore, GBTC shareholders will not get any legal protection which makes GBTC valuable for its investors.

I am not against any investment in it but I want to say investors should be aware of their fund's security.
288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to find a promising projects? on: January 20, 2022, 02:45:37 PM
hello everyone
my question is how to find a promising project? how to check the project is scam or real? if u have experience  can u share this experience in here
thanks

One thing I can say about cryptocurrency is that the sooner you do, the better.  Private investors benefit the most from new projects in cryptocurrency because they can buy tokens at the lowest prices of all.  But every day hundreds of fake projects are coming into the market which runs away with the money of the investors.  So before investing in a new project, it is important to verify it well.  I will mention some of the points which, if verified, can easily distinguish good projects from scam projects.

1. The most important part of a project is the project team.  The first thing to look for in a new project is who the team members are and their past information such as what they have done, what their success is, whether there are any previous fraud allegations against them.  An experienced team can make a project a success.

2. Is this project solving any current problem?  And what distinguishes this project from other projects.

3. A serious project must inform its community through social media for project development or any change.  Check how active they are through social media.

4. What kind of utility are they offering for their tokens?  And whether the token's utility and circulation supply are up to date.

A promising project must have these qualities.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I Predict $20,000 for dogecoin in 5years time on: January 20, 2022, 01:23:01 PM
dogecoin has an invaluable advantage that other cryptocurrencies do not have. With dogecoin, We get the benefit of fixed inflationary currency which bears the features of current fiat currency.  However, if we look at the graph of people's interest across dogecoin on google, we can see that it is going down compared to last year.

Also looking at the dogecoin transaction graph it is even clearer that what was around 140k in the middle of last year is now down to less than half.

It is clear that the hype about dogecoin is no longer on the market.  It is also rumored that dogecoin will have a deflationary system which I think will ruin its uniqueness.  I don't think there is any possibility of dogecoin becoming $20000 after 5 years.  Before deciding the price of a coin, we should look at the overall issue first.  According to the circulating supply of dogecoin, if its price is 20k, what will be its total market cap?  It's just an unrealistic fantasy.  I think dogecoin could be around $1 by 2025 if they can really do any development work of this meme coin.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022: Bullish or bearish for crypto? on: January 20, 2022, 12:26:56 PM
Ever since the start of January 2022, crypto has been on a bearish trend. There hasn't been any major movement in crypto prices, as the excitement has faded away. It seems to me that the year will be a bearish one (although crypto is widely unpredictable). All eyes are on Bitcoin, as it's the main mover of the market. If Bitcoin goes up, so will Ethereum and other altcoins. Regardless of the price, development is still on-going.

What do you think? Will 2022 be a bearish or bullish year for crypto? Why do you think it'll be that way? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

Inflation will be the main topic of discussion in 2022. Also, the biggest problem due to supply chain management problems can be the wrong monetary policy move which can affect the crypto market as well.  Bank of America says 2022 is going to be bearish, which is the result of "rates shock" in 2020 and "inflation shock" in 2021.  In this context, people can give more importance to the accumulation of capital in 2022, which will prevent new cash money from entering the market. Many experts say the last hope they see is the current billionaire youth whose investment can save the market from collapse.  The world market will also remain unstable in 2022 due to the Russia-Ukraine problem.  Bitcoin may go below 40K or 20k but I don't see any problem. Because Bitcoin must cross 100k, it may not happen this year or in the next two years, but it will happen after the next halving for sure.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2022 be the year of ETH 2.0? on: January 19, 2022, 07:53:19 PM
There are rumors circulating around the web, that the ETH 2.0 upgrade will finalize this year. It would be a major upgrade on the ETH blockchain, after a long period of delays. The competition became much more intense ever since gas fees increased on the ETH blockchain. If the ETH 2.0 upgrade comes into fruition, then ETH's position on the market will solidify like never before. Depending on the impact, competing chains will experience less demand on the market.

Still, I'm having my doubts if ETH will upgrade to PoS this year due to the delay in ETH's difficulty bomb. How long will it take for mining on the ETH blockchain to come to an end is beyond me.

Do you think 2022 will be the year of ETH 2.0? If not, why? What will happen with ETH after the upgrade is successfully implemented? Will it mark the end of alternative smart contract platforms for good? Will ETH gas fees decline massively after the upgrade? Or will everything else remain the same? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

The next two stages of the Ether update (the merge and shard chains) will be completed in 2022 and 2023 respectively.  After these two upgrades, the ether network will be able to transact at 100,000 per second, and it is hoped that this will solve the traffic problem on the Ether network, resulting in a much lower gas fee for the transaction.  Many say the upgrade will bring the Ethereum network's gas charges to zero.  As a result, the value of other projects of smart contracts such as ada, bsc, sol, matic, avax will be greatly reduced.  Defi platforms basically use the Ethereum network as the primary base.  So I think Defi users will be more inclined to use the Ethereum network, which will reduce the competition between Ethereum and other networks.

