The two Premier League title contenders won easily again tonight meaning they are slightly safe as the points are fixed, now waiting for the other challenger, Liverpool tomorrow against Manchester United if I'm not mistaken the last match was won by Manchester United in the FA cup.
I don't know if this will be easier or more difficult for Liverpool to see Manchester United's performance now erratic Erik Ten Hag's squad is still less stable so my prediction is that they will not win even though playing at home they will be locked by Liverpool's increasingly passionate attacks later.
Interestingly, from the bookies' odds market, Manchester United has a number above 4.00 at home while Liverpool is 1.60, if in terms of favorites it is clear Liverpool maybe with these odds it still makes sense to bet.
After Manchester City swept Crystal Palace aside to grab all three points from their encounter today which happens to be the first English Premier League game of the weekend, I thought Arsenal will struggle against Brighton because of the pressure of playing at the home of a team that's been getting good results against Arsenal since they were promoted to the English top flight but that wasn't the case when the game kicked off. Arsenal delivered a flawless performance to comfortably win against Brighton and return back to the top of the submit. Like I said before the Arsenal game, I think we might just finish the weekend with Arsenal topping the league table and that's because Liverpool who's the only team that can overtake Arsenal in the league table will travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United. Manchester United lost to Chelsea on Thursday night and would want to make up for that defeat by making sure they get a good result against Liverpool on Sunday. I don't think Man u will be able to win inform Liverpool,if Mancity cannot win them,who is Man u to flog Liverpool that wants to win the league by all means.Meanwhile,Arsenal's performance today was quite impressive because every time they play Briton,they are always struggling to get result,but today was different,they proved me wrong,they have been keeping clean sheet these days and their solid backline is one of the reasons they might end up lifting the premier league tittle this season.Liverpool knows that United is a threat, therefore,they will put in their armour,and be ready to strike,but a smaller team they didn't. Actually I feel happy because I feel Man City are a bit worse than last year. This is because some core players like Gundogan left. But indeed Foden can replace the sling quite well but not as well as Gundogan. But it is quite difficult to determine who will win. Because these two teams are equally good. It's just that I always remember, Madrid always struggle if they meet a team that is strong in possession.
Gundogan was one of the core players of Manchester City last season and his move to Barcelona certainly surprised many parties, but I think it doesn't leave too big a hole in Manchester City because currently Manchester City have Kovacic and also of course Phil Foden who can play in the same position as Gundogan and we also cannot forget the doku who has been able to perform well, In my opinion, Manchester City's performance is still quite stable at the moment and of course it is still very potential to be able to endanger Madrid in the quarterfinals later. The match between Manchester City and Madrid is certainly a spectacle that we cannot miss, in that match I think both teams will be able to field their best squad except maybe Ederson who is still doubtful to be able to strengthen Manchester City, as well as Courtois who is currently in an injured condition, both teams have lost their main goalkeeper this season but still it will not make the intensity of the game of both teams Downhill, I think Madrid will make the game a revenge from last season defeat, but even so of course Manchester City will try hard to maintain their status as defending champions this season. This is certainly going to be a tough match between both teams.Manchester City remain favourite for that tie,but a person like me knows very well that Madrid will eliminate Mancity from the tournament.Its going to end in favour of Madrid because I don't really think City are on the level they were before,they have lost some of their key players like Mahrez and Gundogan who were very instrumental to their lifting the trophy last season.They are now playing for different teams,and are doing well at the place they are. It's really hard to tell whether one of these teams is more prone to making a mistake than the others. It is not impossible for Liverpool to win every single game. The same counts for City. Maybe the goal difference could become important, but my guess for now is that Liverpool and City will collect more points than Arsenal in the last 9 games. What are your thoughts here?
First of all, I am amused by how bookmakers quote the game City - Aston Villa: 1.26. As you can see, they don't consider it difficult for the City. As for the big picture, the calendar looks equal for everyone, so points advantage (Liverpool, then Arsenal) and the ability to focus on the Premier League without paying attention to the Euro cups (Liverpool) come to the fore. Liverpool looks like the favorite here and the bookmakers are quoting it as such, but in their opinion, City and not Arsenal are in second place. Liverpool have a high chance of winning the league because the opponents they face are teams they can win convincingly.They know they have an advantage now topping the table with two points after Arsenal and Manchester City drew at Etihad stadium. The reds will try to gather much mumentum to win the remaining games to remain ontop of the table where they are.While the gunners and City will also continue to win their games to be able to still keep competing with Liverpool fot the Premiere league tittle. |

