We might need to give the bull 2 years more to really get to that high, I think the best price we can predict for now will be that of the second one you mentioned which is more reasonable studying the patter bitcoin is presently taking, but anything can happen, the year is not too old for those fundamentals we are yet to see come to play.

We just need more time, we need to create more awareness and create more good news that will inspire some investors to put in money, let us hope that the next investor we get will be an institutional investor, because those ones mostly come into the market with very large funds that will create a very big spike.

Of course it is achievable, 3 to 4 months if far more than enough to see such increase to that price, we are already in the bull market which is even at early stage and the remaining part of this year is expected to be bullish as we will see a lot of contributing factors to the growth of the market like BTC and ETH, ETH on its own is performing greatly and will continue to gradually increase in price while BTC bull run also assist in pushing whatever is left of ETH to balance up to that value up.

So, I am very optimistic that ethereum will get to that value and even go above that in 3 to 4 months to come.

I think Some of its major investors sold their altcoins to invest in bitcoin short pump  experienced recently, they were smart enough and it went in their favor as they succeeded in getting huge profit which they sold to get more of these altcoins back.

So, majority of the people that sold their altcoins to go take profit from bitcoin has already bought back and it’s not only ethereum classic that experienced this, other altcoins did too but I am sure it won’t stay long on that price, it will make correction back as some holdlers will sell their holdings off, waiting for another bottom to buy back.

If you put a POLL online now and ask how many people will choose to invest in EOS to Bitcoin in 10 years’ time, I am very sure the ration will be 5%(EOS) to 95%(EOS), do you know how many other projects EOS will have to bit to achieve its goal in which it will even be impossible to beat those projects talk less of replacing Bitcoin, within that 10 years span, there are still many wonderful projects that will have the same product EOS will be offering making people concentrate less in the project but as Bitcoin is number 1 cryptocurrency, people will always like to associate with it first before any other coin can be considered.

Do you agree quite well with me that we ought to have seen $6000, and then every time, BTC climbs up a bit, we see a big decline in its price again and then we have to wait for long again to see another increase, after seeing one, then we get hit again by another decline and we keep revolving in this circle until people will get tired and cash out their investment, is that what you want now.

It is really so unfortunate that there is a high number of gamblers who find it difficult to gamble responsibly and it makes me give a second thought to your idea of having the game legalized. Reading that line, I am sorry to say, at first, say that idea sounded stupid. Like how can they legalize gambling?

I now had the second thought that it is actually a game and just like soccer and other games it can also be made legal and maybe then there will be limit to what everyone can play. There will no longer be story of people who play excessively or out of control. But how did you even think of this ? Gambling is very fun and it is really not necessary that anyone runs at a lost just to play. Like the above poster suggested, once you make plans for the month and you run out of limit before the end of the month, just know it’s the end of gambling for that month. This is a good way to learn self control actually.

Lol. That is very true. I think so many religions are against gambling and many gamblers do not even put religion into consideration when gambling. Having fun is the paramount thing as long as it is not done excessively. Most religions are against clubbing but does that stop people from going to the club or does it mean people who go to club do not belong to a religion? It is not gambling per say that makes a gambler superstitious, its actually tension and the fear of losing lol.

I don’t hold a lot of coins , I just go for coins that are really promising. When I’m investing I don’t miss out on investing my money in Bitcoin, that’s very important and the has started going up already. Someone once said that as the price is going up a bit, FOMO can trigger the bull as a lot of investors will think this is bull and start rushing in and as they are all rushing in the market will start growing bigger.

Still, hodl is a good thing to do, but I hope you do know that there are alt coins that are not really worth being hodl'ed and you can lose money by hodl'ing them. So if you have any alt coins, I will advise you to take your time and do some research on them and go through market analysis about them to know which ones are worth investing or not, so that you don’t make mistake .

Uuhm, maybe you’re right about what you’re saying. But, it seems like the interest in crypto currency is growing ,cause I saw an article that claimed that the search for crypto on Google has tripled since April 2 that the price started going up. But one thing I have noticed is that people only develop interest crypto when the price is going up and after that, they all lose interest.

There price has been moving and I think that is a sign that we are going for quite strong bull run soon. There was a slight backward movement day before yesterday, but things has gotten back to going up. There was no news about the price going up, took everyone by surprise ,though I saw an analysis on cointelegraph that says that there was going to be a short bull ,but the way I’m seeing this, it is not going to be a short one.

Pray for Satoshi Nakamoto, there is nothing he can do again as regards the price value, he has already created the system and the system is already working, it is left for the users to control which direction he goes, there is no amount of money he can even pump in to create any pump that will make it reach all time high, the system is now independence and except he comes up with another idea again.

