There are many reason why bitcoin is growing more then paypal. Innovation in usage and price are the main ones. Bitcoin already surpassed Paypal in revenue which means people are finally understanding that.
Do you mean the transactions in the exchange? Most Chinese exchanges are just fake volumes. They do not count. |

2016 was a boring year for Bitcoin but that was because of the price being stable. With the price being stable and you are waiting for the price to go up you have to wait even longer then usual. The year is not over so maybe something is still going to happen.
Boring year for bitcoin is good. We do not like the big dramars for the bitcoin. We want mass adoption. |

The dumping may start probably after the DAO ICO..But I dont think it will bring down the price of ETH to 1$

The halvening is getting close but no action is being seen in the bitcoin, I have forgot about $700 and placed my take profits in $500~$525.
We will see this price in next month and I don't think we need to wait to see this price till the halving occurs and now we are very close to see this price in coming weeks. With the current trading pattern, we will not see the $500 price in the next month, probably in July. If all I think it can be achieved in july, while being realistic means also that it may happen this year or later. The only thing that is stopping the price is the 500 barrier which seems impossible to breach time after time. Thing is that if it takes too long, investors/ people will lose hope and start selling again.. I think the price could be $500 in July or August. Then it will rise to higher values when more people use it. |

ETH price is skyrocketing again, damn it I missed the train, it seems like this was overhyped because of the DAO release, I think it will be back to its normal price after this month. Just my guessing, good for those guys who profited on the trading.
I bought some Ethereum at a price of 0.03. If the bitcoin block size does not increase, the price will rise again. If the bitcon block size is kept at 1MB for long time, people cannot do transaction there easily, they will choose Ethereum. That is a good opportunity for Etheruem to take over bitcoin. I hope the bitcoin block size to increase soon. hmno, nonononono HF. sorry. status quo in bitcoin is something eth supadupa agile bullshit cannot compete with. but still, seems people buy eth but cant even buy meth with it.. :/ The Bitcoin core team is not competent at the development in terms of the SegWit and the block size increase. |

There will be a lot of stuff that will happen to bitcoin this year so its not so boring after all especially come halving. its the result of halving that's scary though.
because of all the great projects coming out these days, I don't see how bitcoin could prosper still. but then we'll see.
Yes and I think this will be the best year for bitcoin in compare to the past, not only because of halving but also we will see many new companies joining the world of bitcoin. The only big profile company accepting the bitcoin is Steam. The SegWit was supposed to be implemented in April, but we have not seen it. |

The paypal payment confirmation is instant. The Bitcoin is not instant. With small block size, sometimes you need to wait for hours.

53 days, but Ethereum will implode on May 28th when Eth owners are finally able to dump the DAO. I sold what little ETH I could sell when it was above $13 because I feared something like that. That could be a good sale. I sold most of my Ethereum when the price was $1.4, I thought the price would drop. |

Can't believe it's still being manipulated this high and highly...but such is crypto when whales wish to have something happen. DAO will prob make ETH dump tho...how mcuh we'll see. I don't think you'll see back to 350-650k range lol  If this DAO fails, then the Ethereum price could be dumped to very low levels. But we will not know the results in several years. Is it possible to have several independent DAO on the Etheruem network? So they can compete with each other. |

There is time where price of ethereum going down and if it happen that is time for buy ethereum and hold. Don't missed for second time again.
I am doing some range trading at the moment. If it drops below 0.019, I will buy, if it is higher than 0.023, I will sell. That is what i mean, so there are not missed train. Because price of ethereum is fluctuating. Once the DAO is over, I think the price will go down. Now will be a good time to do margin trading. Do you mean borrow the Etheruem and sell short? The DAO can absorb 15 million Etheruem, it is better not to short. |

The year 2016 will be the best year for bitcoin and it will show us some best price which we have never seen in the past, so expect something best from this year.
Stop with dreaming... There won't be a new ATH this year. Is it really that difficult to look at the market with a realistic mindset? why do you think a new ATH this year is unrealistic mindset? it is speculation but there are pointers that show the possibility of another big rise which can surpass the last time highest price. A new all time high is possible this year. The bitcoin halving, block size increase, SegWit can help that. |

$500 is a good start for the next price rise. If we go to $500 slowly, say in two months, then the year end price could be high.

The Ethereum price has risen to 1 month high, similar price to two weeks ago. But it is not rising at the moment.
It can't exponentially rise forever. That's a bubble. ETH is a market. So expect ups and downs FFS. The price is hovering around the 0.024 now. If it drops below 0.02, I might buy some to buy into DAO. Well you've got less than 24 hours until the first DAO price hike so you may miss out. Does it mean few people will buy after the price hike? That could reduce the attractiveness of the Eth. |

As long as the bitcoin is developed properly, the price will go high and more people will use it in real life.

As you can see now you see also that there are now more people that is going to have some profit and that is perfect for them because they already waited a long time for it.
It will at least reach the $500 in the end of the year and that would be nice.

The hope is that as a result of the halving we go higher than 500 USD. I'd probably be disappointed if we didn't break 600 USD.
Yeah I agree but I think that it is not going to hit $600 because it is possible that the halving is coming in and change up the price of the Bitcoin. In the last halving in late 2012, the price did not rise much immediately after halving. The price rise came more than 10 months later. That was the huge bubble. That bubble caused three years of bear market. I hope it does not happen this time. |
