The asset gained NAV again. Now at 5.6 NAV and more assets for free to come. Amazing, you can literally buy the inventary at a 15-17% discount and still have the value from the free future assets!

Which is the ID of the official jl777hodl?

And can someone provide a desctiption how this works and why I should purchase this asset? What gives it value?

NXT-2AHU-UXZW-K9Q2-HENLW is the jl777hodl account where the value is derived from

283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NODE - 2n Gen. CryptoCurrency build from SCRATCH on NODE.JS - Brand NEW! on: September 20, 2014, 05:52:26 PM

Oh boy, Visual111 sure did hit the nail on the head! You two should be cryptocurrency consultants or something.

Transparency is definitely lacking! For goodness sake, the Node devs haven't posted an update on this thread in 5 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!

And where is the whitepaper and roadmap? Oh wait...

TLDR version:

You are an imbecile.

that's fine if you don't understand what i'm saying, but there is no need to call names

i'm just pointing out where I think this coin is going wrong based on my experience with coins that are doing very well. coins that do well have certain traits, community being most important. look at the last 20 pages of this thread to get a sense of this community, particularly the last 3. whenever someone points out a weakness, people come out and vehemently defend the devs, calling people like me trolls/fuders. it's like a cult blindly following a leader. developers need to be hit hard with questions and they need to answer them, simple as that. otherwise the big money will lose interest in the coin and it will just fade away like so many other coins

so go ahead..keep destroying the coin by attacking questioners. maybe that is the goal?
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Crowdsale has begun[Updates & Discussion] on: September 20, 2014, 02:00:38 PM
I'm having a problem running the webstart version of 0.2.18. Whenever I try to run nem-monitor.jnlp, the software tells me that it recommends i get latest version of java, which I have. then I get an application error "Unable to launch application"

Next I tried standalone. when I run runNis.bat and runNcc.bat, a java windows pop up, closes out, and nothing happens

Do you have java 8 installed?

installed java 8, works fine now. I thought if i had the latest version of java i would be good to go. thank you

Whitepaper is extremely vague and English is horrible.

Lol.. english is horrible and estonian? is also horrible? What did you expect? A technical explanation from a dev point of view?
It was supposed to be this way. It's for normal users. Not for an expert like you who can see the matrix.

A whitepaper is typically a "a technical explanation from a dev point of view". This "whitepaper" is a high-level abstract at best.

Hi Jaguar,

Please direct me to a cryptocurrency which, in your opinion, has published a proper whitepaper.

http://www.nxtcommunity.org/nxt-whitepaper

Node paper is lacking technical content. if i can understand it, then it is a weak paper

Yea, the NXT whitepaper is a good example.
i just think ALL NEM devs hate NODE  Roll Eyes

some of you don't seem to understand the grave you're digging by blindly fervently a coin that is still technically weak. you are building up a hype where there shouldn't be any. when people see this thread, they get excited and want to invest right away! little do they know that this coin shouldn't have even been launched (in my opinion). once they figure this out, they dump and stay away permanently.

then there are threads that I follow like BTCD/NEM/BBR where technical discussions are often taking place. these are the coins with the greatest potential because the community questions the developers and this provides a transparency to what the devs are doing. Here, this is the total opposite. Devs are quiet and hard to understand. 70% of posts are "to the moon" type.

if this coin falls, it is because of the weak community that calls FUD/troll when people ask questions about the project. this cannot continue to happen if node is going to succeed.

i hope the community understands what i am saying

The NODE whitepaper was very transparent and concise vs the NXT paper, even though it was technical - they failed to comment on the unfair distribution! ! NXT is an elaborate ponzi scam. Sorry to hurt your feelings. Smiley

what does unfair distribution mean to you?

NXT distributed the same way NODE did

James, get back to coding please. You're not making any sense with the uninformed anti-US rants   Grin

jl777 anti-US rants make sense to me

Only the intellectual people can see what's going on inside the USA. Most are much too busy, misinformed, or don't care.

