Honestly all of these injuries during the national break gives me a lot of headache. If it was a serious cup game, like even if it was qualifying games then I would sort of understand because it means something for the nation, and all the more important ones are at summer so they are fine, even if injured players do recover during the season itself.

However, middle of the season national friendly game is something I would never understand, not only it means nothing but also it gives people a break from the regular season game for no reason at all, makes no sense. Let them have the league games during these times and then end the season a little early. Even if it happens, it will be a surprising event because the only game for now that I think they can get some points from is their next game against Brentford. If not for that game, I don’t think they will be able to get any more points that will take them to the top 4. It will be super hard. 

Even though they were able to win against Liverpool in the FA Cup, that doesn’t still give them a chance to think they will be able to do that in the Premier League; moreover, it is not over yet; they still have a game with the same Liverpool, and I am sure Liverpool  will wait for them to serve them a good one just to let them know their position in the league. So even though it is not good to downgrade a team, Manchester United is not a team to look down on, but based on consideration, it will be hard for them to make it to the top 4 in the table, but we see how it ends, but I also don’t have any hope for Manchester United.

But I think Arsenal is in the better situation because, in the past five games Arsenal had, they won all the five games while Manchester City had two draws. However, that's not bad for Manchester City but I think Arteta will not lose this chance to increase the gap between themselves and Manchester City in this match.

The problems of Manchester United is inconsistency. The inconvenience might be attributed to unavailability of Manchester United players due to prolonged injuries. Erik Ten Hang has never had a handful of players available for him to choose. If defenders are available today, midfielders will not and if midfielders are available, strikers will be lacking. So, I applaud Erik Ten Hang for using an inconsistent team to go this far.

Manchester United might not be able to qualify for the top 4 this season but the management will have to buy new players for the next season in order to fight well.

Manchester United should abolish any thought of  qualifying for next season champions league. They Haven't really played that well this campaign to deserve a top 4 finish.

Manchester United performance is not really good this season, they have been inconsistent since the beginning of the season which is the reason why they are currently in their current position. Aston villa is currently in 4th position, and Tottenham is in 5th position, how will Manchester United be able to beat this two clubs to take over 4th position? Maybe champions league is not for Manchester United next season, they will have to wait till another season, am not really sure yet maybe Manchester United will be able to end the season in top 5 this season, taking over 5th position from Tottenham won’t really be a easy one for them.

Aston Villah have had a very exciting start to the season and are at the top of the points table. However, their game changed and they were unable to cope with the attacks of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City after that, which is why they currently sit fourth in the Premier League.

I do not like the international breaks too, but they are necessary. The friendly matches are not nonsense matches that have no meaning. You're right that they are no points or trophies for the team, but that's an opportunity for the team to build themselves and get better. Man United are not very lucky when it comes to managers after Alex Ferguson retired. They keep changing them every season or two with no visible effects.
Now the latest rumours are they are considering Gareth Southgate, but Ten Hag is almost guaranteed to keep his job until the end of the season.

The team's performance is definitely far from satisfactory. After finishing 3rd last season, fans were hoping Man Utd would engage in the fight for the title this season, but instead, they're witnessing their team struggling to even break into the top 5.

Indeed. Garnacho becomes an important player for Man United because he often scored goals. Although he doesn't always play as the starter in each match, he still could show his good contribution. Man United won't compete with Aston Villa for the UCL ticket. The point gap is quite far, the point difference is 9 points difference. The best position to get by Man United is in 5th place. I think Man United can finish in the top 5 if they are quite lucky.
