The English League match hasn't started yet, yes I can't wait to see the match again but it looks like the Manchester City vs Arsenal match will always be in the public spotlight because the competition between Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City is getting fiercer and is being talked about a lot by the public because of the small difference in points. Very exciting competition between Arsenal Liverpool and Manchester City.

Yes, it looks like Arsenal Liverpool and Manchester City will be chasing each other in terms of points until the end of the season and it will be difficult for these 3 teams to drop to 4th place because the points difference with Aston Villa is quite large.

I'm believing arsenal to win that match against Manchester city, of course the game will always be at the spotlight because of the current race for the top stop of the league table, I remember something of these nature last season that arsenal played Manchester city and they lost that game, that win against arsenal actually paved the way for Manchester city to take the lead and eventually they won the title, so for this season I don't want history to repeat itself again. The match is going to be a fierce battle between both teams but however I'm hoping come Sunday, that arsenal will go to Etihad and not comeback empty hand.

This is one of the hardest games to predict for everyone because we know both teams are racing at the top of the team and both teams want to get the full three points from this match to increase their chance for the title of the premier league at the end of this season.
But I think Arsenal is in the better situation because, in the past five games Arsenal had, they won all the five games while Manchester City had two draws. However, that's not bad for Manchester City but I think Arteta will not lose this chance to increase the gap between themselves and Manchester City in this match.

It is very difficult for Manchester United to get into the top 4 places. Considering the tough rivals in the Premier League along with the point difference, I think it would be better for the league to fight to get to the European league. They had some good games against the best teams in the league, but considering the poor performance in the UCL this year, it was not the year they wanted at all.

That is not going to happen, at least I have to say I would be shocked if somehow ten Hag manages his team to achieve the top four, but as of now I would rule that possibility out at 99%. I don't know what would have to happen in order for them to climb up the table, but Manchester United is still facing Liverpool and Arsenal and some other pretty good teams. I doubt that now out of a sudden they turn into a top team and win most of their games. Even then it may not be enough as they are 9 points behind. Last season they somehow did it, but not this time.

The problems of Manchester United is inconsistency. The inconvenience might be attributed to unavailability of Manchester United players due to prolonged injuries. Erik Ten Hang has never had a handful of players available for him to choose. If defenders are available today, midfielders will not and if midfielders are available, strikers will be lacking. So, I applaud Erik Ten Hang for using an inconsistent team to go this far.

Manchester United might not be able to qualify for the top 4 this season but the management will have to buy new players for the next season in order to fight well.

Manchester United performance is not really good this season, they have been inconsistent since the beginning of the season which is the reason why they are currently in their current position. Aston villa is currently in 4th position, and Tottenham is in 5th position, how will Manchester United be able to beat this two clubs to take over 4th position? Aston Villah have had a very exciting start to the season and are at the top of the points table. However, their game changed and they were unable to cope with the attacks of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City after that, which is why they currently sit fourth in the Premier League.
However, most of the speculation this season is only about the top three teams with all three teams very much in contention for the title. And Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City are three strong teams and they are very excited to fight for the title. As Arsenal and Manchester City are two teams that have qualified for the Champions League and they will definitely focus a lot on their opponents to win.

But even at the start of the season, Aston Villa did not top the table, although I cannot argue that they were performing very well, and even now they still manage to be in the top 4 on the table, which means that if not for the fact that Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City are stronger teams, they would have been among the favorite clubs in the EPL this season, but it is still not a bad result for Aston Villa to be at the top of the table since they are only behind the strongest team in the league, so I think for them to even manage to be in that position is an achievement for them.

If they actually manage to squeeze out a win in the first match when no one believed them, then they can actually do it again and one thing I know about football is that you can never be too certain to rule out any team and besides they have had their fair share of spoils and also the good times and although it seems impossible but their is small hope that they can replicate same result when they are on their stride.

That's what you're thinking about them, but I don't believe they were able to pull off, because even their first win since it was only by chance, otherwise they couldn't accomplished anything in that first match. But there are some teams that you may have specific rules for, because any team that I have high hopes for, I will impose certain regulations on them because I know what they are capable of.I don't have much optimism for them because they're not struggled to beat their opponents this time. Even club side coaches and fans don’t like the international breaks because of the injury issue it poses on players, a lot of players pick up injuries when they go for international duties and this in turn affects the performance of the team but since players are bound to represent their nations there is nothing that can be done to stop them from going to represent their country.

