I hope this time someone can help me how to switch stratum config into SSL config on claymore. I'm tried to change the stratum pool to ssl:// then change the port to 5555 but it doesn't work.
Apparently, now the SSL server is only available for ETC. It is easy to check by running the miner with an indication of the server -epool ssl://eu1-etc.ethermine.org:5555 - an encrypted connection will be established. Why can I connect on SSL with Phoenix when mining ETH but when using claymore it doesn't work? For ETH pool using US server setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555 -ewal YOUWALLET.WORKER -epsw x -mode 1 For ETC pool using US server setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool ssl://us1-etc.ethermine.org:5555 -ewal YOUWALLET.WORKER -epsw x -mode 1 This config doesn't work to me. What do you think is the problem with claymore because I can connect on SSL with Phoenix. Can you possibly post your .bat file? I remember the pictures posted in claymore thread, with the ff catched errors reloading epools.txt cannot resolve SSL and ssl:0 I was thinking it checks epools.txt with incorrect SSL url and port

My advice is dont bother. You will never achieve return on investment, even the electricity you will use. The markets are building up for a huge crash (sub $3000 bitcoin) its formed a right triangle, thats a very bad sign.
Ive been mining with my old gaming hardware since December 2017, and since the markets have crashed lately I now have spent more on electricity than I have in crypto. I have $160 CAD in crypto mining on 3 cards (HD 6950, R9 270X, and RX 580) 9 months mining and only $0.06/kWhr electricity and I still didnt manage to pay for it. The only way I can see making any kind of profit in this enviroment is with ASICS. GPU Mining is dead.
What's this right triangle you talk about? Can you elaborate a bit more? Sounds scary. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/descendingtriangle.aspWe are in Crypto world Bud, a simple news would flip events, seen different TA's A descending triangle might already at the Tip and will form an Ascending triangle Seen also a Head and Shoulder on a 1d tf A much concern on mining should be difficulty, prices will probably rise on due time ASICS,FPGA and new hardware releases would make present GPU to be extinct

I think the OP had typo error 'Start' @OP DYOR please, mining needs a technical knowledge, lot of troubleshootings and a lot of bucks and Sad to say, its not that profitable today depends on your power cost

I haven't really seen many bots available that support bitmex. I have tried mixtoco.in and it seems like a new underdeveloped project that doesn't really work. Anyone have any info on bots available for bitmex? preferably ones that have proven profits before?
Thank you all.
I don't have any experience with trading bots, but are you not charged a fee for using a bot or maybe pay a once off fee? Is it then really worth it? its an app and they have a licence to use, not actually a fee A one time payment depends on the trading bots some offer a per exchange license with perpetual updates

Hi All,
I have a TB250 BTC Pro mother board and two RX580 GPU's connected to it. I have connected the RX 580's to the PCI slots but not to the Yellow main PCI slot.If I don't do that the monitor signal is coming through my mother board DVI-D out. you can change the default vga monitor to the GPU instead of onboard VGA thru BIOS configuration Now my problem is when I switch on both the GPU fan's will start execute and after sometime one of the GPU's fan will stop running.
I think this is normal, under some circumstances when the GPU is cooled the fans won't spin an intelligent sensor for power saving

I don't use BitMex because of no trading fees so it looks suspicious to me.
Bitmex fees are different from any other Exchanges they use different type of contracts such Perpetual, traditional Futures, Upside/Downside Profits etc.. inside of it are maker, taker and settlement fees https://www.bitmex.com/app/feesJust be cautious in using this exchange Its addictive and may drain your Fund.. lol

thanks to all, now I have made an idea on how it should be made ...maybe the problem is that the ceiling is too low .
Now the temperature is 34° in the room with all the fans spinning. i really dont understand why it is so. there is a stagnation of heat. it is not really simple solve this problem , someone told me to make a exhaust fan in the ceiling but before doing a so hard modification i try with fans at the windows like in the pics posted but putting hot air out , the one that i put in the dry wall does nothing
You might want to consider how much Temperature outside the room As it contributes the air inlet also how powerful your Exhaust fans and inlet Fans just in case you decided to replace your ACU's

