281  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 18, 2016, 11:16:38 AM
If somebody gave me 10 Bitcoins for free I would just sell them all so I would have some money. Free Bitcoins are the same as free money you can just sell them. So I would be happy if I got them.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we trade Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: March 31, 2016, 12:32:01 PM
If the internet goes down, Bitcoin is rendered useless, you pretty much can't do anything. But I doubt that the internet will ever go down, as in like fully shutdown across the whole world.

Yeah if the internet goes down many companies not only Bitcoin would go down with it. The internet has become so important in today's world.
Almost nobody can live without it, at least I can't.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 24, 2016, 04:33:00 PM
Gambling is not wrong. The decision that you make to play can be wrong. Gambling is made for fun and that is good.
But if you lose a lot of money with gambling, than it is your own fault, you have to control yourself.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you have the courage to do this? on: March 10, 2016, 10:47:56 PM
No I would never do this, there are just too many things that can go wrong.
You are gambling on one number the win rating is just too small in my eyes.
285  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Predictions on: February 18, 2016, 04:31:54 PM
I see more like high $500ish close to 6 if anything.

I dont know about $700, unless something insightful arrises that makes it spike. But I see more of a solid mid $550 range within this year holding like how we did with last year price hovering $300ish then a solid climb.
I hope that Bitcoin will have a good price in 2016. But it is hard to predict Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a currency and that is difficult to predict the price for the future.
286  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: February 08, 2016, 12:30:47 PM
Now good time for buying, but this period will be a for long time, that is the question.

Its a nice moment to buy bitcoins now, I do not think it will stay long on this price.
The halving is also coming and it will go fast by than.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 08, 2016, 11:12:33 AM
because it's entertaining and makes making profit look easy "it is not actually easy at all, even professional gamblers rarely make big profit"
gambling is entertaining, the fun is only temporary and protracted grief
yes this is just entertainment. I entrust my money just to have fun. if you win I'm happy and if I lose I will repeat again.  Grin

Indeed. People see gambling as a kind of game. And they also think that you can earn money.
But that's often not the case, they lose more money than they win.
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: January 21, 2016, 12:38:09 PM
I think you should be good with 100 btc. This mostly depends on what bitcoin will be worth in 20 years.
I think around 100 is good enough anyway.

yeah 100 btc should suffice if you aim at 1M to retire, the best compromise is having 100 btc at 10k each, because 10k is still feasible in medium not too long terms

any other amount is either too costly or too cheap

The question is if it will ever is going to happen at 10.000 dollars in 20 years is just so difficult to reach that huge amount of money.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: January 08, 2016, 01:37:19 PM
For me future about bitcoin is that with bitcoin I can hold it and wait for the increase maybe when I retire bitcoin will be worth 5000 dollars and that will be a good thing to happen when I am old.
