It is not my intention to taunt when I tell people to put their money where their mouth is by betting 'disagree' on http://betsofbitco.in/item?id=665 I tell them that to hopefully stop (or at least reduce) the length of the debates on the forum.

No, your intention is this:

Quote
Here is the breakdown of the distribution:
45% goes to the bet winners proportional to their bets.
45% goes to the bet winners proportional to their weighted bets.
5% goes to the user who submitted the bet.
5% goes to the site.

don't forget the sig for posterity

285  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Thoughts on Pyramining? on: October 03, 2012, 08:36:51 PM
I've been doing some looking for a place to semi-deepfreeze funds for a period of about a year and have them generate interest instead of sitting in a paperwallet somewhere.

I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are about Pyramining (www.pyramining.com)
Is it considered legit and at least moderately safe?  It sounds like a good plan but has anyone actually verified they have the hardware etc and aren't a ponzi?

Thanks for any info!

My advice is to be patient. Things are happening albeit at a glacial pace. This is the way it goes.

 Grin

Use mtgox with a yubikey for your funds that you'll need to access quickly.

Use an encrypted armory cold wallet for the funds you wish to keep for a long time.

PM with any questions.

295  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario GLBSE on: September 26, 2012, 04:56:26 AM
LG what's the timeline for "almost immediately" I'm just a spectator on this one, but I would like to know. How long did it take nefario to retract his statement? And why is it now deleted?
296  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Spanish Language Course... on: September 26, 2012, 04:46:39 AM
Rosetta stone is a nice source as well. I. Not going to recommend copyright violation, even though it's commonly pirated through thepiratebay.se, so check out rosettastone.com. It's much more immersive than pimsleur. Not for driving time in the car like pimsleur though.

Good luck!

(edit, I blame all typographical errors on iPad)

Atlas FTW, just kidding.

Put me down for gigavps, if he's a willing participant.

If I had the time I would nominate myself, but I already fly enough as it is.
