202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET asset 12071612744977229797, trading symbol UNITY on: October 26, 2014, 03:08:49 PM
Price itīs still going down, this is dead. Thanks, another shit scam ico coin where i lose money.

The only thing which is dead are your thoughts. You didn't invested, you just wanted a quick buck for nothing. UNITY isn't a quick p&d scam coin like 98% is...it is a long term stock. You only need to invest in this if you have faith in it for the upcoming future of crypto.

You just wanted to earn some money and don't give a damn about the whole SuperNET. In that case you invested wrong.

long term 'stock'. thats funny. no revenues etc and a market cap of "3 million."

what goes up must come down.

Go up and come down? You realize that the asset is backed by all the money and other assets put in to it right? This isn't some random altcoin making a bunch of promises. It's an decentralised organization with transparent finances.

There are already multiple revenue generating projects started anyway, both in media and the gaming sector. That's in addition to the fees and such that will be gained from users of superNET.

sure man. there are no revenues to support a multi-million dollar market cap. the price is doing what it should be now....it's shrinking.... altcoin users hate expensive 'fees' so its doubtful there will be any significant revenue coming any time soon.

what are the expensive fees?
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In your opinion what are the most fair coins. on: October 26, 2014, 02:00:03 PM
what is a 'fair' coin?
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Qora | Released 16 May | 100% POS | New Source on: October 26, 2014, 12:43:12 AM
The more I read here all the unsatisfied people the more I love Qora and its dev!
It's cool from the dev to stay quiet and to work at this coin.
We need a GOOD COIN and we need time for it to be finished in the best way - OS or not!! We don't need a coin what will have soon a big value and then goes down and nobody will speak about it in one year - like so many other coins!

I'm not sure you get it. This coin is beyond recoverable. If the developer cam out as Satoshi himself I think its price wouldn't increase. Its done the community is too stubborn to see it yet.

damn, i'm selling
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: October 25, 2014, 12:40:04 AM
The guys at the wallstreet journal write their new article with a bit of pessimistic flair using terms like "it falls short" and "Medici's limits" etc..
Ok so there will be a clearinghouse but so what, this will be a great step to creating a more peer to peer world and I'm sure the crypto community is willing to accept a few bumps in the road and sacrifices to make the necessary headway in this world that is still dominated by central powers.

http://blogs.wsj.com/moneybeat/2014/10/24/bitbeat-the-promise-and-limits-of-overstocks-crypto-stock-exchange/?utm_content=buffer94df6&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

what is the issue with a "clearing house"? or, what is a clearing house?
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Teleport/Telepathy Privacy Tech--SuperNET Core Coin on: October 25, 2014, 12:36:36 AM
James any thoughts on side chains and its effect on supernet, Nxt, btcd? Do you see it in competition with or change anything your doing?

who is at the forefront of building "side chains"? or, where is a good source to learn more?
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] The internet of blockchains / XBridge / true cross-chain P2P on: October 25, 2014, 12:31:39 AM
Can I clarify what I think is a fundamental difference from SuperNET?
BlockNET is collecting money through the ITO for development. SuperNET ICO funds will be used to purchase shares in coins and revenue-generating assets. (It is also entering into revenue-share agreements, of course, without taking an equity stake.) BlockNET is presumably relying on revenue sharing with its partners?
If that's the case, then there is an obvious distinction in the type of organisations they are, reflected in the NAV, risk, reward and approach to growth of each (and consequently appealing to different demographics).
Is this correct?

i'd be interested in hearing thoughts on this..

this explains the recent drop, it is just one big whale that has decided to sell.

"In crypto, the competition is not each other, it is fiat."

+1

you all are doing more harm than good arguing amongst yourselves. crypto doesn't have to be a zero sum game. if qora succeeds then NEM or whatever other coin is that much more likely to succeed

i have volunteered to help with testing for this project. looking forward to how atomic turns out!
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ATOMIC: in SuperNET CORE - single blockchain for trading all coins&assets on: October 21, 2014, 01:20:22 AM
Nope we can actually make money for BTER Smiley If you haven't had a chance you should check out the documentation at http://atomicdac.org/. It would be very good to have non techies on the team for testing purposes. What operating system(s) do you have access to if you don't mind me asking? You can send me an email from the contact area as well if you would rather talk to me over email!

i read half of it but i'll have to reread it again now that i understand the asset much better

What if clone thing replaces supernet?  Shocked

Which is the clone?

What is everyone talking about, that supposed to kill SuperNET? Could someone please provide a link?

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/xcurrency-introduces-internet-blockchains-blocknet/

And it's not a clone. Can't clone a unfinished product.

ofc you can.

Doesn't matter. SuperNET will launch a few weeks after BlockNET's ITO has finished.

is there an approximate date (month?) that you know of? before 2015?
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET asset 12071612744977229797, trading symbol UNITY on: October 18, 2014, 01:40:06 PM
is there any sane reason why the supernet price dropped suddenly ?
Because of what XC is doing ?

people might be selling unity to sell their NXT. you can still sell at a profit from ICO if you got in early enough

i think it's because supernet hasn't released anything yet (that the average person can use) and the quick buck investors are bored with it
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET asset 12071612744977229797, trading symbol UNITY on: October 18, 2014, 03:39:06 AM
we'll just have to watch what happens with supernet and blocknet. until one produces something the average crypto user can use then it is all speculation

supernet does has some code that a literate person can look at though, which is nice if you can read it (i can't)

are people currently able to compile the available jl777 code and get a glimpse of what is being created? i would be interested to know if this is the case

for those who might be interested...

Supernet API thread on supernet forum
https://forum.thesupernet.org/index.php?topic=154.75

user Cassius is documenting API progress here https://forum.thesupernet.org/index.php?board=41.0
appears to be a fresh board

i never noticed this thread was in the market place. why is that?