Manchester City dominated this match it is true. Manchester City players have 73% ball possession. But they are not able to attack much. Arsenal's defense has been one of the strongest defenses in the Premier League this season. City should have gone all attacking from the first half if they wanted to score against Arsenal. I would say there was something wrong with Guardiola's match tactics. And this is why Manchester City have shared the points in two consecutive important matches.
Haaland didn't get many opportunities in this match, Arsenal's defenders were very disciplined to withstand Man City's attacks, that's why Man City had difficulty creating golden opportunities. It's been a lot of minutes since Manchester United couldn't score a goal. The interesting thing is that Brentford is playing better and attacking more. It's incredible that this match is still 0-0. It should have been over 2.5 goals by now. If Manchester United cannot win this match, they should forget their dream of catching Tottenham. Ten Hag brought Antony into the game to score a goal, the man has no goals this season.

I have said, Manchester City will not depend on one player and their victory or defeat will not depend on one player either.
They have Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku, Kovacic, Nunes as midfielders, while Erling Haaland is also ready for the match. The problems of Manchester United is inconsistency. The inconvenience might be attributed to unavailability of Manchester United players due to prolonged injuries. Erik Ten Hang has never had a handful of players available for him to choose. If defenders are available today, midfielders will not and if midfielders are available, strikers will be lacking. So, I applaud Erik Ten Hang for using an inconsistent team to go this far.
Manchester United might not be able to qualify for the top 4 this season but the management will have to buy new players for the next season in order to fight well.
And despite the inconsistency, he will be taking Manchester United to the another finals in two years, and in his second season, isn't that something great? Erik Ten Hag is not the problem for Manchester United and they have to fix all of these speculating news about Erik Ten Hag leaving next season or been sacked completely. They will do better if they have a well structured squad ready for the next Premier League Competition next season. Jim Radcliffe would allow the sporting directors take them decision and I'm sure they'll be back the dutch manager for success ahead. They have all it takes to qualify for the Champions League Competition next season even if they finish fifth position on the Premier League standing. How can you say the coach has nothing to do with the current situation of the club? Real Madrid have done great things in this tournament in the past, even when they were very bad in the league. Arsenal, when they were very good in the league, are not as good as expected in this tournament. The Champions League has a different ambiance. And I have to say that Arsenal vs Bayern Munich is a match I will never bet on. Maybe I will bet on both teams to score a goal. But I think it is very difficult to know which team will win, and which team will advance to the next round. Every team usually have their peak season and this season is definitely not the one for Manchester City. Even if they eventually win the premiership title this season, there is no basis for comparing the Manchester City of last season to the one we have now. By this time last year, it was pretty obvious how the season will end. But this season, there is no one that can bet who will win the league. I know some betting companies, if not all of them, have odds for the teams regarding who will win the title. The odds for the team at the top is usually high but this year there is a major confusion because three teams are competing tightly and there is no clear direction as at now. The next few matches will somehow give us the direction the league will go.
I still feel that the next few matches will not still ascertain how the league will go and who will eventually be the potential winner of the league title. This is a very tight race and with the view of things, no team will give up so easily, the match winner could possibly be decided on the last day of the premier league game. Manchester City are also confused on which competition to focus on now as all competitions are important to them and would love to win all three as they did last season. With this tight competition, I doubt if they can win even up to two trophies. Football is unpredictable though, but I still doubt if they can win up to two trophies this season. Barcelona have really picked form of recent,and are pushing it hard to remain at the second position they are, although they know it won't be possible to meet up the points Real Madrid have already accumulated this season.They are in the quater finals of the champions league and would want to do everything possible to get to the semi final knowing fully well that the champions league trophy is the only thing they stand to achieve now,as Madrid are already on the verge of claiming the Lalliga Tittle after Barca won it from them last season.

Arsenal headcoach, Mikel Arteta is doing great without limits and he's one of the best coach currently in England this season. I've closely watching how Arsenal improvement this season, really a tough long run and tight spot for the club. This season Arsenal has everything to win trophies, they are in their best form, they are also leading the standings.