International friendlies are actually important to prepare the selected players against international competitions that will be coming up and also getting familiar with themselves and understanding one another and the coach’s strategies. Since players are selected from different leagues and different teams it will be difficult to prepare and play together under a short period and understand themselves well enough. International friendlies are more like pre season matches where the coach identifies and select the most in form players that suits his pattern best.

I have come to understand that footballers hardly have free time for themselves, their is no rest at all as there are schedules up and down especially for higher level footballers that will represent both club and country. Only injured players really have time to rest that why during most of these international friendlies key players are likely to be rest or play just a single half so they are not caught up with fatigue. These friendlies are very important and part of a players season and they are probably used to it already, all this is what make them a professional.

Well after the Chelsea takeover we expected something similar to this happening at the club because the club’s hierarchy has been changed totally and so will it affect the club’s identity. You don’t expect the club to still maintain the standard of the former owner. In every business, when a new owner comes in board, he tries to instill his own philosophy and it either makes or mar the business. For Chelsea’s case, the new owner believes in getting young players straight into the main team which isn’t a bad idea.
Yes but I think from that of the old owners, they tried to build up this young players in the club’s academy and they invested majorly there and get the players from there when they are ripe.

 The idea of this current owners is still okay but his kind of idea will take a while for it to yield fruits. You can’t just get young boys and team them all up to play without having a coach with cast experience. Yes the experience of the coach still have a huge role to play in how fast these boys gel together and start playing.They’re young and they need proper coaching for them to attain their potential very fast and quick. A player like Mudryk, yes you can say the lad needs confidence and this is where a coach’s experience comes to play. A good coach will know the best and easiest way to build the lad up.

 Also Chelsea is a bigger team and they wouldn’t need to keep delaying to attain success with an average club because the coach will make them play like an average club and I think that’s how they’re playoffs at the moment. The playing style should be able to fit the players and the squad too needs trimming as there are quite a lot of players playing a particular position. Some should be let out and this will help the club in saving some finances.The board should consider getting a very experienced coach who’ll be able to blend these players and help them achieve success soon rather than this.

Let see together what Chelsea has clearly experienced over the last few seasons, if there is much better development then they can get comfortable and worthy place in one of the top positions in the Premier League standings.
And basically, Chelsea has failed to develop well over the last few seasons and there is not single hope or achievement that Chelsea can rely on, they are currently just big team that is in phase of collapse.
I very sure that if there is no significant improvement and development for next season then they will be much worse than now, maybe Chelsea will only be lower middle class team.

Chelsea owners and coaches have failed to build team well, they have sufficient resources but they cannot utilize them all to build strength like before when Chelsea was one of the strongest team.
If this season Chelsea can change everything by fixing every mistake that has previously occurred, then the hope of becoming strong team could have big chance of being realized, but everything has been proven that Chelsea has indeed failed.
Real key to success in football team is the utilization and performance of the resources provided by the team owner and investors and also the role of the coach with all the existing players.

Man United are not very lucky when it comes to managers after Alex Ferguson retired. They keep changing them every season or two with no visible effects.
Now the latest rumours are they are considering Gareth Southgate, but Ten Hag is almost guaranteed to keep his job until the end of the season.

I realize that the cycle of football is getting faster and faster, and the patience of teams with their coaches is not as much as before. Purification happens faster and requires coaches to show immediate results, instead of building from the ground up gradually as before. Southgate is still in position with the England team, it is very hard for him to move to lead Mu.
 

There's clearly something wrong with United's attack, they've only scored 39 goals this season, which is very low for a club of their calibre (for Comparison, Arsenal has 70).

I think the problem lies mostly in the midfield, not necessarily in the attack. Mu's midfield did not do a good job of connecting the defense and attack. Their midfielders are not in good form, especially Bruno Fernandes.

I don't think anything could save Ten Hag's position unless he manages to please the fans and club owners by winning against Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
