So, your advanced level mathematics led you to the conclusion that I am making .8 BTC per Ghash.
My low, low level, redneck, grew up in the country shooting guns and riding dirtbikes math got me to .9 BTC per Ghash.
I guess my education isn't that bad after all.
Here is a post I found: Does anyone have a good approximation for a MH/s to shares conversion? Say I have 10 GH/s.....how many shares would that produce in 1 hour?
one diff 1 share ~= 2^32 hashes. 1 GH/s * 60 * 60 = 3.6E+12 hashes per hour. So 3.6E12 / 2^32 = ~838 shares (diff 1) per hour per GH/s 10 GH/s would be 10x that or ~8380 shares per hour. So, about 838 shares an hour Per GH/s. You have 25GH/s so that's approx. 20950 shares an hour (838*25). 20950*0.00004PPS=0.838BTC an Hour. That's if your PPS is 0.00004/share on GPUMax of course. So you should make 0.838*24 a day, aka 20.112BTC. Sweet! That is cool!!! Thanks  |

At stock clocks, 10.5 Gh/s. Overclocked, sure, many people do 770 Mh/s per card, so 11.6 Gh/s. 2 non-overclocked GPUs (but mem downclocked), on a super-lean config draws only 670W (730W at the wall), so a 700W PSU would be sufficient. If you overclock, prefer at least a 900W PSU. Personally I run 3 cards with downclocked memory on a 1200W PSU (1110W at the wall). Windows or Linux? I am not sure 3 dual GPU cards can run on Windows. My problem is the mobos I have do not like BAMT. I have 950w PC Power and Cooling PSUs. Should handle those good. I have put in an order with my other loan shark. He usually does not get back to me for 24 hours. I will let you know if he says yes!!! I am NOT asking you to hold anything for me, so sell away if anyone wants to buy. Thanks. |

Both are a pretty safe bet.
7970 has re-sale value. Single will be harder to sell if BTC fails.