There is no way we can be so sure this will happen but if everything goes according to plan we can see a similar scenario.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: January 19, 2022, 07:30:46 PM
Hi everyone!

We are all partly investors, we are trying to find the token that will bring us good x2x5x10... We will scatter our several thousand in different places with the hope of a good income. Feel free to manage your deposit, take into account risk management, etc.
But the situation is interesting, imagine that things are going well and at one point your deposit is $ 1,000,000.
What would you do and how would you behave? What altcoins would he invest in? Perhaps you would keep in stable positions while waiting for a great situation to enter the market?
What altcoin / altcoins would you choose and what would you invest your million in? Huh

I think the best option now, given the risk-to-return ratio, is:

$NEAR

$FLOW

$DOT

The entire economic system is under threat due to the Corona epidemic.  If I had 1 million at a time like this, I would prefer to keep some for myself and use the rest of the money to buy valuables like gold and silver.  In such an uncertain economic situation, I think it is foolish to invest so much money in an uncertain place like crypto.  But if the market shows some upward moment then investing in crypto can be done.  Of course, it would make sense to invest 1 million in Bitcoin because there is so much liquidity.  Even if you invest 1 million, it will not have much impact on the market.  But as a long-term investment plan, I would definitely like to have some dot coin, Ether, and chainlink in my portfolio.

One free piece of advice, do not chase for 5X to 10X always book profits and bring your seed money back first then raid the wave with yourr profits if you do not wants to be trapped in a project for so long.
293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 19, 2022, 06:46:42 PM
By itself, bitcoin is unlikely to bring a constant, regular income. Yes, it can grow in price at certain times, but there will also be periods when it will lose in price, which will generate a loss. Bitcoin can generate income if, for example, it is invested or engaged in trading, or transferred to some fund that will perform such functions. By itself, bitcoin will form both periods of growth in value and decline.

What I understand from reading the official post, I think he is talking about a system through which he wants to make income by keeping his bitcoin in his own personal wallet (meaning make an income on his total bitcoin).  In Defi platforms it's possible, and we see that whether we have cryptocurrency, Ether, or any stable coin, we have to deposit them in a third party website.  These third-party websites make money by investing crypto capitals deposited by their customers in various activities and then distributing some of the money among the owners of the currencies.  In this case, all the currencies are owned by their customers but the fund is controlled by a third-party website.  This method is very dangerous.  The way OP wanted to know if the bitcoins in his personal wallet could work on their own?  I don't think it's possible without the help of a third party.  By using a third party, it is possible to increase the amount of bitcoin by using only your own bitcoin or in exchange for a stable coin of equal value.  However, in this case, there is a fear of losing funds.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Ubisoft Becomes First Major Gaming Company to Launch In-Game NFTs on: January 19, 2022, 10:28:52 AM
By combining NFT with gaming, Ubisoft will be able to tailor its content to the needs of more consumers.  Ubisoft's games are already very popular all over the world and streamers play multiplayer of these games.  Now it can attract more gamers by creating nft and rare collectible products.  Now gamers will play games for more time to get these rare items.  But have they decided whether to add a new blockchain to their games or work with another blockchain to add this p2e concept to their games?  I heard that Ubisoft is a founding member of the Blockchain Gaming Alliance.  The company has been trying to bridge the gap between crypto and gaming since 2018.  Is Ubisoft working on p2e as part of this?

But from a couple of years, the performance of Ubisoft is not so good. So I hope this won't be a failed project like some recent one. They should make a survey first to know about their community interest.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Doctors fear health care collapse amid omicron surge on: January 18, 2022, 01:16:23 PM

A greater quantity of COVID driven healthcare demand coupled with higher strain on existing healthcare. Could result in scarcity which will inevitably drive healthcare prices even higher. If the united states thought healthcare was expensive pre COVID crisis. I can't imagine how much worse conditions could potentially deteriorate post COVID crisis.

While certainly the worst case scenario is bad enough. It could also trigger a resurgence of home remedies and snake oil medical treatments. Due to people not being able to afford medical care. Faith healers, alternative health movements and holistic remedies could all make a strong resurgence.

Cryptocurrencies, I think could be developed to improve healthcare in the united states and worldwide. There are many obvious steps to improve healthcare. People taking steps to exercise more and be healthier would go a long way towards making healthcare more affordable for all. As would people refraining from drug and substance abuse. These are not necessarily issues for government to solve. But has more to do with choices made on an individual level.

High numbers of americans drive across the border to mexico every year to receive healthcare treatments at greatly discounted prices. That is probably the best option many have to receive affordable heatlhcare. But surely we can do better than that?

Do Americans use these home remedies and snake oil remedies?  There is no law on these uses in the country?  I used to think that this only happens in developing countries.

How do you associate cryptocurrency with healthcare?  I think it is possible to improve the health care system through the use of blockchain technology.  Blockchain technology can be used to easily exchange information on medical reports and supplies of essential medicines and other supplies.  Education and health care are very expensive in America.  It is very important to solve this problem because it is a basic human need and it should be affordable for all.  Therefore, I think the problem can be solved by making the education and health sector fully government-controlled.

