Most of our activity happens on other platforms. We should do a better job of presenting it here.

Things are very busy behind the scenes.  NEM devs delivered a great platform and are still working very hard. In time and future releases people will see that.

I am on other platforms and they are just as useless. What are the devs working on? Devs activity in the community is extremely important. Surely 1 of the "70" devs could be tasked with posting updates and voicing the communities opinion or vision with the rest of the team.

Hi together,

how long must i wait for my stake?
I give makoto since over one month my NEM adress... and i never recieve my nem ( because of the sockpuppet list)

i think slowly that you forget me.

Activity of 8 and only ever posted in nem? I believe you have been deemed a sockpuppet and im sure the community would agree.

harvested 7 blocks today all 0. I have been harvesting since the beginning and have only got about 600-800xem or 0.000544btc to me this is the major flaw as there really is no incentive to harvest. My importance is 8.4% which I think is pretty high so I certainly feel bad for those that are 1% or under.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members on: May 08, 2015, 10:44:01 AM
When I click on Start delegated harvesting that;
ERROR 699 Maximum number of harvesters allowed on server has been reached Huh

Lol there is no other way to explain then what the message says. Just connect to another remote nis that isnt full.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members on: May 08, 2015, 12:17:58 AM
I've been unable to harvest for the last few days, not even a block with zero fees. Before everything was running smoothly. Everything is working. Could someone enlighten on what's going on? By the way I'm using delegated harvesting.

It happens.
What could be happening - can't confirm this though - is that more and more people start to harvest. The more people "compete" the less likely it becomes for everyone to harvest a block.
It's good for the network when more XEM are being used to harvest but of course it can be annoying for "smaller" harvesters.

How did you setup delegated harvesting ? Is it possible the machine got restarted and it isn't set to auto-harvest with your remote account ?

Thank you for the explanation. That's actually a good thing because it means that Nem is in demand amongst its supporters
I wouldn't call myself a small harvester as I received 1 stake. I actually though that it might had something to do with POI (to sicourage people from accumulating Nem), because I didn't have much in and out transactions.

The wallet shows "stop delegated harvesting" and the NIS is synchronized so it should actually work.

*Is there anyone else with the same problem?
Yes im having the same problem, i have 1 stake s worth of NEM.
I feel that i havnt done something right when setting up delegated harvesting.
I did harvest one block on launch day and that block contained nothing.
But anyway i havnt harvested any other blocks since, so dont know if ive done something wrong or not.

The remote nis was probably restarted which means you must click stop delegated harvesting then click start delegated harvesting

stop delegated harvesting and then start it again. If the remote nis restarts it stops harvesting for you but unfortunately your client is unaware of this so you must click stop then start again.

LOL it is no wonder the medditeranean coin dev left with people like mill0601 complaining 24/7

Nah mate 16/5 I take weekends off and also need time to sleep.

guys.. relax... it was just an idea someone posted on telegram and got taken a bit out of proportion.. no reason for everyone to go off on a mad one about it.. if people move they move, if they dont they wont.. there really isnt that much of a reason to get worked up about it..

mill0601: your a bit out of order say "what have the completed so far"... have you noticed that the network is solid as a rock? did you notice the 1 year+ of seriously hard graft they put in? as for what they are working on now, jeff posted about that in reply to you i think a page or two back, if it wasnt you, go back and look.. a white paper takes so long cos its a really long and very technical document and its not going to get written over night. your likely used to the 2-3 page blog post type "white papers" normally released in the crypto sphere.. well that isnt whats being produced in nem and people will find out once its ready, so please... just relax.. why on earth would the devs work their asses off for over a year to release such a good platform only to sit around and twiddle their thumbs after we launch? the more they post on the forums the less work that gets done..

it takes not more then 30 seconds to post a quick update on here thats all I ask. Why would they work for a year and then sit on there asses? I dont know but we have seen it happen many times before. They had an entire year to work on the white paper it really should have been released at the same time as the launch of nem.

So there's a proposal to move forum because the current one is dead to another forum which will probably be more dead because people can't be arsed to register again.

What advantage does this new place bring that the old one didn't other than dilute its branding?

+1

You want to keep the forum actuve then get the devs on here to give us something to talk about. What have they completed so far? What are they working on? Why does a white paper take so long?

Yes, that can be true, but you guys should not send stakes to poloniex. That's nonsense. Just contact these two guys.

I don't know exactly what your problem is......oh wait I know, you're still waiting for your stake and that's why you're pissed off.
If you'd visited the Nem forum you would know that one of the multi sig group is away and they will resume sending stakes in a couple of days.

I'm not worried that some stakes would get lost in Polo and end up in their pockets. The problem is that many have their Nem stored AT POLO and you never know what POLO would do with them and other coins.

** By the way my Polo account has been frozen for whatever reason  Undecided Can't move Nem anywhere.

I don't know exactly what your problem is......oh wait I know, you're account is frozen and that's why you're pissed off.

I just had to say it. This post however is not serious just meant as a joke.

Haha no I'm not pissed off, I have only about 500 Nem in Polo
I can guess the reason.
Their xem withdraw fee is 15 xem.
But if you withdraw millions of xem, the transaction fee is more than 100 xem.
They send millions of xem without that fee.
But even though it is not calculated at that time, the transaction fee is recorded somewhere.
It is not free.
You are surely saved more than 500 xem so far.
So, you cannot withdraw it.
It is not yours, but Poloniex's.  Wink

minimum withdraw is like 500 - 1k xem or something i think.
There is no minimum xem in withdrawal in polo, I think.
And I have withdrawn 7 times, each are more than 1 m xem, without transaction fee.

I gaurantee there was a 15 xem fee everytime

But if I didnt have so much free time I couldnt be on here as much. I am actually suprised there isnt more people ticked off at the lack of anything happening. Maybe there just being silent.

It seems that you have this idea that the people here owe you something. They do not.

Sure they do. They wanted me to invest in their coin. I will leave here if someone buys my 48million at 50 satoshi each.

Unless you dont believe they are worth that Wink
No they don't. There are no guarantees in speculation. If you were really concerned about your investment you would stop bad mouthing it in a public forum and do something positive.
Difference of opinion I guess

I watched the same thing happen to medditeranean coin. It was a really unique and promising coin but the dev stopped doing anything so the coin died. It filled a great void of what to do with your old asics when they were no longer profitable to mine bitcoin, you could pair it with a cou and mine med.

buy support is just crumbling I have lost so much already thank you nem
complaining about it won't help

I am hoping the devs may see this and wake up

Yeah, like when Gavin sees the price of BTC go down and races to release new hidden features  Roll Eyes  Stop wasting your time here and go out and get some exercise, plant a tree, build a fort, or better yet, get a job that doesn't allow you so much free time.

btt doesn't exactly yield intellectual discussion all that much so I don't blame them for not hanging out here.. Though if you read telegram or nem forum you will find they are very much awake and working magnitudes more than anyone else to push nem further.. Not something I can say about most on btt with any shread of truth.

Saying that, perhaps it is you who needs to wake up and show some appreciation for the hard work the devs have done and are doing.

I will absolutely show appreciation but until they present something its all hopes and dreams.

Why not participate? there are a lot of things to be done.

Jeez dude, don't be one of those idjets that sit around in their cheetos stained underwear and post crap all day complaining about what other people have or have not done.

Please keep the personal attacks out of here. Im sorry I want results.
