This popcorn needs more butter...  Cheesy

This is OT.

Interesting how you removed my caution to you about hotmail
282  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC 0.545 for €140.92. Skrill/PayPal [ESCROW] on: July 24, 2015, 11:49:32 AM
If Santa_marta uses a hotmail email address, then they both deserve each-other...

I will do this if we use a forum escrow. I can pay the fees. My skrill is in EUR as well.

This popcorn needs more butter...  Cheesy
283  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: morocco.man => SCAMMER on: July 24, 2015, 01:01:14 AM
Transaction (as morocco.man) came from this wallet

https://blockchain.info/address/1JhB1bKwDLuw6F7q8aZ2isPuTV6nYwg9V

which has numerous transactions going back and forth.

Food for thought - PayPal:

We're sorry, but this transaction cannot be disputed because it is not a purchase of goods or services. Please contact the recipient directly.

I guess I was distracted  Angry

Two things I've learnt from this:

  • No more Hotmail email addresses...
  • Lower activity can go first from now on.

I walked straight into this...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1132616.msg11949259#msg11949259

When I got the (hotmail) email address to send the PayPal I sent the funds and the info came back as

Sent to:
   Dabbou Aicha
Email:
   mouad212barcelona@gmail.com

(shame PayPal doesn't offer this up first)

Which on closer inspection is the one and same email and name that morocco.man used in this transaction...

I sent my wallet addy 1D4MzQmugAvub31NJrTun8v1GYGUpSKECh and got this back...

!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!

sorry i copy and past you adress but i dont have copied it right and before i send 0.02 to a friend so i send him again 0.10 im waiting for him to replay me to tell him to send me back 0.10 sorry for that will send it to you when he send me back the 0.10 btc

An hour has gone past and still no deposit into the online wallet, nore my funds refunded, and no answer to my follow up sent a few minutes ago.

The topic has been closed for further comments , but he's still online.

I need some guidance - do I start a charge back on PayPal, wait a little bit longer (in either case risk negative feed back trust from this scammer.

Do I post negative feed back sooner rather than later?

Thanks for reading.

Hi Dabbou Aicha,

Can you verify receipt of the funds have gone through via PayPal?,

No doubt you're just sending the BTC to me now.?

What's the purpose of this besides mine and dump?

I don't have any plans to pump and dump, - I've been promoting the coin via social media.  Still haven't received my coins though...  Undecided
Dear I had told you to update your address in your profile and then you can have manual or auto payout. If you are not receiving emails then they must be going to junk folder, or pm me any Gmail address and I will edit your profile and include that so that you get confirmation emails from the pool.

Unfortunately it's a bit hard to change anything when :

E-mail confirmations are required for editing your details, changing your password, and withdrawals

Email provided works every where else (and no, the emails aren't going into a spam folder...) In any case, am sending you a gmail email addy as requested.

Hello,

when will the email verifications for your pool be re-enabled? I'd like to do a manual withdrawal of my confirmed PAK coins.  Thanks.

Hi
Thanks for the welcome Smiley

The nodes are hard-coded into the software so no need to add node in the wallet conf.
Yes you can suggest such exchange
Pools will be coming soon, stay tuned
Yes that pool is dead

I'll send you the exchange via a DM - the last time I sent the exchange's link, a moderator deleted the message, so better to be safe than sorry.

Hello and Welcome to the Country / Flags group of coins!

Sample pakcoin.conf file
Code:
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=localhost

Do you have any nodes you can list?  I can recommend a Crowd Funded Node service if you like?

PakCoin Pool Launched By Betarigs. (DNS might take a while to show up depending on who your ISP is)

Site: pak.betarigs.com
Fee: 1%
SSO Enabled.
Friendly Support.

Thanks
Ahmed

Are there any other pools?  This one seems to be inactive.

edit: And any plans for an Exchange? I can recommend an Exchange that has a no de-list policy.

Regards,

Hi - I sent a PM a little while ago.
296  Other / Meta / Re: Marketplace trust on: July 11, 2015, 03:59:35 AM
Is there any way to distinguish between positive and neutral feedback/trust for a transaction?

For my one and only transaction I left positive feedback/trust (and they went on to get two scammer negatives for the same post - go figure) but the person I traded with didn't put the BTC value they'd risked sending to me first (or the reference) and I still have three zeros.

Does it show as zero as the other person isnt on my trust list ?

Thanks.
Positive feedback is bold while neutral feedback is italicized, so he sent you positive feedback. It would show as 3 zeros to most people because he is not on default trust, but if you put him on your trust list then your trust score would look higher (for you, not for most other people). As far as I know, risked BTC is not a factor in determining trust score anymore.

Hey thanks for that - you learn something new here every day.