Always need to distinguish between American people, who for the most part are nice people, and American global influence, which for the most part is very damaging now, and will only get worse. I'm far more scared of USA than China or Russia. Most Americans are unaware of how the world sees them, and get a rude shock when they travel to other countries and see how the rest of 'US' see them. A bit like that movie, 'the truman show', when the main character realises his whole life is totally fabricated ... 'the american dream'.

a friend of mine tells people he is from canada when he travels...doesn't want people to know he is american

you know this country is screwed when the NFL domestic dispute garbage is the front page story. football player beats his wife. meanwhile, the government directs an army that kills hundreds of thousands of "terrorists" each year. now I'm on the NSA watch list

Eta is = as soon as we finish buying from dumpers, weak hands, scared people, hacker and as long as we have a party buying under 100 satoshi Smiley
I dont understand this. Devs already have 400,000,000 Nodes. They want more?

Where did you get that we have 400 million?
you read about the funds and to top it off they will be used

if you are in contact with koopa, it would be nice if he/she could post. no offense, but you are very difficult to understand and I don't think you are interpreting our concerns very accurately

Has anyone here forged any coins yet (besides the developers)?

do you, or anyone else, have the address to where forged coins are going?

Do people even have the slightest idea what nodebank is or how it is going to work? Have the devs ever provided any information about this?  ANY?

you're not suppose to question things in this thread, you will be labeled a troll or FUDer

295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 16, 2014, 02:24:13 AM
Right now, Chris has leveraged off the supernet brand to promote his websites. Now I cannot see anything substantial apart from sites anyone could make given enough talent and a few hundred dollars.

Instead of building the user base for the current asset, he creates a new one to get more money.

How would supernet get a return for the money it has helped generate for Chris (which he could not raise in a failed ipo before) and how would the people that purchased assets at inflated prices make their money back.

I'm saying this not out of hate or anything like that, but if this venture by Chris turns sour it would help to tarnish the supernet brand which is what I care about.

Concern troll detected... It only takes to 2 seconds to find the keywords.

people have such a loose concept of words like "troll" and "fud"; they have become meaningless

it's good to see people making critical posts. if nobody posted their concerns with projects here, this place would deteriorate into scam city quickly. developers need to be put on the spot more
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NODE - 2n Gen. on: September 15, 2014, 04:23:53 PM
Skillroad developer sent messages asking to sell 100+ million NODE for cheap.   Shocked

it was reportedly a hack
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NODE - 2n Gen. on: September 15, 2014, 04:18:42 PM
the coin has been on the market for 2 days. can people stop discussing price now? i don't understand why people expected it to open at 1k satoshis. it just wasn't going to happen. sell your coins if you're concerned with the price, because it might take time before node catches traction. there are still some pretty basic issues with the wallet and the lack of a white paper doesn't help. be patient or sell

BTW - visual111 - take note of your own sage wisdom [from yesterday none the less!] Smiley
yes, I am expressing FUD. when the developers drag out deadlines, ignore questions about forging, and fall for a phishing link, that is the time for FUD

At least you got that part right.

So I guess not publishing the whitepaper and falling for a phishing link is sufficient to negate over 6 months of development and the little fact that the coin they created is now live and trading on BTER?

If your answer is yes then please sell your coins immediately!

I have only been following this coin since mid august, I am ignorant to most of what happened before that. most of my presence in this thread has been in the past 2 weeks, so when this is coming from the devs in my short time here obviously it is alarming

this is not an issue of price. this is an issue of developer competency. it's shocking that people aren't asking more question and continue to post "to da moon". yes, I am expressing FUD. when the developers drag out deadlines, ignore questions about forging, and fall for a phishing link, that is the time for FUD. maybe people don't understand what FUD means? they just see it in threads and assume it's only a bad thing. it is not; this is a time for Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.

I am being a bit hard on the devs, but if nobody else is then we won't see a whitepaper until November.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: September 15, 2014, 03:44:49 PM

It's still possible of course that we're dealing with some sort of ultra-intelligent sociopath who's planning on pulling a Gox level scam down the road and this is just him laying the ground work. The thing about that is we would never be able to tell the difference anyway at this point and you could say the same about anyone who appears to be honestly running any large project. I doubt that is the case though personally.

Based on jl777's posts, I think jl777's motivations are primarily ideological, not financial

note: I am invested in jl777 projects

People should be shamed to try to make a benefit from this situation by speading FUD and lies!

100% support to devs. But yes, answer the questions about forging rewards and release the whitepaper soon.

Thank you for understanding
The fact that we describe all of the integration process BTC, USD, EUR.

Node, NodeBank, NodePay

it is a lot of information

+1

high kick to dumpers and fuders

more hot air from devs