If in a country like America, the state of the health sector suffers as a result of the corona, then the picture of underdeveloped countries can be easily imagined.  We have seen how the health sector collapsed in a country like India and many people died due to a lack of oxygen supply.  I think if we don't develop our health sector globally, new diseases like corona will re-emerge any time.  Therefore, in developed countries, plans need to be adopted on a larger scale.
296  Other / Meta / Do we need a subforum dedicated to DeFi related topics? on: January 18, 2022, 11:49:31 AM
To have a subboard about a topic there needs to be enough interest and topic to discuss on. So I am thinking we should have a subboard dedicated to Defi because of its interest all over crypto space. 1.36 million people have used the Defi service once. This hot cake should not be ignored because of people's interest in it.

By following these criteria I think a child board or subforum about Defi is much more demandable. This topic has been discussed mainly in altcoin talk or bitcoin subforum mostly. Right now I do not have those statistics but I think I have already seen a lot of topics related to Defi directly or indirectly. So a dedicated board for that should not be a problem after all. A total market capitalization of 128 Billion should have enough interest and topic for discussion. What do you think? My proposal is not important enough to discuss? Your valuable opinion and suggestion are appreciable.

298  Economy / Economics / Re: US inflation jumped 7% in December as prices rise at rates unseen in decades on: January 18, 2022, 09:56:46 AM
I've noticed the shift from anger towards government adding to inflation by reckless spending and supply chain issues move to the corporations. As if the corporations are responsible for supply chain issues, that they are merely raising the price for their own corporate greed and not because fiat currency is losing its value. Anything to keep people occupied -- can't hold the government responsible if the people don't know who's to blame for inflation. And with most things, demonize the capitalist system, the private businesses, in order to sell the idea that it is more government that can fix inflation. Meanwhile, they want to spend even more money in fighting Covid as well as a social spending spree to the tune of trillions.

Yes, I saw that on news. The USA is having a supply chain issue and shopping malls are empty. People can't even buy bread, milk, and toilet paper. This happens because Many people store huge amounts of goods for the winter due to the omicron outbreak. Many people blame the federal government and shipping companies for this situation. Nearly 58% of Americans think shipping company is behind this supply shortage and supply chain bottleneck that happens. And I think this is true because many companies and factories shut down or reduce their production because of their workers being sick or locked down in their resident. That's why shipping company cut off their schedule by predicting a drop in demands for raw materials.

Experts believe that this supply chain issue is not going to fix easily. It could take 7 to 9 months for things being normal. As soon as we vaccinated more people situation could improve more quickly because data shows the vaccine is working against new variants of the corona virus.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy Crypto Or Have Fun Staying Poor! on: January 17, 2022, 06:15:26 PM
f you come to crypto just because of quick profits, i think you will always stay being poor because of your mindset. But if you come to invest in crypto because you believe in it and you know there are a lot of opportunities to make profits, then i think crypto will make you progress. But honestly, there is still no guarantee in crypto but as long as you know how to manage your investments and always make it right, and invest on the amount you can afford to lose, then probably you will also grow and make more progress in your life.

You know what most of coming to crypto by saying I am here for the sake of technology but when you lose their initial investment because of being overconfident they leave crypto with depression. Do you know 95% of crypto investors lose money and this number is going higher? Most investors lost their capital because of their over-expectations. If a newcomer came to crypto by seeing 2,50,00000% raise of Shiba inu over the year and expect that from every coin then what would happen? We need a mature mindset and control of our greed.

Let's see some data about new crypto traders.

1. 80% day traders in crypto quite trading after first two years and in three years its touch 87% to 90%.
2. Only 60% of crypto day traders still trade after one month.

That's means most of the traders lose their capital or are in a negative fund even before they understand what actually crypto is.

300  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy Crypto Or Have Fun Staying Poor! on: January 16, 2022, 09:36:51 PM
Agree with OP. Fiat losing value day by day, its not all about US currency, all fiat value goes down. Once we notice increasing price of our daily needs, means fiat value decreasing. And in the current world's economy we can see reflection of daily needs prices. However, investing crypto is the best choose to increase your portfolio if you have patience. You need hold for longer, because always can't make profit from cryptocurrency instantly.

There is no doubt that crypto is the best choice to get rid of inflation but you have to understand it's a very risky place too. 100 new projects coming every day with new promises. Most of them failed and rekt their investors. Last year I almost lost 10k in a few projects and this is the scenario with most of the new investors. From this point of view, other valuable assets like gold and silver are better for someone who does not understand how to utilize cryptocurrency. To earn money from crypto patience is not the only essential element but also you have been smart about your money management and control of your greed.

Holding fiat in Bank wouldn't help us to increase our wealth. But if we could take risks then crypto would change our life once a time. But keep in mind, everyone can't be a gainer from crypto. It's because once you are gaining someone loses on the other hand.
