This commit limited the number of blocks kept in memory to 750:

The bitcoin daemon keep rejecting valid blocks because it has no dependence and the number of blocks kept in memory is over 750.
This is a serious issue with bitcoin the bitcoin dev team should fix it
After I edited the source code a little. bitcoin daemon continued downloading the blocks now. Bitcoin deposit should show up within 1 hour

The bitcoin daemon stuck at block 284500 for hours. Looking into it now.
