Philip, if you hold the buy till Wednesday do you think they will drop the price more if next diff stays at 20% projection again? By Wednesday we will have 4 days of block times in this diff. If so, the price should be about 650 factoring another 20% bump up. Maybe bring up the concern with them and see what they say. I think many are staying away due to this and they may be having a hard time moving HW at 875. Just a thought. |

price is 875 and a little to ship I am in New Jersey where are you? FL correct? We are close to at least 10 pieces. I will open for coins on Monday and close on Tuesday try to be ready with coin. crap.. i wont have the coins by monday.. coinbase takes 6 days to many.... That's always been my holdup and the reason I will be out of this buy (i'd like one more). That's ok though. I need to settle in with the few i have for a bit and watch the diff increases do a number on everyone! none of my business, but it looks like coinbase does not bestow a $1000 instant buy account limit anymore. they used to do it for basically anyone. You have to have a credit card on file now in order to receive the $1,000 Instant Buy coinbase is like dealing with a bank. Also ironic that the new price is still 2.4btc just like 1st buy but makes 20% less coin now. I know they sell in USD but funny how that worked out. Based on BTC pricing it should be 1.9btc or better. |

I know it's way to early to call, but the blocks after diff are still rolling along at the same speed, about 6 in 40-45m. That's stays steady and another 20% in 12 days and halfing is now projected in June. Watch out below

Weird, I must be the Lone Samurai.
Some wallets won't spot unconfirmed transactions. With zero confirmations it's not set in stone until the transaction is mined into the block chain, which is what it's currently waiting on. Actually, my home is the same and 90% of my heat comes from 3 x s7's exhausting into the forced air return. Then I also run an avalon6 open flow in the basement. So far this winter 85-90 percent of my heat comes from miners. When it gets really cold I add another Avalon6 to the return vent in my office and furnace has been resting nicely all winter.  |

Edit: there was a brief internet outage but restarting the miners still won't connect to kano.is.
They are connected now.
Same here, I have HW at sidehack also and other places. Only those went offline. When that happens it's certainly an ISP or power issue at sidehack. Back now and look ok. Sidehack got 10 avalon6's yesterday maybe he needed to change some gear around. Maybe, last time he sent an email before and it's kind of late to be in the shop. Who knows, I'll wait to hear from him. |

Posting to get updates, waiting for price
price is yet to be determined. But For me I won't do the deal at 1100. Barring a crazy raise in price over the weekend. If coins are 370 - 420 I am going to want a cheaper price then 1100 I think 850-900 is a fair price given the diff and latest S7 pricing. |

Ya rentals suck right now. Prices have been on the rise for the last week.
They haven't really been all that bad. I rented at .0043-.0045 for a large part of the past few days, sometimes even closer to .0040. Seems like someone comes in once a day and buys up all available power on both sides for 3 or 4 hours and sets their price way above the current top, like in the .0060s. Very irritating. At least prices have come back down once that has run its course. Oh well, last block put me at break-even so now lets hit a few more to make this worth the trouble! Ya. Right now there are a few rather large orders in the queue right now, even 1 infinite. Hope they run out soon. It just makes the little guys work hard to keep a low price average...it gets real tough when the whales jump in with the higher 9999TH and infinity orders priced unnaturally high (even higher than what you can earn). What I don't get is if they can afford to throw around that kind of BTC, why don't they just buy the hardware? I'd like to know where they are pointing 10+PH and making a profit? I've looked at all the major pools and don't see a 10ph jump at the time. Hard to see it on f2 or Ant, but they can't make a profit pointing it there and paying 50-60. I thought maybe Slush and hoping they hit a block after ramp up, but don't see the hash there. very odd |

Kano - just a suggestion for future web page additions. On the rewards page, maybe add a field to indicate that reward has been sent. Maybe mark them green, or a SENT/PAID tag. Would be nice to see when its sent on that page vs. forum updates.
No big deal, just a thought.

I got the notification the package was delivered... just need to get to my mailbox and pick them up  Good everyone has been delivered except for tlhIlwI his is on the truck for delivery. So with luck in a few hours all gear will be delivered and work. I have interest in 4 more units so far. 2 to UK 1 to me 1 to New York I may do a third buy: I need the last one from buy two to arrive today. I will need 10 units min. I need to be paid for the loan on 1 avalon6. I am hopefull to try to organize for the third buy. Maybe this weekend See if they are going to be dropping the price some to compete with batch 10 pricing & the 20% diff increase. I'm willing to wait if it means a few hundred savings. |

Why is it that some blocks we get much smaller rewards? Some examples below. Is it the difference in the transmission fees??

ive wondered this also There's this amazing technology called bitcoin. You should read about it. Apparently it allows an entire economy to be run through a peer 2 peer network making it possible to transmit currency to anywhere in the world for a tiny transaction fee. That transaction fee only ever gets large when there is a lot of money being exchanged on the peer 2 peer network. See how different peoples' understanding of bitcoin would be if they focused on and understood the economy first instead of thinking about it as a way to make money out of thin air through mining? hi guys,
i've opened an account at ckpool and i started minning without entering any payment adress. As a result of this, i missed out about 10 block payments of 0.02btc/block.
Does anyone know if there is a way to reclaim those payments?
Ask me to ... The BTC isn't lost, just gathering in your 'dust' fund. If there's enough I'll consider doing a manual payout ... -- Meanwhile we clearly must be finding too many blocks ... The pool hash rate has steadily dropped over the last 2.5 hours from 19.5PHs to 13.4PHs ... but it is now picking back up. Clearly someone doesn't like getting lots of BTC ... that or there rentals went out and they diddnt know about it People rent 6PHs for a week? With the luck here in the last couple months, its very possible. If they are getting rentals at .0045 and the last week has been over .0052. It's possible.... Anyway, just sent you .05 donation.