Wow... what a sexy setup bro gotminer I'm really impressed on the cleanliness of your mining cave carpet floor and a well ventilated room looking at your GPU babies are seems happy doing mining

DwarfMiner! Welcome back... another day another scam
Don't think so He's willing to prove the device to our trusted member with Bro phil and Vosk its a major requirement to trust your product Unlike Dwarfs sh*TTy reasons on not doing review Let see how this hardware will go

Guys, can you help me how to set the claymore to SSL? I'm trying to change the stratum pool into ssl but it doesn't work on claymore I hope some can help because i'm frustrated setting up my claymore to SSL pool connection. Unlike Phoenix that It works easily but my problem using Phoenix, it seems my hashrate dropping lately.
make sure the pool supports it, the port is correct and you have ssl prefix: -epool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 Thanks for the reply but I already tried this but it always getting error I mean it's always failed and it keeps retrying it looks like that the Claymore doesn't support SSL. Look at this image. the image shows that SSL could not resolve It does only mean that the URL configuration detected is invalid image also shows this " SSL:0" and this "reloading epools.txt" seems it directly looking at eppols.txt that has a configuration of SSL:0 check your .bat file

Well, previously when I run my GPU hot, I got a melted riser.
You sure you didn't accidentally use bad wiring to get that melted riser? Such as a poorly connected +12V? Because its very rare for an riser to melt due to GPU heat. The GPU might run at 80-90C but that's at the chip level, the rest of the PCB is most likely around 50-60C and shouldn't be able to melt the riser. This is actually the first time I am hearing something such as this. Same here... Never heard of of such! I've experienced melted riser but not because of GPU temps its due to bad wirings, wire gauge and power handling issue that I use 3 usb riser on a single molex rail In my Setup most effective and cheapest to manage heat is to blow hot air outside, and let fresh air in a Two industrial blower type fans solve it

Sometimes, you guys that mine really make me laugh with some of your question like Which of the altcoins is most profitable to mine.? How do you really make profit with this your mining things. Also, tell me just advise you that you should trade by buying ICO or take part in bounty that may bring money than mining.
we have a two way scene, we could both mine and trade by telling somebody to just stop mining and do the trade is also a lame some people has the cheap power and could still has a profit by sitting around and let the machines do the job and if it does trading, it could possibly make more gains

Turned off my rigs yesterday. Mining does not pay anymore.
Truly we are seeing a lot folks shutting down rigs unless the price goes up some machines could go rest this bear market pours blood unto miners profit Hope a pump for the new arrival of hardwares

It depends on the quality and price of the coins. Sometimes you can get millions of tokens, but they cost nothing and vice versa. I do not know if the unknown coins worth to be mined.
One thing to consider is the market cap though checking the whitepaper is really pain, spotting legitimacy and dedicated devs were also challenging you could also check on their social media and telegram accounts regarding peoples feeds though a time consuming and a tiring one

That if they are targeting a crypto miner customers
not sure how far and how its worth on mining as compared to previous models and Asics
but definitely its designed for gamers
If pumps really happen, then I guess, they wanted to hand over this beast to us

I have 10 mining rigs on my mining room. One of them has internet problem. I see there is internet network and i can surf the web without any problem. But the miner software shows no internet connection from time to time.
I use Windows 10 x64 Pro Lite and SRB Miner 1.65 The rig has 11500 h/s with 12 x RX570 4GB. My avarage hashrate is 8100 h/s because of internet connection problem. The other rigs has no problem. Only this one. I installed a fresh Windows but no solution.
Connectivity troubleshooting is a bit challenging try to do continuous ping with your pool then monitor, and check if that indeed it is your connectivity that is causing a fuss or the miner there's a possibility that upon browsing internet your connections were already restored Check if Ping has significant RTO then identify either problem is on the software or hardware side
