Kano - just a suggestion for future web page additions. On the rewards page, maybe add a field to indicate that reward has been sent. Maybe mark them green, or a SENT/PAID tag. Would be nice to see when its sent on that page vs. forum updates.
No big deal, just a thought.

Ya rentals suck right now. Prices have been on the rise for the last week.
They haven't really been all that bad. I rented at .0043-.0045 for a large part of the past few days, sometimes even closer to .0040. Seems like someone comes in once a day and buys up all available power on both sides for 3 or 4 hours and sets their price way above the current top, like in the .0060s. Very irritating. At least prices have come back down once that has run its course. Oh well, last block put me at break-even so now lets hit a few more to make this worth the trouble! Ya. Right now there are a few rather large orders in the queue right now, even 1 infinite. Hope they run out soon. It just makes the little guys work hard to keep a low price average...it gets real tough when the whales jump in with the higher 9999TH and infinity orders priced unnaturally high (even higher than what you can earn). What I don't get is if they can afford to throw around that kind of BTC, why don't they just buy the hardware?

I've looked at all the major pools and don't see a 10ph jump at the time. Hard to see it on f2 or Ant, but they can't make a profit pointing it there and paying 50-60. I thought maybe Slush and hoping they hit a block after ramp up, but don't see the hash there. very odd

My guess is pointing it at a solo mining point, or some private pool.

+100, on payment Tab. There's a space and column that shows status but there's no indicator of the status = Yes or No, Paid or unpaid, etc.

At the minute I use the ckpool app and leave the notifications of blocks on my phone until I get a corresponding notification of payment. Then delete the matching pair. Oh and happy 500th page. I wish it was a reward for a block though

Is this the last (potential) block Friday before the next (potentially) absurd difficulty increase?

In the past it seems like the Kano Pool starts hitting blocks right away when difficulty increases. Bring it on!

Yep that's a todo item directly related to the dust payments (that I've mentioned a few times ) That's why it says what it says at the top

If it was on another pool, it wouldn't have been a block. yep I think of it like this. you are a gunner on a battleship it has 16ph in bullets firing at a difficult target. As a solo pool miner on ck's pool you are a gunner on a destroyer it has 1ph in bullets firing at a difficult target. You shoot down the target (a block) who is to say you would have done that on the smaller boat. Or as an old friend of mine would say "if" is the biggest word in the english language> "If you grandmother had balls she would be your grandfather" Sounds stupid and silly in that sentence. If you were in ck's solo pool you would have hit for 25 btc. It is just as stupid and silly in that sentence.

It's possible to hit a block mining with just your computer... it's just extremely unlikely to do so Very very unlikely to do so! Anything is possible though... I hit my first block after only 2 weeks of mining with a single SP20 (it wasn't at this pool unfortunately)! Funny thing is, I missed out on seeing the "best share" for that block in the web interface. That morning I was adding 3 new miners and had unplugged/replugged to move it from 120V to a new 240V location. Apparently it happened just seconds prior to when I unplugged it. I was stunned when I checked my email after powering it back up! I'm getting a new miner and will be unplugging/plugging things again today. Can history repeat itself? You can calculate your share difficulty for a block. The block hash tells you what it was. ... and no it's not possible to hit a block mining here with your computer ... I ban CPU miners.

... DE and SG nodes have had a few restarts since the main pool restart. Nodes are stable again but we'll do restarts of everything again tomorrow (in about 8-9 hours) to finish off the node updates. ...
Restart has been made unnecessary - so it wont be happening. Nodes have all been OK since the last update 'last night'.

I suck at that game. Haha. 1hr 15mins before midnight UTC!!! Let's GO BLOCKY!!! We're shooting with all our might at 21PH........... PEW PEW PEW!!!!