I am glad that you belong to the group of people that see the light in the present market we are, unlike those who have failed to at least appreciate the market and the effort of those who has contributed to its gradual growth in price. They have just been spoiled with the bull run of last year that we longer want to face reality again.

The market is good enough now and already setting us gradually on the part of the major bull run, there is a time for everything, there will be a time for every increase we desire to see in bitcoin and all it requires is long patience, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years and more. Patience is the key.

Provided it’s a good profit, this will still be the best time to purchase, now that it has gone back to bear market because it will still surely be affect by BTC bull run when the time comes, so it is still an opportunity for people like us to purchase it so we can in future also reap our own profit, just like the last or existing investors did.

I really don’t see much relationship between the 2, of what value has litecoin added to bitcoin? How does the action of Litecoin affect the one of BTC, we all understand how that of BTC operates and affects other coins available in the market which Litecoin is even inclusive.

I wonder why many loyalist of a particular coin will just be seeing wrong visions just because they are not part of the Happy BTC family. I don’t think it has ever been in the history where any altcoins really pump the value of Bitcoin, yes, I agree they can add to its increase during exchanges and trading but not to the extent of pumping it to really conclude that a coin assisted it.

Finally we can call an increase a "bull" because for the past 4 or 5 months people have been calling just 200-300 dollar increases "bull run" but they were incredibly wrong since the price went down so it was just price going up and down, however this time we have managed to break the price barrier and eventually went above 4200 and I knew that if we broke that number we wouldn't just go a bit up but a lot higher and now we are around at 5k finally.

It has been there for a while too and its not going down so we can say that this was not just a temporary thing but a real bull run and we are finally here. Hopefully we can go even higher because honestly it is not really nice feeling to keep going down and down and staying there, we are at a stage where we really needed an increase.

The best thing a wise investor would ever do in a bear market is to keep accumulating more to the fullest of his capacity, bear markets are always a form of blessing in disguise, I don’t think there is anyone that has ever invested in bear market that regrets it.

I mean those that invested in very good projects and not shitcoins, most bear market investors end up becoming rich when the bull comes but the key to these investment are some of the things the OP listed, knowledge is power, especially when dealing with ICOs to put it money into, we have to have good knowledge about their product and team so we don’t get to waste our time on projects that are not worth it.

It seems that we have already moved out of bearish markets still this must be the right time to accumulate as much as we are able to, but within affordable limits. Instead of these, I do see many people have started to profit booking as they are already into profit zones as bitcoin has showed more than $1k price movements. These people will cry when they do see bitcoins will be testing $10k levels by next month .

The best altcoins would have been the ones that are on the top 20 of coinmarket because it is every obvious that those ones will perform well and give great profit in future, but too bad now, most of them are following the rise in price of BTC already, and it is best to look at those ones with top 50 and do your strict research on them before making any investment.

If you base your selection on what people would suggest in this forum, you might be making the wrong decision because everyone will like to pump whatever coin he or she is holding, so you will get lost of suggestions based on sentiments.

We can see that bitcoin is a blessing and will always be a blessing, when it is in bear market, it gives opportunity to those who wishes to buy at dip against future, when it goes on bull run, it rewards those that have been patient with it when the going was rough(Bear Market).

When it goes sideways, it multiplies the altcoins of those who found it quite difficult to afford it but could afford other less expensive ones(altcoins), this sideways which is call the period of consolidation is what I have been waiting for all my life, which virtually all active altcoins will continue to shoot to the moon in price, just the way it did in the last bull market, I can’t wait for that moment to come.

That’s right, I believe that many people will start seeing clearly now that the market condition was not as a result of whales pump but a natural increase from a genuine investors.

So, we are finally out of the bear market now completely and may be heading towards half price of the ATH on or before December which I believe should be around $12,000 and I believe for now, many investors are not interested in dumping, so the already existing one will continue to wait till ATH, while new ones will continue to invest out of FOMO which automatically shows that there will always be a flow of gradual increase in price of BTC.

What type of trading where you on as at the time the Bitcoin pumped? Because if you are a short term trader, I see no reason why you should loose. For me, I didn’t take the profit too when it pumped and I don’t regret it because I am sure, it will come back to whatever prices I didn’t get to catch, and I believe that whatever it is that you have done that made you term your trading as loss when the price of BTC pumped, it is still not too late for you to make corrections to it because we still have a very long way to go in this bull run that we have just set in till we see the very best price of the coin.
